Veronica went from college boyfriend-girlfriend to husband and wife with Jonathan Rollings. They got married and on Jonathan’s request, kept their marriage a secret. He even gave her a silver band saying one day he would change it to a diamond ring. 
Two years after their marriage, Jonathan met Imelda who promised to help him build his business for a favor. 
Fulfilling this favor, seven years have passed by.

"Paint some new ones, and we can use them as inspiration for new designs,"

I knew Veronica's paintings had given Harmon Designs a new creative direction, and the designing team was also full of praises back then.


I looked up at Jonathan with a composed expression, and nodded as if I totally agreed with him.
