Harmon Mansion—the next day
I woke up the next day. Today was the first official day for Imelda as my wife.
She had signed the confidentiality document, but I knew she wouldn't keep it under wraps for too long.
So, I had to implement my plan fast.
I got up and dressed and walked downstairs.
"What's with the bags?" I asked as I walked down.
"Of course, we're moving to Rollings House," she said, grinning like a Cheshire cat.
"Imelda," I looked at her face, void of any emotions.
"Our marriage is a secret, remember?"
"If you go there, won't everyone question us?"
Just then the doorbell rang.
"That must be Janet and Adrian."
"Janet and Adrian?" she asked, confused.
"Well, Janet is my daughter and Adrian is our son," I said.
"Now that we're married, of course we'll live together."
She exhaled as she greeted the kids.
"Mother, are you going somewhere?"
