Looking deeper into the mine, he calmed his agitated heart; he understood that if he had stayed there, he might have faced death.
He thought to himself that if a metal energy-dense area contains a treasure of poison element, then a poison element-dense area should also contain a metal element treasure.
Although he didn't understand how a poison treasure could be found in a metal element-rich area and vice versa, he accepted the fact.
"Let's rest for a moment."
He muttered to himself as he closed his eyes. Hours passed as the large cave outside calmed down, although the number of metal hunters guarding the opening of the metal element-rich area increased to five.
Nexus once again climbed on the walls as he slowly moved toward them. Although fighting five at once was dangerous, he still needed to take risks.
Plus, before facing the leader of the metal hunters, he must grind down their number. After all, even if his firepower may be strong enough to kill all the beasts, his mana won't be able to sustain him for such a large-scale battle.
Opening his mouth, he consumed fifty points of mana as he fired another poison arrow. Since this method works, there is no need not to use it.
Since they were gathered together, he felt that it should do quite a bit of damage, as his arrow moved at sonic speed. The metal hunter's body stiffened.
Just as the arrow was about to reach them, their body glowed with a silver hue as a wall of pure iron rose in front of them.
BOOMM!!!
The arrow collided with the iron wall, piercing through it, but a lot of its momentum was also killed. Although the arrow hit a metal hunter hiding behind the wall, it didn't manage to kill it.
A look of suprise appeared on his face, these beasts seemed more intelligent than he had thought. Before he could change his position, a hail of silver bullets rained down on him.
The metal elemental energy carried by the silver bullets cut through the poison element of his poison stealth. He slammed into the wall, flinging his body forward.
He watched as four metal hunters pounced on him, two slashed toward him with their blade-like tails, one punched him with its gorilla-like fist, and another tried to pierce him with it's rhino like head.
He opened his mouth as another poison arrow condensed. Without a moment to waste, he blasted one of the metal hunters to pieces.
With his open mouth, he bit down on the tail that looked like a blade, he raised one of his paws and stopped the gorilla's punch, and with an ungodly motion, slapped the rhino's head with his tail, moving like a whip.
The metal energy in the blade made a cut in his tongue; he felt his bones crackle due to the punch, and a puncture wound appeared on his tail.
Although he suffered damage, he managed to neutralize the attack. The metal hunter with the blade-like tail opened its mouth as it fired a silver bullet at his head, and he moved his head as the bullet entered his shoulder, piercing through his scales.
Biting down on the tail, he moved his head with full force, slamming the blade metal hunter toward the power metal hunter.
The rhino metal hunter also stood up as its energy gathered on its head, extending the height of its horn. It moved forward with full force as it slammed into Nexu's body.
"AWWW!!!!"
Nexus cried out in pain as he slapped the rhino metal hunter with his claw, sending it flying. He looked at the hole in his lower body and opened his mouth.
"Poison Arrow!"
He hissed as he consumed ninety-nine points of mana all at once. The arrow moved at triple the speed of sound as it slammed into the power metal hunter, destroying its body into pieces.
The arrow continued to move as it destroyed the lower half of the blade metal hunter. The metal hunter cried out in pain. Its cries were like stones and metals rubbing against one another.
Without wasting a moment, he pounced on the fallen blade metal hunter, destroying its head with a single stomp. His massive body isn't just for show; its weight is more than enough to crush most beasts.
The rhino metal hunter tried to rise, but he slammed it with his massive tail, the rocks and metals making up its outer layer chipping away as a sound similar to a whip was heard.
Just as he was about to go for a finishing move, he sensed danger. He looked at the metal cave's entrance and saw the metal hunter's leader staring at him. At some point, it had appeared at the metal cave's entrance.
Looking at the injured metal hunters next to him, he understood that the injured metal hunter had called him through some kind of signal.
He looked at the metal hunter's leader; its body was three times bigger than that of an average metal hunter, with its height even larger than his. After all, an average metal hunter is about four meters tall.
The leader's body was even more humanoid than its kin, and the layer of metal surrounding its body was smooth. It seems to be a speed type, as its body was slimmer than that of an average metal hunter.
Three tails dragged behind it, containing a sharp blade attached to it. The sense of danger didn't come from its presence but from what it was doing.
Its mouth was wide open as a silver light was gathering in it; the silver light contained pure metal elemental energy. He understood that if he were hit by such an attack, he would die.
Thus, without a moment to waste, he burned through all his mana as he opened his mouth, a poison arrow formed, but this time with a purple color far deeper than that of before.
