She opens the vent carefully, making sure that she couldn't be heard by anyone. She then jumps off it and lands on her feet, one hand catching her fall.
Her eyes landed on the door as she stepped inside.
Before she could even look around the room, the guard in question was running in her way with an electric stick.
He was aiming for her head.
Her eyes widen.
A sharp hit—
And she barely dodges to the side.
She rubs her nose, which had felt a small shock going through it.
But before her eyes could even land back on him, he was already hitting the metallic wall repeatedly with his sword, which made a horrible and sharp sound to both distract her, and call for help.
Capricorn's eyes squeezed shut as she crouched down, her hands moving to her ears.
The guard hit the wall a few more times before suddenly rotating his sword towards her.
It landed straight into her chest.
The steel was cold inside of her chest… she could feel every detail of it…
She fell back with a groan and clutched at the sword, her head tilting back.
''MOTHERFU—!''
The guard takes several deep breaths.
Before she could even stand up, several other guards walked in on them.
They all stared down at the now-wounded Capricorn with wide eyes.
''Demon Capricorn…? You got Demon Capricorn in a 1v1?''
The guard nods proudly, his hands flying to his hips.
Slowly, one by one, they all start applauding him.
He bows once.
Then twice.
And even a third time, just for good measure.
Some clicking boots could faintly be heard.
''Thank you, thank you, everyone!'' He exclaims. ''I'll make sure to get you all a promotion! Now that we finally got our grip on Demon Capricorn-!''
He motioned to the spot where she should be.
''We can finally—!''
He freezes when he looks at the empty spot.
They all stare blankly at that spot, their smiles slowly fading.
There wasn't even a single drop of blood on the floor…
Now that he thought about it, blood hadn't even splattered earlier…
He facepalmed.
Then, he muttered something about 'idiots' and clicked his tongue.
Meanwhile, Capricorn was running away from the room with the keys in hand. She managed to steal them earlier without getting caught.
She kept running for a few minutes, trying to save the ship from the inside. Those idiots didn't even know they could be in great danger if she didn't fix what she broke in the first place…

Capricorn managed to fix all of the wires now… except for the most important ones… in the pilot's room.
She spotted Artemis and Matilda walking in the metallic halls, looking for Capricorn.
And that's exactly when she landed right in front of them.
''Hello there, new fellas~!''
Artemis jumped in surprise and held onto Matilda's arm.
Capricorn snorted… before remembering the situation at hand and laughing nervously…
''Say, could you two distract… the pilot—?''
Their eyes widen.
''What the fuc—
-Are you crazy?!'' Artemis exclaimed.
Capricorn laughed nervously again and started rubbing the back of her neck.
''I know… it's basically an impossible mission…''
Matilda nods, flabbergasted.
Capricorn turns around and hums in thought, pinching her chin with a gloved hand.
''An impossible mission… for a mortal…''
Her signature smirk starts forming on her lips when an idea pops in her head…
''I think I know what to do~…''
Meanwhile, on William's side…
He raised an eyebrow at Adam, his hold on Leyla protective… even though she didn't really need it…
''Who even is Moonlight…?
Adam made a chair rise from his shadow and sat down on it with a smirk.
''Let me tell you a little story…''
William held onto Leyla tighter with a frown.
He nodded in acknowledgment. As much as he hated Adam, he was aware he could never beat him…
Adam cleared his throat and crossed his legs. His dark hair elegantly swayed, his purple eyes piercing through them.
''Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young girl named 'Moonlight'. She didn't know what her real name was, so her loved ones chose it for her.''
William raised an eyebrow and shifted in his seat. He had heard of The Moon Goddess one day… but he didn't know much about her.
Adam's smirk widened at William's curiosity.
''She was known for her enchanting, mismatched eyes… Her right one is a pale brown. Cold… yet strangely calming, in a way… her left one is an amethyst purple. Capable of making any man fall into her traps… And yet…''
He lifts his hand to point at the moon.
William and Leyla look at it with raised eyebrows.
''She wasn't happy. People didn't love her for who she was, but for her beauty. She didn't become The Goddess of The Moon by choice, but by necessity. She was born as a Goddess… born to have so many responsibilities at such a young age…''
Leyla tilted her head to the side, holding onto William's side a little tighter.
''But why did she have to become a Goddess so soon…?''
Adam's gaze hardens, a muscle in his jaw twitching as he slowly stands up from the chair.
''Because her mother was The Moon Goddess before her… and she died after giving birth.''
His pupils sharpen.
''Moon was unironically bound to the moon the moment she was brought to this world… and to top it all, she went through so much pain and suffering to help others…''
He grits his teeth, William and Leyla's eyes widen.
William's arm tightens around his sister as he swallows a lump in his throat…
His throat was so tight it was hard to even let out a sound…
Adam walks to a tree with a few, long strides before throwing a hard punch at it.
The impact caused the tree to throw itself at another, causing the ground to shake a little, some of the trees' barks to splatter on the floor.
The leaves were dancing around him… in an almost soft way…
His next words were spoken through a tight jaw.
''Moonlight ended up developing personalities like Silver or Capricorn… but those aren't able to protect her as good as I could…!''
Adam's breath was ragged as he slowly turned back to them.
''So, to make it short… the reason I want you to awaken Moonlight… is so that I could keep her safe.''
William's eyes widen further.
He backs away as his arms fall from Leyla's body.
''How the heck am I supposed to do this…?!'' He said urgently.
Adam's signature smirk returns as he slowly kneels down in front of William.
''Relax… I can practically hear your thoughts.''
He tries mimicking William's voice: ''Don't tell me he's gonna put me in danger!!!''
Adam snickers at his own imitation before standing up and crossing his arms.
''All of Moon's personalities get awaken for a reason… putting you in danger would only awaken Capricorn, but it won't be effective because she's already here… or maybe Silver, if the captain doesn't want to…''
He steps closer to William.
''No, what Moonlight needs is to feel safe… the second she'll see a cozy place, she most likely will come back…''
His smirk widens.
'And if that doesn't help…' he thinks. 'I can still make her think it's safe…'
He pats William's head awkwardly.
''And hey, she'll probably give you her blessing.''
He leans to whisper directly in his ear.
''And just to tempt you a little more…'' he grins. ''I can help you become stronger…''
William's eyes glint with something dangerously close to hope…
''H-huh…?''
Adam's grin widens.
''Have you ever heard of Dark Magic…?''
