Yami clicked his tongue in annoyance. He had not expected Cedric to ruin everything.
"It looks like they want to peek. As expected of the Crimson Lions, so full of spirit. Keep it up, you bastards."
Mereoleona sensed the commotion and grinned instead of getting angry.
"Peeking? I won't let those filthy men see Big Sis's flawless body!"
Sol slammed her hands down.

The stone wall rose even higher, completely blocking any chance of success.
The game was over.
Cedric casually controlled the trees, dragging every last Crimson Lion member off the wall without leaving a single one behind.

The Royal Knights selection was about to begin.

The vice captain opened his grimoire as freezing mist gathered.

A sharp blast shot forward.

When the dust settled, both Purple Orca members were already unconscious.
The red-haired masked man stepped forward, removed the vice captain's cloak, and draped it over himself, revealing a grin filled with sharp teeth.

After a short speech, the Wizard King began explaining the rules.

"It seems your personality has changed quite a bit after the expedition, Xerx Lugner," Julius said calmly.
"Wizard King, he isn't..." Marx tried to speak, but Julius stopped him.
"Since everyone is here, Cob, open the teleportation gate."
The royal mage opened a teleportation circle, and the participating Magic Knights stepped through to the battlefield.
Seated high above, the Wizard King and the king officially announced the start of the Royal Knights selection.
"First match, Team A versus Team B."
Team B consisted of Asta, Mimosa Vermillion, and the fake Xerx.
"Alright, let's give it everything we've got. Our goal is to win!" Asta shouted, raising his Demon-Slayer Sword.
Mimosa watched him with a soft expression.
For some reason, whenever she looked at Asta, her heart tightened slightly.
"How annoying. A loud idiot like you only knows how to shout."
"You cool masked guy, are you looking down on me?"
"I'm not here to win. I have no interest in the championship."
"You're really irritating, but we still need to work together right now."
The red-haired masked man gave Asta a pitiful glance before lying down and closing his eyes.
A flaming arrow suddenly shot across the battlefield, piercing straight into their magic crystal.
"Aaaah! What just happened?!"
"Hey, cool mask, stop sleeping! Our crystal got hit!"
The masked man ignored him and simply turned over, continuing his nap.
Another flaming arrow struck the crystal.
Asta felt like his entire world was collapsing.
