"Boring," Enel said lazily, looking down at the panting Queen below.
Queen was about to explode from sheer frustration.
"Damn you and your lightning!!!" he roared, suddenly stretching his neck.
"BOOM," just like that. Really, just "BOOM."
His head separated from his body, it really did, and shot toward Enel at an incredible speed, jaws wide open.
"Plesiosaur: Execution Strangle—!!"
However, Enel didn't even bother to lift an eyebrow.
"BOOM—!"
Within Rhett's blood mist domain, Enel's "Mantra" covered the entire field. Not only could he toy with Queen, but he was also, as mentioned before, the second-best battlefield controller after Rhett.
"Damn it—!!!" Queen was so furious smoke billowed from his body. His neck was practically twisted into a pretzel.
"You bastard!!! Fight me if you've got the guts!!!"
Enel finally looked a bit annoyed at this.
"So noisy."
He slowly stood up. The thunder drums hummed, blinding lightning coiling around his body.
"Since you want to die so badly—"
"God's Judgment: Divine Punishment."
"BOOM—!!!"
A thunder pillar connecting heaven and earth descended, completely engulfing Queen.
The cumulative damage from days of fighting finally erupted under this single blow.
When the lightning faded, Queen was completely charred black, his mechanical armor streaming black smoke, his neck bent to one side.
Enel let out a breath. He hadn't been as relaxed as he pretended to be.
"Finally done. Tough bastard."
With that, he transformed into lightning and vanished, heading to other parts of the battlefield to continue "controlling."
Queen could only lie in the rubble, shaking with rage. With Queen's defeat, the scales of victory had completely tipped. Though that wasn't quite accurate. The scales had already started tipping the moment Rhett wounded Charlotte Linlin.
Elsewhere, the fight between Marco and Katakuri had also reached its climax.
"Azure Phoenix: Undying Bird Dance!" Marco's phantom clones made even Katakuri's future sight struggle to keep up. His body was still a beat too slow, and ultimately he was driven into the ground by a Conqueror's Haki-coated kick.
"Cough...!" Katakuri coughed up blood, but soon his mochi ability re-formed his body.
"Not done yet!" he growled, thrusting his trident violently. Marco dodged, but his shoulder was still sliced open, a deep, bloody gash.
Yet the blue flames healed the wound. Marco grinned: "Bring it on!"
At the center of the battlefield, Kaido had fallen into an unprecedented crisis.
Whitebeard's Tremor-Tremor power, Linlin's Napoleon, and Rhett's blood mist interference combined had left him barely able to breathe.
"Damn... at this rate..."
He suddenly erupted his Conqueror's Haki, forcibly deflecting Linlin's slash. But Whitebeard had already charged up his attack. Murakumogiri, wrapped in tremor waves, slashed down viciously.
"Sea Quake: Heaven's Collapse!"
"BOOM—!!!"
Kaido's dragon body was smashed into the ground. The entire island cracked open into a massive chasm from this single blow.
Blood gushed from the dragon's mouth. Even Kaido's consciousness flickered briefly.
"Not done yet!" Linlin cackled, raising her greatsword again.
"Zeus! Prometheus!"
The thundercloud and the sun merged, a terrifying combination of lightning and fire descending from the sky, striking Kaido directly.
Kaido gritted his teeth, forcibly activating the power of his dragon fruit, spewing dragon flames in a desperate attempt to block.
But then—
"Mist God Style: Blood Dragon's Bite!"
Rhett's Black Tide Greatsword stabbed into the ground. The blood mist transformed into dozens of vicious blood dragons, biting into Kaido's dragon body from all directions.
"AAAAGH—!!!"
Kaido let out a pained roar. His dragon scales corroded, his life force frantically drained.
"Poor Kaido," Rhett's voice dripped with mockery.
After unleashing his technique, Rhett leaned back gracefully on his throne, watching as Linlin, just as he had predicted, threw herself at Kaido.
His fingers danced lightly, like a puppeteer pulling strings, guiding this absurd slaughter.
Whenever Kaido tried to explain, Rhett used the mist to distort his voice into even more piercing mockery.
Whenever Linlin showed a moment of hesitation, Rhett made the "Rhett" in her illusions provoke her further.
"Truly... mad," Rhett chuckled. His blood-red eyes reflected the absurd scene of two Emperors tearing each other apart.
In this psychological game, he had long since completely toyed with Charlotte Linlin's soul under his thumb.
Meanwhile, Enel's lightning flashed and his figure instantly vanished. Queen's biting attack hit nothing.
"Too slow," Enel's voice came from behind Queen. He sat cross-legged in mid-air, propping his head on one hand, casually tapping the thunder drums with his fingertips.
"20,000,000 Volt: Thunderbird."
"Chirp—!"
The lightning transformed into a giant bird spreading its wings, instantly piercing through Queen's body. Electricity surged wildly across Queen's metal armor, sparks flying everywhere.
"AAAAHHH—!!" Queen convulsed all over, but soon, relying on his super recovery ability, his neck reattached with a click.
"I'm a cyborg! This level of lightning—"
"Hm?" Enel raised an eyebrow, then suddenly smiled with amusement.
"How about this, then?"
He lightly snapped his fingers.
"Thunder Judgment."
Queen assumed a full defensive posture.
He was determined to make this "god"-obsessed, muttering weirdo pay the price. He waited and waited, but no lightning came down.
"What the hell?!" He carefully moved his arms, just a crack, just a peek.
Only to see Enel casually using "Mantra" to sense the entire battlefield, lazily shooting a bolt of lightning at Beast Pirates grunts trying to ambush samurai in the distance.
"Bastard, what are you doing?! That's so disrespectful!" Queen was in the middle of angrily berating Enel's behavior when he took his eyes off him for one second.
"Hey, where are you looking?" Enel's voice suddenly sounded right in Queen's ear.
"Wha—?!"
"100,000,000 Volt: Thunder Dragon."
"BOOM—!!!"
Queen's mechanical body was completely engulfed in lightning. Current rampaged wildly through the gaps in his armor. His internal circuit systems began to overload, billowing thick black smoke.
"BZZZT—!"
Queen's mechanical voice alarms went off like crazy. He roared in fury, his neck separating again, his snake-like head snapping madly at Enel.
"Don't think these little tricks can beat me!!!"
But Enel just smiled scornfully, his form turning into lightning again, vanishing into Rhett's blood mist as lightning raged within it.
"Idiot," his voice came from all directions, as if he was everywhere.
"You think I'm seriously fighting you?"
Queen's mechanical eyes spun wildly, but they couldn't track Enel at all.
Meanwhile, Enel was already hovering at a higher altitude, propping his head on one hand, using the other to casually release lightning, precisely striking enemies all across the battlefield.
