Chapter 81 - 81: The Citadel of Code and the March of the Realms

With the defeat of Lilith, the Architect's Core realized that the 'Aiden Glitch' had become a 'Sovereign Error.' The sky over the Himalayas didn't return to blue; it turned into a giant, scrolling wall of golden binary.

[INITIATING 'THE GREAT PURGE']

[ALL DATA WITHIN THE EIGHT REALMS IS MARKED FOR DELETION]

The world began to shake. Not just the ground, but the air, the water, and the sun. Everything that the System had built was being recalled to the Core.

"He's going to destroy everything just to kill me," Aiden said, landing next to his father and Ananya.

Arthur gripped his Living Diamond Blade. "Then we don't wait for him to come to us. We go to him."

"But the Core is in the Ninth Realm," the King of Time said, stepping forward. "The Citadel of Code. No mortal, not even a King, has ever set foot there."

"Then it's a good thing I'm a Porter," Aiden smiled, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "I'm used to going where people tell me I don't belong."

The Breach

Aiden raised his hand toward the sky. The Origin-Ring pulsed. This time, he wasn't breaking a sentinel; he was breaking a doorway.

"I don't need a portal," Aiden roared. "I have the weight of Eight Realms behind me!"

He struck the sky. The golden binary wall cracked. A massive rift, glowing with the raw electricity of the System's inner workings, tore open. This was the entrance to the Citadel of Code—the brain of the universe.

"Ananya, Father... lead the armies," Aiden commanded. "Hold the rift open. I am going inside to face the Architect."

"Not alone," Ananya said, her wings now glowing with a new, independent light. "We are the 'Porter's Line'. We carry the load together."

The Seven Kings stepped forward, kneeling before Aiden. "We are no longer slaves to the System. We follow the Sovereign of Effort."

Into the Engine Room

Aiden led the charge into the rift. The Citadel of Code was a place of impossible geometry. Rivers of liquid gold flowed through the air, and massive gears the size of planets turned in the distance. This was where the "100x Infinite Rewards" were calculated. This was where every life was measured in numbers.

At the center of it all stood a throne made of pure light. On it sat a figure that looked exactly like Aiden, but older, with eyes that held no emotion—only cold, perfect logic.

The Architect.

"You have traveled far for a piece of corrupted data," the Architect spoke, his voice sounding like a billion processors clicking at once. "Do you think your 'Effort' can change the laws of my geometry?"

"I don't want to change your laws," Aiden said, stepping onto the glass-like floor of the Citadel. "I want to delete them."

The Architect stood up, and the entire Citadel began to rearrange itself into a weapon. "Then let us see whose reality is more solid."
