Chapter 69 - Tsunade and the Dungeon

With Shizune carefully tending to her, Tsunade finished her meal until her lips shone faintly with oil.

After the last bite, she exhaled in satisfaction, finally driving away the gnawing hunger—for now.

From losing miserably in the casino yesterday… to falling into a trap during the midnight vault raid… and now ending up imprisoned here—

Everything felt like a dream.

Shizune knelt beside her, quietly packing away the food box. Her eyes were still red from crying, but she looked much calmer now.

At least… her teacher was awake.

"Tch… those damn Uchiha."

Tsunade smacked her lips and tried to move her numb wrists and ankles.

The chains clanged loudly in the stone chamber.

She raised her head and glanced around at the cold walls and dim phosphorescent stones.

Finally, her eyes landed on Shizune's worried face.

"Don't make that expression. We—"

Tap.

A faint footstep echoed from the top of the spiral staircase.

Steady.

Unhurried.

It reverberated softly through the empty passage as it approached.

Shizune's entire body trembled.

She whipped around toward the only entrance and instinctively stepped in front of Tsunade.

Tsunade's eyes sharpened instantly.

Her usual laziness vanished.

Though her chakra was sealed, the instincts of a top-tier shinobi made her body tense like a hunting leopard.

It didn't actually help.

If anything, the tension caused her full, soft curves to ripple beneath her clothing like waves—radiating an overwhelming feminine presence.

The footsteps stopped outside.

Creaaak.

The heavy stone door slowly opened.

Bright light poured into the room.

A tall figure stood at the entrance.

Uchiha Anlan.

Without his crimson armor, he wore a simple dark clan robe, which made his pale complexion stand out even more.

His gaze first fell on Shizune.

He nodded slightly.

His handsome, smiling face made the girl's hostility weaken a little.

Then—

He turned toward Tsunade.

Cold chains bound the kunoichi's pale limbs, suspending her in midair.

Her arms were raised high, stretching her body.

Her green haori tightened across her chest, outlining her full curves.

Her breathing made the fabric rise and fall.

Gravity made her waist appear even slimmer while emphasizing the fullness of her hips.

Her long legs, wrapped in shinobi pants, revealed strong yet elegant muscles.

The legendary Tsunade now looked like a brilliant symbol pinned to the air itself—

Unable to struggle.

A breathtaking and humiliating sight.

Their eyes met.

"My apologies for the poor hospitality, Lady Tsunade."

Anlan spoke calmly.

"I hope you don't mind."

"Don't mind?"

Tsunade narrowed her eyes and let out a cold laugh.

"You Uchiha brat…"

"You went through all this trouble just to invite me to dinner?"

The blood inside the vault box had already proven one thing—

Anlan had known she would come.

It had all been a trap.

But Tsunade had no intention of admitting that out loud.

"Of course not."

Anlan stepped forward into the chamber.

The pale glow of the stones illuminated his young but sharp features.

"I simply think some conversations…"

"Are more enjoyable in a place like this."

"You—!"

Shizune finally couldn't hold back.

She lunged forward with a shout.

But her movements were clumsy and full of openings.

Anlan didn't even glance at her.

The moment she approached—

His wrist flicked casually.

He grabbed her arm and pulled.

A subtle flow of chakra disrupted her balance.

Shizune felt a strange force lift her into the air.

Like a tossed doll—

She flew straight into Tsunade's chest.

"Mm—!"

Tsunade groaned softly as the chains rattled.

Shizune's vision went black for a second.

Then she felt something incredibly soft.

Her face was buried in Tsunade's chest.

She tried to lift her head but felt trapped in a cloud of warmth.

"Shizune… get down!"

Tsunade's voice squeezed through clenched teeth.

She could clearly feel her student's breath.

And worse—

That Uchiha brat was watching.

Even if his expression wasn't lewd—

His gaze made her uncomfortable.

The chains rattled as Tsunade tried to move.

But the motion only emphasized the situation further.

"S-Sorry, Lady Tsunade!"

Shizune's muffled voice came from within.

She finally realized what had happened.

Her face turned bright red.

She scrambled to get up—

But in her panic, her hands kept pressing the wrong places.

Tsunade sucked in sharp breaths while glaring murderously.

Eventually Shizune stumbled free and landed on the ground.

Her earlier courage deflated like a popped balloon.

Still—

She spread her arms and stood in front of Tsunade.

But before she could speak—

Anlan flicked her forehead.

"Ah!"

Shizune lost her balance and fell flat on the cold floor.

She clutched her forehead, eyes watering.

Completely stunned.

"Shizune."

Tsunade sighed.

"Sit down. Don't move."

Shizune looked between her teacher and Anlan.

Then obediently sat beside Tsunade.

Her eyes remained fixed on him in vigilance.

The chamber fell silent again.

Only the faint clink of chains echoed.

"Alright, Uchiha brat."

Tsunade spoke coldly.

"What exactly do you want?"

Even while chained, her presence filled the room with pressure.

Anlan answered calmly.

"You know what imprisoning you means."

"So I'm fully prepared to face the consequences."

Tsunade frowned.

Tobirama-sensei was right…

The Uchiha really are unpredictable lunatics.

She took a breath.

"Stop playing games."

"If you have conditions, say them."

"If I can do it, I will."

"If not—don't waste your time."

"Straightforward. As expected of Tsunade."

Anlan stepped closer.

The distance between them shrank.

He could smell her scent—sweat mixed with a faint natural fragrance.

Tsunade didn't look away.

Her gaze remained sharp.

"First, allow me to formally introduce myself."

"I am Uchiha Anlan."

"Commander of the Uchiha Red Guard."

"And… the future Uchiha clan leader."

Tsunade's pupils shrank.

Future clan leader?!

Her mind raced.

Had the Uchiha decided to rebel?

Was this the beginning of a full conflict with Konoha?

Anlan seemed to read her thoughts.

He smiled faintly.

"No need to worry."

"I have no intention of fighting Konoha head-on."

"That kind of thing is exhausting and pointless."

Shizune sat frozen.

Her brain felt overloaded.

"Capturing you was simply to ask for a small favor."

Anlan reached into his pouch.

He pulled out a sealing scroll.

After releasing it—

A sealed syringe appeared in his hand.

Inside the glass tube was a dark liquid.

Black.

Thick.

Almost like coagulated blood.

But strangely alive.

Tsunade's eyes locked onto it.

As the world's greatest medical ninja—

She instantly sensed something wrong.

Anlan clapped once.

From behind him, Uzumaki Minako stepped forward.

She dragged a bound Kirigakure prisoner into the room.

The man was badly injured.

His joints were broken.

A gag filled his mouth.

Minako dropped him to the ground and stepped back respectfully.

Tsunade frowned.

Seeing the syringe—

She immediately thought of someone.

Her former teammate.

Hiruko.

A man who had betrayed Konoha for bloodline experiments.

Cold fear crept up her spine.

"Kid…"

"Don't walk the wrong path."

"This is merely an observation experiment."

Anlan said calmly.

"Please watch carefully."

He knelt beside the Mist ninja.

Then—

He injected the syringe into the prisoner's neck.

The Dead Body Virus flowed into his bloodstream.

For a few seconds—

Nothing happened.

Then suddenly—

The prisoner's eyes bulged.

Blood vessels burst across them.

His pupils turned gray.

A horrible choking sound escaped his throat.

His muscles convulsed violently.

Veins bulged under his skin.

His body twisted unnaturally.

"Ghhh… AAAAA—!"

A monstrous growl escaped his throat.

His once fearful eyes were replaced by dead white.

Despite his broken limbs—

He began writhing and biting like a beast.

Trying to attack Anlan.

This was no longer a wounded ninja.

Not even a dying man.

It was a monster.

Tsunade had never seen anything like it.

"What… what is this?!"

She shouted.

Shizune covered her mouth in terror.

Minako stared in shock.

Anlan simply watched the transformation calmly.

Then he looked at Tsunade.

"This is the small problem I want your help analyzing."

"A virus from an unknown realm."

"One capable of twisting life itself."

"Enough!"

Tsunade shouted.

The chains rattled violently as she struggled.

"Stop this madness!"

"You think I'll help you create something like this?!"

"Listen carefully, Uchiha Anlan!"

"Even if you kill me—"

"Even if you grind my bones to dust—"

"I will never research such an abomination!"

"Not in this lifetime!"

"Don't even dream of it!"
