Chapter 101 - Tsunade’s Vacation?

"Looks like… as long as you master it, one 'Rasengan-style' move really can carry you through everything…"

Inside the Otherworld Space,

a colossal Crow Tengu armored giant stood tall, blotting out the sky.

Looking at the devastating destruction below—everything utterly crushed and annihilated—Akira Ren, positioned at the giant's forehead inside a dazzling chakra crystal fused with the divine artifact Chibiki no Iwa, couldn't help but smile.

He was quite satisfied with the overwhelming power of his newly combined technique:

a fusion of Yasaka Magatama (a natural Susanoo ability) with Wind Release—

forming the Wind Release: Yasaka Magatama – Ultra Big Rasenshuriken.

With his absurd chakra control and mastery over all nature transformations,

he had easily upgraded the Rasengan—

a technique already representing the peak of **chakra shape transformation**.

"Basically… any kind of 'Rasengan variant' is fair game now."

"WOOOSH—!"

The giant's brilliant cyan wings spread wide,

kicking up terrifying winds.

The Crow Tengu warrior shot forward like lightning.

Having already left the Land of Hot Water far behind,

Akira Ren sped back toward the town.

He could've used Flying Thunder God to return instantly—

but he wanted to fully enjoy the power of Perfect Susanoo.

After all—

every man is a boy at heart.

And giant mechs?

That's a dream that never dies.

Returning to Town

Soon,

the massive figure streaked through the Otherworld Space

and arrived back above the town.

"Hmm?"

With his three-dimensional perception,

Akira Ren noticed something in the western district.

Tsunade, Shizune, and Karin were inside a shabby house,

treating a mother and her daughter.

"Got it."

He dismissed the enormous Susanoo.

The vast chakra returned to his body.

Then he exited the Otherworld Space—

reappearing inside the inn.

The pattern of his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan faded from his eyes.

In the West District

Inside a run-down house,

the glow in Karin's hands slowly faded.

"You're both fine now. Don't worry."

She smiled gently at the mother and child.

Seeing the mother tightly hugging her daughter with deep affection,

a trace of longing and nostalgia flashed across Karin's eyes.

It had been two years since she last saw her own mother…

Was she doing well back in Konoha?

"Thank you… thank you so much!"

The pale, sickly-looking woman burst into tears.

She pulled her malnourished daughter—no older than five—

and bowed repeatedly in gratitude to Karin, Tsunade, and the others.

She had broken her leg days ago while working.

Too poor to afford medical treatment,

she had been suffering ever since.

She never expected such kind people—

to treat her for free.

And not just treat—

but heal her instantly, like miracle doctors.

She could now move freely again.

Even more astonishing—

when Karin extracted a foul-smelling black substance from both her and her daughter,

their bodies felt completely refreshed.

According to them,

they had been unknowingly poisoned over time

by eating wild vegetables with mild toxins.

If left untreated,

it could've become life-threatening.

A Small Kindness

"It's nothing, really. Just a small effort."

Karin gently helped the woman up.

She was already used to situations like this after the past few days.

"Please wait!"

The woman rushed into her nearly empty kitchen

and brought out a basket of eggs.

With deep gratitude, she handed it to Karin.

"We don't have money… but please accept this!"

Karin looked at the barren house,

then at the frail little girl in her arms.

She shook her head.

"No, really. We don't need anything."

She smiled warmly and patted the child's head.

"Be a good girl, okay? Listen to your mom."

Then she added gently:

"Keep these for yourselves. You both need the nutrition."

"And remember—don't eat those wild vegetables anymore. They're mildly toxic, and over time they can seriously harm your body."

Tsunade and Shizune watched from the side,

smiling softly.

"Karin, well done."

Without lingering,

the three of them left—

under the grateful gaze of the mother and daughter.

A Quiet Moment

"Karin, what's wrong?"

Shizune noticed her mood and asked gently.

"You did really well just now. The bone-setting, the detox process—everything was perfect."

"I'm fine, Shizune…"

Karin shook her head.

But her eyes were already red.

Her nose tingled.

She turned away, trying not to cry.

Tsunade, however, had already understood.

"This girl… she misses her mother."

After all,

Karin had grown up wandering with her mother.

Being apart for two years—

it was only natural she would feel this way.

Tsunade's Decision -

"Let's stop here for today."

Tsunade gently placed a hand on Karin's head.

She smiled.

Though she could care for her like family,

she wasn't her real mother.

That longing couldn't be replaced.

"…Okay."

Karin lowered her head.

Her emotions finally broke.

Tears began falling uncontrollably.

Shizune quickly realized what was happening,

but didn't know how to comfort her.

She looked helplessly at Tsunade.

"Lady Tsunade…"

"Karin."

Tsunade's voice suddenly became slightly serious.

Startled, Karin hurriedly wiped her tears—

but couldn't stop them.

Even her nose was running.

Like a child who had done something wrong,

she lowered her head nervously.

"L-Lady Tsunade… I'm sorry, I…"

"It's okay. I understand."

Tsunade's eyes softened.

She pulled Karin into a gentle hug.

Then she smiled.

"How about this—"

"You and Akira Ren can return to Konoha for a while."

"I'll give you half a month off."

A Tearful Surprise

"…Lady Tsunade!?"

Karin froze.

She had been bracing herself for a scolding.

Instead—

she looked up, tearful and stunned.

Then her face lit up with disbelief and joy.

"Really!?"

"Of course."

Tsunade smiled and wiped her tears.

Then lightly tapped her forehead.

"You silly girl. If you miss your mom, you should tell me."

"Do I look that heartless to you?"

"No… that's not it… I'm just so happy… waaah—!"
