Limo laughed, short and genuine, and dropped onto the sofa across from him with the loose easy energy of someone whose distress apparently had an off switch when Guiying walked into the room. "You came all the way here and on such a busy day too. I'm touched."

"Okay, okay." He leaned forward, elbows on his knees, and the humour in his face settled into something more honest underneath it. "You want to know who he is?"
"Yes. I want to know everything," Guiying said. "Start from the beginning."
Limo was quiet for a moment, turning his phone over in his hands once before setting it face down on the cushion beside him.
"Liu Moying," he said.
Guiying looked at him.
