Cherreads

Chapter 20 - Stick That Broke the Guild

The golden barrier still hummed overhead like a prison made of light.

Reon Fairmont stood in the middle of the blood-soaked hall, chest heaving, blood running down his ribs in steady rivers. His black shirt was shredded. His left arm was open from elbow to wrist. Every heartbeat sent fresh red pattering onto the marble.

drip… drip… drip…

Twenty fresh guards were already charging, spears lowered, faces twisted with rage. Vohn Celestine screamed from the platform, voice cracking.

"Kill him! Kill all three right now!"

The guild master pointed a shaking finger.

"Take him alive if you can! Chain the bastard!"

Reon's crimson eyes narrowed.

He didn't wait.

Super Dash + Enhanced Vision — Activated.

The world slammed into slow motion.

Guards' boots lifted off the floor in lazy, drawn-out steps. Spears drifted forward like they were pushing through honey. Voices stretched into low, distorted groans. The air itself felt thick and heavy.

But it cost.

[Anium: 58,685 units → 58,625 units]

Cost: 60 units per minute

Reon felt the burn in his veins, but he didn't care.

He thought one more command.

The black dragon gloves on his hands flared with fresh fire. Scales glowed molten red. The gloves had upgraded to level 2 the moment the system came online — edges now burning like living blades.

He took one step.

The first guard never even saw death coming.

Reon's flaming fist slammed into the man's chest. Ribs exploded outward with a wet crunch. Blood sprayed in slow, perfect arcs, droplets hanging in the air like rubies. The guard's mouth opened in a scream that would take seconds to finish.

Reon was already moving.

He danced between them like a ghost wrapped in fire and rage.

Every punch peeled skin. Every backhand ripped muscle. One guard's face was torn clean off in a single swipe — the skin flapping away like wet paper before it hit the floor with a heavy slap.

[Anium: 58,625 units → 58,725 units]

[XP: 0 / 1200 → 210 / 1200]

The system's voice purred in his head — soft, girly, and a little too pleased with herself.

"Mmm, that felt good, didn't it, Master? But you're still too slow. Why don't you turn on the new skill I gave you? It'll make this so much more fun~"

Reon snarled under his breath.

"No. Not that one."

The system giggled, light and bratty.

"Too bad. I already did it for you."

Reon felt it instantly.

His pants burst open with a loud *rip*. His cock sprang free — half a meter long, thick as a man's wrist, harder than steel, glowing with the same red-black energy as his gloves. It stood straight out like a living weapon, veins pulsing, tip already leaking a thin trail of fire.

The entire guild saw it.

For one frozen heartbeat, the hall went dead silent.

Then the laughter started.

Hunters doubled over, clutching their stomachs. Recording crystals shook in mid-air. Even the guild master's face twisted from rage to disbelief.

One guard dropped his spear, laughing so hard tears came to his eyes.

"What the actual fuck is that thing?!"

Another roared, "Is that his dick?! Holy shit, it's bigger than my sword!"

Shizu's eyes went wide. She clapped a hand over her mouth, but a shocked, half-hysterical laugh still escaped.

"Reon… you have got to be fucking kidding me…"

The system purred again, clearly enjoying herself.

"See? Now you have a weapon that never misses. Go on, Master. Use it."

Reon's face burned with humiliation and rage, but the power was real.

He thought one simple command.

The glowing cock extended like a whip — three meters… four meters… five meters long — hard as diamond, sharp as a blade.

He swung it like a sword.

The first guard who had been laughing had his balls crushed in a single upward strike. The impact made a wet *crunch* that echoed through the hall. The man's scream was so high-pitched it barely sounded human.

Reon didn't stop.

He spun, the flaming length whipping through the air. Another guard's thigh was sliced open to the bone. A third had his entire lower jaw ripped off when the glowing tip caught him under the chin.

Blood sprayed in thick arcs.

Bones snapped.

Men screamed.

The laughter died instantly and turned into pure terror.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING?!" a hunter roared as he tried to back away.

Reon's voice was low and vicious.

"It's the last thing you'll ever feel."

He extended the cock again — six meters now — and drove it straight through a guard's stomach, lifting the man off the ground like a skewer. The guard screamed, blood pouring from his mouth, legs kicking uselessly in the air.

Reon flicked his wrist.

The glowing length twisted inside the man's body, shredding organs from the inside.

The guard's scream cut off in a wet gurgle.

[Anium: 58,725 units → 59,025 units]

[XP: 210 / 1200 → 510 / 1200]

The system moaned softly in his head.

"Mmm… good boy. Keep going. I love watching you break them."

Shizu couldn't look away, face flushed, eyes wide.

"Reon… you're actually… using your dick as a weapon… what the fuck…"

Even Vohn, still half-paralyzed, stared in horrified fascination.

Reon moved like lightning in slow motion.

Every swing, every thrust of the glowing cock destroyed another man. One guard had his balls burst open like overripe fruit when the tip slammed upward between his legs. Another had his Stick sliced clean off at the base, the severed piece flying through the air still twitching.

Blood painted the marble floor in wide, wet streaks.

Reon laughed — low, dark, and completely unhinged.

"You wanted a show? Here's your fucking show."

He extended the cock again, wrapping it around a guard's neck like a noose and squeezing until the man's head popped off with a wet crack.

The body dropped.

[Anium: 59,025 units → 59,425 units]

[XP: 510 / 1200 → 810 / 1200]

The guild master was crawling backward on his hands and knees, face pale as death.

"No… no… stay away from me… you fucking freak!"

Reon stepped over the bodies, cock still glowing and extended like a victorious blade.

He grabbed the guild master by the throat and lifted him off the ground with one hand.

"You wanted to chain me?" Reon whispered, voice calm and terrifying. "You wanted to take my girl?"

He slammed the man against the wall so hard the marble cracked.

Then he extended the cock again — slow this time — and pressed the burning tip right against the guild master's crotch.

The man's eyes widened in pure terror.

"Please… no… not there… I'll give you anything… please…"

Reon smiled.

"Too late."

He thrust forward.

The glowing length punched straight through the man's balls and dick in one brutal motion, coming out the other side of his body with a spray of blood and shredded meat.

The guild master screamed — a high, broken sound that echoed through the entire hall.

Reon twisted the cock inside him, shredding everything.

Then he pulled back, letting the ruined man drop to the floor in a twitching, bleeding heap.

Vohn was the last one standing.

The Celestial Noble tried to run, but Reon was already there.

He extended the cock like a whip and wrapped it around Vohn's waist, yanking him close.

Vohn's eyes were wide with horror.

"You… you monster…"

Reon leaned in, voice soft.

"You touched what's mine."

He extended the cock again — longer, harder, sharper — and drove it straight between Vohn's legs with surgical precision.

The tip punched through both balls and the base of his dick in one clean, devastating strike.

Vohn's scream was the loudest yet.

Reon held him there, suspended, the glowing length still buried inside him, twisting slowly.

"Smile for the crystals," Reon whispered. "You're going to be famous."

He pulled back with a wet schlick, leaving Vohn collapsing to the floor, hands clutching the ruined mess between his legs, blood pouring out in thick rivers.

The hall was silent except for the wet sounds of dying men and the soft hum of the recording crystals.

Reon stood in the middle of the carnage, chest heaving, cock still glowing and extended like a victorious blade.

Shizu stared at him, face flushed, breathing hard.

"Reon… you… you actually just… with your dick…"

She shook her head, half-laughing, half-horrified.

"We need to go. Seryth needs us. Now."

Reon retracted the glowing length. It shrank back to normal size, still hard, still leaking a thin trail of fire and blood.

He grabbed Shizu with one arm and Seryth's unconscious body with the other.

The anti-magic barrier flickered once — the system's new power already pushing against it.

Reon looked at the sea of broken bodies, the blood, the screaming, the recording crystals still floating and filming.

He smiled.

"Tell the world what happens when you touch what's mine."

Then he kicked the main doors open and ran out into the afternoon light, carrying both girls with him.

Behind him, the guild hall was nothing but a slaughterhouse.

[LEVEL UP!]

Reon Fairmont – Level 2 Achieved

The golden panel pulsed with new power.

The afternoon sun slammed into his face, bright and unforgiving. He didn't slow down. Shizu was pressed tight against his left side, silver-blue hair whipping across his shoulder. Seryth's unconscious body was cradled in his right arm, pink hair trailing like spilled silk, her red-gold armor still warm against his chest.

His legs burned. His ribs screamed with every step. Blood still dripped from the deep gash across his side, soaking Shizu's teal crop top.

He ran.

Not toward the main city. Not toward any known healer. He ran toward the first patch of green he saw — a wide grassy field just beyond the guild district, the kind of place factory workers used for quick breaks when they couldn't afford to go anywhere else.

In the middle of that field, one ordinary family was having a picnic.

Six people. A father, a mother, three daughters, and one young son. They had a big checkered blanket spread out under the sun, baskets of simple food, a pitcher of cold juice, and the kind of easy laughter that only comes on a rare day off.

Reon didn't ask permission.

He sprinted straight into their circle and skidded to a stop, boots tearing up grass. Shizu stumbled beside him. Seryth's head lolled against his chest.

The family froze mid-bite.

The father — mid-forties, strong build, calluses on his hands from years of factory work — shot to his feet, eyes wide.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Kid, what the hell is going on?!"

Reon's voice came out rough and desperate, chest still heaving.

"Don't move. Please. I need your help. My friend… she's dying. I just need somewhere safe for a minute. That's all."

The mother's eyes went wide at the blood on Reon's clothes, at Seryth's pale face, at Shizu's torn crop top.

"Oh gods… what happened to you three? Sit her down, quickly! Gently!"

The oldest daughter (sixteen, sharp-eyed) dropped her sandwich and scooted over, clearing space on the blanket.

"Is she breathing? She looks really bad…"

The middle daughter (thirteen) stared with open curiosity.

The youngest daughter (nine) clutched her doll tighter.

The little boy (six) stared at Shizu with big, starry eyes and immediately tried to flirt in the most innocent way possible.

"Wow… you're really pretty even when you're all messy. Are you a princess? You can sit next to me if you want!"

Shizu blinked, still half in shock from the guild massacre, then let out a tired, disbelieving laugh.

"Kid… not the time."

Reon ignored the boy and looked straight at the father, voice urgent.

"She's got a fever that won't break. She's burning up. I was heading to a medical center but everything's too far. Please. I'll pay you. I'll do anything. Just let me use something cool for her."

The father rubbed the back of his neck, clearly overwhelmed but not hostile.

"Cool? You mean… you need Anium?"

Reon's head snapped up.

"You have Anium?"

The father nodded slowly, already reaching into a small leather pouch at his belt.

"I'm a shift supervisor at the eastern refinery. We process raw ore into crystals. I keep a small emergency pouch at home for accidents at the factory. It's not much, but it's pure. Not the watered-down junk they sell on the street."

He looked at Seryth's shivering form, then at Reon's desperate eyes.

"Look… I don't know what kind of trouble you're in, but the girl doesn't look like she's got time. Bring her over to the blanket. My wife knows basic first aid. We'll do what we can."

The mother was already moving, clearing more space on the blanket and pulling out a clean cloth.

"Lay her down gently, love. Easy now."

Reon lowered Seryth onto the blanket. Her pink hair fanned out. She was burning hot to the touch.

Shizu knelt beside her, hands hovering uselessly.

"I can't heal her properly with the barrier still messing with magic… and she's getting worse."

The father crushed one small glowing red crystal between two stones, poured a little water from the picnic jug into a wooden cup, and stirred until the water glowed faint red.

"Drink this slowly," he told Reon, handing him the cup. "Hold her head up."

Reon lifted Seryth's head gently. Her golden eyes fluttered open for a second — unfocused, pained.

"Reon…?" she whispered, voice weak.

"Shh. Drink. We're getting you fixed."

He brought the cup to her lips. She sipped. The glow spread across her face almost instantly. Her breathing evened out. The fever didn't vanish, but it dropped.

The mother smiled softly.

"She'll be stable for a few hours. Long enough to reach a proper healer in the main city."

The oldest daughter leaned in, curious but gentle.

"What happened to her? And… why do you smell like blood and smoke?"

Reon tensed.

Shizu answered for him, voice sharp but tired.

"Long story. Some Bad people are After us. We're trying to get away from them."

The little boy was still staring at Shizu with starry eyes.

"You're really pretty. Are you a knight princess? You can sit next to me if you want."

Again,

Shizu let out a soft, exhausted laugh despite everything.

"Kid… you have no idea how bad the timing is right now."

The father watched Reon carefully.

"You're not from around here, are you? This whole area is the factory district. Guilds, cafes, everything is here because the workers live here. No one wants to run back and forth to the main city every day. The big nobles don't come here unless they need something processed."

Reon's mind was spinning.

He had thought this was the city. He had no idea it was just the worker zone.

The system's voice suddenly spoke in his head — soft, girly, a little teasing after the update.

"Master~ You really didn't know? How cute. Anium crystals and the raw Anium you carry inside you are completely different. Crystals have to be purified, manufactured, and liquefied before they can be used safely. Your internal Anium is 100% pure. But to transfer it to someone else… well… the process is a little lewd. Mouth to mouth. Mouth to pussy. Pussy to dick. Very animalistic. Very intimate. That's why you need a contract first. Without it, the effect is almost nothing."

Reon's face burned.

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

The system giggled.

"I already told you about the contract, remember? You have to make one with her if you want to help her properly. Otherwise the Anium won't do much."

Shizu noticed Reon's expression change and narrowed her eyes.

"Reon? What is it? The system saying something weird again?"

Reon shook his head, trying to focus.

"Not now."

He looked at the family.

"Thank you. Really. But we can't stay. We have to move."

The mother packed a small bundle of food and pressed it into Shizu's hands.

"Take this at least. And be careful. Whatever you're running from… it doesn't look small."

The little boy waved enthusiastically at Shizu.

"Come back and have a picnic with us when you're not busy being a knight princess!"

Shizu gave a tired smile and ruffled his hair.

"Maybe someday, kid."

Reon lifted Seryth again, more gently this time. She was lighter now, breathing steadier.

He looked at the father one last time.

"I won't forget this."

Then he turned and started running again, Shizu right beside him.

Behind them, the family watched the three figures disappear down the road.

The father sighed.

"Whatever trouble they're in… I hope they make it."

The mother leaned against his shoulder.

"Poor kids. Looked like they've been through hell."

Reon kept running, Seryth in his arms, Shizu at his side.

In his head, the system spoke again, voice silky and teasing.

"Master… the first mission after my update is ready. Go to the Vossara Clan. Cure the plague that's killing them. That's why Seryth is like this. That's the real reason she's suffering."

Reon's jaw tightened.

He finally understood why Seryth had risked everything.

And he finally knew where they had to go next.

The real fight wasn't over.

It had only just begun.
