When Ash and the gang rode the limo into James's castle-like estate, the first thing they saw upon entering the grand hall was two coffins. Their mouths twitched collectively. These two... they really went there...
Seeing Ash's expression, the old butler knew Ash had instantly deduced the Master and Madam were faking their deaths. But the show had to go on. The security team had already informed him that James had arrived. Now was the time to test his acting skills.
"Alas! Ever since Young Master James ran away from home, the Master and Madam washed their faces with tears every day, praying to find him. But as you know, Young Master James has been missing this whole time. Overcome with grief, the Master and Madam passed away..."
The old butler trailed off, letting the coffins in the hall do the talking. However, Ash, Meowth (wait, no, Meowth isn't here yet), Pikachu, and Blissey—the four who knew the truth—were utterly speechless. As Ash was about to say something, he noticed the butler furiously winking at him and gesturing toward the ceiling. Ash immediately caught on, stepping forward.
"Sigh, I never imagined it would end like this. To think our last meeting would truly be our last. Now, you are separated by the veil of life and death..." Ash solemnly took a bouquet from his bag. "Old man, may I offer these flowers?"
"Of course not. Master Ash, you are a dear friend to the Master and Madam. They would be thrilled to know you offered them flowers. Please." Seeing Ash cooperate so smoothly, the old butler stepped aside, secretly marveling at Ash's acting chops. Ash walked up to the two coffins and placed the bouquet down. "Sigh... May you rest in peace. Since your dying wish was to see James, I will help fulfill it."
"Master Ash! If possible, please mobilize all your resources to find Young Master James within 24 hours! If Young Master James does not marry his fiancée within 24 hours, the entire estate and fortune will be donated to the foundation!"
Ash stared blankly as the old butler whipped out a literal megaphone to shout those words. Are you terrified James won't hear you? Ash's mouth twitched uncontrollably.
"Alright. I will do my best..."
After exiting the estate, Misty, entirely confused by Ash and Blissey's bizarre performance, finally asked, "Ash, what exactly is going on? It feels like there's some hidden story here."
"Well... Misty, I don't really know how to explain it. But if you just wait a moment, you'll understand..."
Just as Ash spoke, three figures fell from the sky. Seeing the Team Rocket trio, Ash sighed helplessly. "James, your parents..."
"NO! I don't remember anything! My head hurts so much!" Before Ash could even finish, James clutched his head, putting on a highly exaggerated display of agony. Ash walked over and firmly grabbed James's head. "Amnesia, huh? I actually have a great remedy for that..."
Ash pulled out several thick needles and glared at James. "Needle therapy, perhaps?"

With a swift 'Wife's Discipline' punch from Lara, Ash face-planted into the ground, smoking and motionless, while Eevee trotted over to lick his face. "Honestly, get a grip. This isn't the time for your antics. Get down to business," Lara scolded, her own head perfectly fine.
Misty looked at Lara's forehead, then at Ash, who was still smoking on the ground. Lara smiled and explained, "Don't worry, Ash is fine. As for me, I guess I just have a hard head." Misty and Suzie looked at Ash, who was still flat on the ground, not entirely convinced he was "fine."
Meanwhile, under the relentless interrogation of Jessie and Meowth, James stubbornly stuck to his amnesia routine. But Jessie and Meowth saw right through his terrible acting. "I don't care who you are right now! Whether you're an amnesiac or an alien, you're going to marry that fiancée!" Jessie grabbed James while Meowth warned Misty and the others, "Listen here, this is internal Team Rocket business! Don't interfere!"
Seeing James being manhandled by Jessie and Meowth, Misty and the girls felt a bit of sympathy but ultimately stayed out of it. After all, getting James to attend his parents' funeral was the right thing to do.
However, when they saw the disguises Jessie and Meowth put on, Misty and the girls were completely speechless. Suzie stared at the two of them—dressed in entirely black outfits with sheer black veils over their faces—and asked, "Are you sure about this disguise?"
"Don't worry! Psychologically, we've perfectly manipulated his persona! No one will recognize us!"
And so, with Misty and the gang watching in disbelief, Jessie and Meowth marched James up to knock on the estate's door. The old butler opened it, took one look at James, Jessie, and Meowth's ridiculous getup, and felt his blood pressure skyrocket.
Do you think I'm a blind StarCraft player?! Whatever... for Young Master James, I'll endure it! Ultimately, with the Oscar-worthy butler pretending to be legally blind, the Team Rocket trio entered James's home.
