Liuxian checked his watch for the third time in as many minutes, already halfway into his jacket by the time he reached the top of the stairs.
"I'm going to be late." He pressed a quick kiss to Guiying's temple, keys already in hand. "What's on your schedule today?"
"Limo needs me at Yang Entertainment." Guiying glanced up from his phone. "Not sure what for yet, he wouldn't say over text."
"Let me know if it's anything serious." Liuxian's brow furrowed briefly before he checked his watch again, already moving toward the stairs. "I really do have to go."
"Go, go." Guiying gave him a light push toward the door, laughing under his breath at how flustered he'd suddenly become. "You're the one who's actually got somewhere to be this morning."
Liuxian was out the door before he'd even finished the sentence, the sound of the car pulling away from the estate barely audible through the walls.
