Chapter 216 - Chapter 216: The Height of Vulgarity, Family Disgrace, and Utter Chaos

The high, spacious royal corridor of the Junagadh Palace had turned into a complete battlefield. Blinded by toxic jealousy and consumed by the humiliation of losing King Rupanjan of Rupnagar, Snigdha was behaving like a complete lunatic, entirely devoid of reason.

In a frenzy, Snigdha marched straight up to the cunning zamindar's son, Jishnu. Her vile, ferocious eyes practically spewed flames of rage.

Yanking the collar of Jishnu's shirt in an utterly hostile and degrading manner, she spat out curses, "Are you an absolute blockhead, Jishnu? Do you have ashes or any shred of intellect in that head of yours? How many times must I tell you, you uncouth fool? Have you come here to stand in the full royal palace and witness my severe humiliation? What nerve you have that you aren't taking a single step! How are you supposed to be my future groom? You aren't even worthy enough to carry my husband's shoes! Looking at a spineless man like you makes me want to strike you with my dirty shoes and kick you straight out of this Junagadh Palace! Someone ought to whip you and shake you by the roots of your hair, you child of a Jishnu!"

Hearing such filthy, vulgar abuse and threats of being beaten with shoes from the lips of his bride-to-be and the princess of Junagadh, every drop of patience in the zamindar's son Jishnu vanished in a single instant!

Yanking his shirt collar free from Snigdha's grip with a powerful jerk, Jishnu widened his eyes and roared, "Shut your dirty mouth, you wretched, hateful girl! How dare you possess such sheer audacity to address me so disrespectfully and hurl abuses at me? Do not forget that I am the son of a most powerful zamindar! If you, as a princess, can act with such hideous, uncouth, and despicable behavior toward your own birth parents, my blood runs cold just thinking about what fiendish acts you will pull with me in the future! Seeing this manic side of yours makes me feel utter fear and disgust at the very thought of marrying you! I will never marry a lunatic and a wild hound like you! Get out of my sight, you filthy creature!"—Saying this, Jishnu turned his face in absolute disgust and began walking straight toward the royal palace gates!

But Snigdha was not one to let go! Lunging forward like a lunatic, she gave a violent, heavy jerk to Jishnu's arm!

Her eyes bulging out of their sockets, Snigdha screamed, "You have to marry me, Jishnu! I will tie you up with ropes and seat you at the wedding altar to marry you! Why can't any of you see it? Over in the Kingdom of Rupnagar, how grandly has the love between that new King Rupanjan and this stepmother's daughter Prabhasa bloomed? Seeing their romance and drama makes my blood boil! I feel like running over right now and strangling that wretched Prabhasa to death!"

Saying this, Snigdha spun around and pointed a venomous finger toward King Aditya and Queen Arohi, who were standing frozen nearby, "And listen, old Aditya and Arohi! How dare you two old folks possess the courage to stop me? Open your ears wide and listen... whenever I feel like it, I will murder this stepmother's daughter Prabhasa with my own hands! I will chop up her flesh and feed it to wild beasts! If you two old folks can, try saving your overly pampered, precious star Prabhasa from my hands!"

Holding his forehead, King Aditya cried out in a deeply pained and furious voice, "What has gotten into you, Snigdha? Why are you speaking in the language of a wild, rabid beast, you shameless girl? Why are you burning to ashes with so much jealousy toward Prabha? You yourself stood in the full royal court that day and discarded Rupanjan like trash, kicking him away! When you abandoned him, everything was fine! And today, when Prabha has genuinely loved Rupanjan and accepted him as her life partner, why is so much poison and envy awakening in your belly?"

Thrashing her arms and legs in a grotesque, vulgar manner, Snigdha snapped, "Shut up, you old man! Shut your useless mouth! Is this a story about giving up or keeping someone? Only my word goes here! My command is the supreme final word in this palace! I can see that not a single soul in this royal palace gives a dime's worth of respect to my dignity! Even this thief's child Jishnu isn't giving me an ounce of respect!"

Stepping forward toward Snigdha, Jishnu raised his hand and roared, "Someone ought to land a hard slap across your face right now, Snigdha! Mind your filthy tongue! Day and night, all you do is pine after Rupanjan... Rupanjan... Rupanjan! You still cannot forget that Rupanjan in your heart, yet you want to marry me out of greed for my vast wealth and estate? For what joy should I bring a disgraced girl like you into my home? You should be hung upside down and whipped! At any rate, I don't have the time to listen to your ugly mudslinging and madness! I am leaving!"

As Jishnu attempted to take another step, Snigdha snatched up a heavy wooden staff resting against a high pillar of the balcony with one hand!

Raising the staff wildly in the air, she charged after Jishnu and yelled, "Where do you think you're going again, you child of a Jishnu? Listen to a firm word! You aren't even fit to be my husband's footwear! I'm going to give you a thrashing with this staff today! I'll strip the skin off your back with blows from this stick, just watch! I'll grab you by the ear, pull you hard, and stuff you inside a basket full of filthy trash! And you two old folks, Aditya and Arohi... I'm going to grab both of you and dunk you repeatedly in the village's rotten, scum-filled pond! Only then might a tiny bit of sense enter those rotten brains of yours! All day long, your sympathy overflows only for this stepmother's daughter Prabhasa! And Prafulla... you're jumping around too much, aren't you? I'll grab you by your hair tuft, shake you, and slam you straight onto the floor!"

Seeing Snigdha's unbridled, hideous, and ominous manic rampage, Queen Arohi finally screamed with every ounce of power in her voice!

Arohi roared, "Calm down, all of you! Everyone quiet down! What have you started here? And what is wrong with you, Snigdha? Why have you been barking like a rabid dog since morning? I'm telling you, don't drive us completely mad! If you overstep any further, I will send you off straight away to be imprisoned in Gurudev's ashram! Then you'll realize what a bitter lesson feels like!"

The moment the words of sending her to Gurudev's ashram were uttered, Snigdha let out a toxic, fiendish giggle and leaned against the wall!

Cursing in a loud, vile voice, she snapped, "Ha! You people sent me off to an ashram back when I was a little child! In that rustic, worthless ashram, you wasted five precious, whole years of my life! If I had stayed right here in this Junagadh Royal Palace back then, I would have siphoned off all the wealth, lands, and private estates of this kingdom into my own name long ago!"
