Jonathan's POV
Vance's Office
Vance had finally told me everything about Veronica.
Fact: she was no stranger to me.
Fact: she is my legal wife.
Fact: we built a life together after facing betrayal, danger and still managed to make a life with our two children.
I listened to every word as Vance spoke.
Yet all I was remembering was Veronica's hesitation in reminding me all this.
Somehow I began to feel guilty towards Veronica.
I exhaled.
"I can't pretend anymore,"
"Fact is Veronica has become distant since I lost my memory,"
"Jonathan?" Vance questioned me.
"But that's cause of the doctor's words,"
"Nonetheless,"
"I said we could have made new memories if I forgot her in remembering,"
"But she never took the effort in making me remember her even once."
"I know she's important,"
"I now know she's my wife,"
"But since I don't remember her, and she also took no effort in making me,"
I trailed off a bit.
"I feel I stole a life that doesn't belong to me,"
