Yami grabbed Cedric by the collar and lifted him.
"Captain Yami, you're bleeding."
"Don't change the subject! I'm going to beat you to death!"
Cedric's eyes sharpened as he drove a brutal kick into Yami's side.
"My kidney!"
Yami's scream echoed through the base as fresh blood seeped through his bandages.
"You're dead!"
Cedric's expression hardened.
Looks like I made it worse. No choice now.
"Sharingan."
His eyes spun, evolving into a two-tomoe state.
Yami suddenly froze for a split second.

Cedric picked him up.

Rebecca handed over some candy and a doll.

After dropping Marco off near the church and leaving a marker, Cedric returned.
Well, kids handled. Time to enjoy myself a bit.
"That bastard Cedric destroyed my sword! I'll kill him!"
Back at the base, Yami had regained consciousness.
He touched his waist.
No pain. No injury.
His expression changed.
"Vanessa, what happened earlier?"
He didn't wait for an answer.
"Finral, take me to the Royal Capital."
Owen relaxed in a chair, sipping tea.
"Now this is life."
"Uncle Owen!"

The door burst open as Yami stormed in.
"Yami? What now? Is your wound bleeding again?"
"No. I want a full check."
He removed his shirt without hesitation.
"Fine."

"Strange… there's no damage at all."
"Your body is in perfect condition. Even the removed kidney has completely regenerated."
