Chapter 172 - Chapter 172: A Sister's Grace and The Night Before Coronation

Hearing these vile and toxic words from Snigdha's mouth, Prafulla and Prabhasa had no doubt left as to who the true culprit was! Blinded by rage, Prafulla pushed the door open, stepped inside, and was about to slap Snigdha across the face with full force! But right at that moment, Prabhasa tightly grabbed her brother's hand with immense affection and urgency.

Pulling her brother back to stop him, Prabhasa said in a low yet calm voice, "Let it go, brother! Why soil your hands on such a vile offender? Just as she has committed a lowly deed, she will receive the punishment for her sins from the Almighty above at the right time! We don't need to lose our temper over such trivial matters at all. My wardrobe is filled with countless beautiful dresses of love and grace. Let her take comfort in believing that I have no fine dress left to wear tomorrow! Let her be happy thinking I am drowning in tears over a torn dress! But she doesn't know what gorgeous attire I have saved, far finer than hers!"

Prafulla looked at Prabhasa's face. Witnessing his sister's incomparable maturity, Prafulla restrained his anger and lowered his hand. Casting a look of utmost disdain at Snigdha, he said, "You are fortunate to have a sister like Prabhasa, Snigdha! She saved you today, or else I would have taught you the true lesson for breaking the rules of the royal palace!"

Saying this, Prafulla and Prabhasa left Snigdha's room and went to their respective chambers. Returning to his room, Prafulla selected and laid out a heroic royal attire for tomorrow's event. Meanwhile, Prabhasa picked out an exceptionally elegant, princess-like royal outfit from her grand wardrobe to wear tomorrow morning. On the other hand, still consumed by her arrogance, Snigdha pulled out a magnificent dress studded with precious diamonds for tomorrow and began setting it up with her cosmetics. Slowly, the golden glow of the evening faded, and a sweet night descended upon both Junagarh and Rupnagar.

Meanwhile, at the Rupnagar Royal Palace, the radiance of lights illuminated the entire estate. Rupanjan sat in his chamber, staring intently at the clothes presented by the Emperor. Looking at the priceless silk and gold-embroidered royal garments the Emperor had sent for him, Rupanjan's eyes widened in amazement! Seeing the exquisite craftsmanship of the clothes, he was almost hesitant to touch them.

As the Emperor entered the room, Rupanjan said humbly, "Your Majesty! I have never seen such beautiful and priceless garments in my entire life! I am merely the son of a humble farmer—does it truly suit me to wear such expensive and royal attire? My heart hesitates, Your Majesty!"

The Emperor burst into a hearty laugh at Rupanjan's innocence. Holding Rupanjan's hands with immense warmth, he said, "It certainly suits you, Rupanjan! You are not just any ordinary person; from this day forth, you are the Prime Minister of this vast Kingdom of Rupnagar! A minister of the realm must uphold royal dignity. So, do not harbor any hesitation or doubt. Keep these clothes with great care, and as soon as you wake up tomorrow morning, dress in them and remain fully prepared. For starting tomorrow morning, the people of the entire kingdom, all our relatives from near and far, and the royal families of neighboring realms will begin arriving at the palace!"

Folding his hands, Rupanjan replied, "Very well, Your Majesty. I shall prepare exactly as you command."

Reassuring Rupanjan, the Emperor stepped down to the main courtyard of the royal palace and immediately summoned the chief guards to inspect the preparations for tomorrow's grand celebration.
