As soon as I got home I changed and went to the nearest flower shop to get a bouquet and drove to Avery's house
I heard Avery and someone else giggling inside
"What? Who's at her house" I think
I ring the doorbell once they stop giggling and I guess are having a whispered argument
I ring the doorbell again
Someone opens the door but it isn't Avery , it's Eliza?
"Hey, Eliza is Avery home?" I ask
Eliza's expression looks shocked for for some reason she looks at the bouquet im holding and her mouth opens
It felt a bit awkward so I cleared my throat
Eliza seems to come out of her trance and finally says "yeah she's right here do you want me to call her?" She asks but without waiting for my answer she screams towards the living room "Avery! Someone's here for you!"
"Who?!" Avery says grunting
"Noah!" Eliza tells her
"Call him inside!" Avery says
"Come inside" Eliza invites me
"Umm,ok thank you" i say
I walk into her house which is surprisingly big it's not that big but it's not small either
I saw Avery on the couch and she looked like a disaster,not in a bad way since her hair was all ruined mascara running down her face.
I smile at her and say "hi"
She returns the smile and also says "hi" and tries to tame her hair and rub the mascara off her face
I go infront of her, plop the bouquet beside her and say "here, let me help" and rub the mascara off her face
She gives me an awkward smile and murmurs "thanks" while here best friend is smirking at us
"Sit down" Avery says and pats the space beside her
I sit right where she patted with barely any space between us and she looked like she didn't expect me to sit right there and Eliza was smirking even more and seeing Averys face which was as red as a tomato i chuckled "so….what are you doing here?" She asks me
"Well,with everything that happened at school I wanted to see you."
"Oh, yeah I also wanted to thank you" Avery says
