Grand Del Hotel - One of the smaller halls
Ever since I have been announced the heir of the River inheritance, I've been spending my evenings over at the hotel rather than home.
Today again, I was attending yet another jewelry auction as the treaty admin.
Apart from Veronica, Daniel and Isabella were also with me.
Ever since Alex's matter began, Daniel and Isabella have been supporting us.
As we walked inside, we noticed today's auction had pulled in most of the prominent jewelry houses representatives.
I was greeting some of the attendees, Isabella's gaze drifted towards the entrance.
"Jonathan," she softly called out.
"She's here."
I looked up and saw it was Imelda.
She walked through the crowd like air and stood beside me as if it was her rightful place.
My mood changed immediately.
One of the members saw her and walked over.
He was one of Fredrick's loyal followers.
"And you must be Mrs—"
"Imelda Harmon Rollings," she said, smiling.
