Having made his decision, Qiu Xia first met with Miroku to report that he was safe. Afterward, he traveled to the Five Great Hidden Villages, sought out five Elite Jonin, and modified their memories while handing over the bodies of the White Zetsu he had killed.
Once these Elite Jonin regained consciousness, they immediately sought out the Kage of their respective villages. After the Kage learned the information from these Elite Jonin, they immediately convened meetings with high-level officials and ninjas and began a massive operation to capture White Zetsu.
Whether to ensure the safety of the villages or for the sake of research, the White Zetsu had to die. After all, no one could rest easy with such creatures lurking within their walls. Furthermore, by capturing White Zetsu,

The villages handled these spies differently; Konoha, Sunagakure, Iwagakure, and Kirigakure chose to interrogate and then imprison them, while Kumogakure simply executed them after gathering information.
Even though Kumogakure acted so ruthlessly, the other villages could not openly criticize them, as those individuals were spies who operated in the shadows.
Due to the aggressive hunt by the five villages, White Zetsu chose to withdraw from the Five Great Nations and flee to smaller countries. However, while those fleeing to other countries were safe for a time, those who headed toward the Land of Demons were wiped out by Qiu Xia.
"What on earth is going on? Why are these villages capturing White Zetsu on such a large scale? How did they discover them, and where did they get the method to find them?" On a high mountain in the Land of Bears, the black-and-white-faced Zetsu looked on with a grim expression.
Black Zetsu had been able to hide in the ninja world for so many years partly because of his immortality and partly because of the intelligence gathered by White Zetsu. With White Zetsu's help, Black Zetsu could obtain almost any information he desired. White Zetsu's unique nature allowed for perfect camouflage, making them undetectable to the people of the ninja world.
But for some reason, lately, the ninjas seemed as if their Du and Ren Meridians had suddenly been opened. They had all found ways to search for White Zetsu and began capturing them en masse.
Not only that, but the people of the five villages had also researched Spatial Barriers. Sunagakure, Iwagakure, and Kirigakure had set up Spatial Barriers in key locations, while the wealthy Konoha and Kumogakure had covered their entire villages with them.
This situation made Uchiha Obito's teeth itch with hatred. Who was the one targeting him? It was bad enough that so many of his spies had been caught, but now they had even set up Spatial Barriers. How was he supposed to move around now?
