The night settled quietly over the Romano Mansion. Most of the lights had already been turned off.Only the garden lamps continued glowing softly beneath the moonlight.
Inside her bedroom...Aria sat alone by the window. She hadn't moved for almost an hour.
The promise she had made to Rafael's parents echoed inside her mind over and over again.
"When Rafael becomes completely healthy... you will leave."
She slowly closed her eyes.
Tears slipped silently down her cheeks.
"I don't know how to do this..."
she whispered to herself.
"If I disappear..."
"He'll look for me."

She knew Rafael better than anyone.He wouldn't simply let her walk away.He would search every corner of the world if he had to.
Unless he believed she no longer loved him.
That thought made her heart ache.
