"James, you glue the teeth on that Raticate over there. Jessie, you assist him... don't worry about the Raticate biting, its teeth are already pretty ruined."
Under Ash's friendly (threatening), well-intentioned (coercive) persuasion (intimidation), Jessie and James became Ash's temporary assistants. What left James speechless was that the first task Ash gave him was actually gluing a Raticate's teeth back together?!
Looking at the medical adhesive in his hands, James asked somewhat speechlessly, "Is it really okay to use this? This seems really unreliable..."
"Don't worry, this adhesive is specifically for Pokémon. Whether it's mending exoskeletons or reattaching horns, it works perfectly, so stop yapping and get to work! Bring the next patient over immediately. If possible, hand them over to Suzie to treat. Prioritize the severe cases! Hurry!"
"Chansey!"
Hearing Ash's orders, the two Chansey in charge of assisting nodded and wheeled over a severely injured Nidoking. After assessing the Nidoking's injuries, Ash said, "Prepare for minor surgery. Starting now, no one is allowed to interrupt. If anyone comes causing trouble, throw them out immediately. Arbok!"
"Chaa!"
"Come assist me. This surgery is a bit dangerous, I need your paralyzing toxin to reduce Nidoking's pain."
With that, Ash led another Chansey and Arbok, wheeling Nidoking into the operating room. Dr. Proctor, seeing Ash taking charge of the Nidoking's surgery, told Suzie and the others, "Alright, Ash is handling the most troublesome case. The rest should be much easier..."
BOOM!
Before Dr. Proctor could finish his sentence, an explosion rang out outside the emergency center. Subsequently, Ash's furious roar came from the operating room.
"I said we need to keep it quiet in here! Anyone who has free time, go out and deal with it! Make those blind pieces of trash shut up!"
Hearing Ash's roar, Dr. Proctor shrugged and said, "Wow, looks like Ash is truly angry this time. Making Black Jack angry is not a good idea~"
"Chansey!" (Leave it to me. You guys keep treating the patients.)
Ash's Chansey glanced outside, waved her hand, and went out first. Misty, Suzie, and Lara, who were about to go help, were stopped by Meowth.
"Your mission right now is to assist with the treatments. Leave the situation out there to Chansey."
Seeing Chansey go out, Jessie thought for a moment, then suddenly stood up and called out to Arbok, who had mostly recovered. "Hmph, honestly, I never thought there'd be a day I'd act like a good guy. My mom would definitely roast me if she saw this. Let's go, Arbok. It's time for us to help out."
"Chaa!"
Seeing this, James couldn't help but say, "Uh... well, since it's come to this, we might as well go help too. Weezing, let's go!"
Team Rocket's Meowth, seeing Jessie and James going out to help, touched the coin Ash gave him and said, "Honestly, I'll just consider this paying back the favor for this coin. I'm going too!"
When Jessie and the others got outside, they saw Chansey facing down a group of people. Jessie and James were all too familiar with the uniforms these people were wearing: the Pokémon Hunter syndicate.
"Hmph, I didn't expect it to be the Hunter syndicate again. Then there's no problem working together this time."
Jessie looked at the Hunter syndicate with a displeased scoff. The Hunters on the opposite side saw Jessie's group and said, "Heh heh. From now on, our Hunter syndicate is taking over all the Pokémon here! The police forces in this area have all been lured away. If you don't want to suffer, you better behave!"
However, as soon as this guy finished speaking, his own captain punched him in the stomach.
"Idiot! We don't have time to waste words with them! The decoy unit is almost completely wiped out! Damn it, based on the scale of the decoy unit, we should be the decoys. Are those Jennys and the Continental Hotel guys really that tough?"
Looking at the seemingly anxious hunters across from her, Jessie patted Chansey and said, "Looks like they're backed into a corner. Let's finish them off quickly."
"Chansey!" (No problem.)
Hearing Jessie's words, the Hunter Captain said, "Hmph, as medical personnel, you still have to protect the Pokémon. I'll just attack the hospital directly and see what you do! Let's go, Flygon, use Dragon Breath!"
"Flygon!"
As soon as the leader's Flygon emerged, it unleashed a Dragon Breath at Chansey and the clinic. However, Chansey simply waved her hand gently, and a multi-layered Light Screen blocked Flygon's attack.
Seeing his Flygon's attack neutralized, the Hunter Captain immediately ordered the people beside him, "What are you standing around for?! Attack together! I brought you all with your Houndour so we could attack together!"
Rebuked by their leader, the others snapped out of it and immediately ordered their Houndour to use Flamethrower.
However, no matter how many attacks there were, they were all easily blocked by Chansey. But just as the Hunter Captain said, Chansey was currently forced to focus on defense.
However, you must remember that Chansey wasn't the only one there right now.
"Great job, Chansey. Go, Arbok, use Glare!"
"Chaa!"
With a single Glare from Arbok, both Flygon and the Houndour were instantly paralyzed. James seized the opportunity and shouted, "Now! Weezing, use Poison Gas!"
"Weezing!"
As Weezing spewed a massive cloud of toxic gas, the Pokémon Hunters and their Houndour all started coughing violently.
"Meow, our turn! The terrifying stretcher carts, let's go!"
Seeing James take control of the situation, Meowth pushed a few stretcher carts forward and kicked them hard.
The stretcher carts, having been modified by Team Rocket, somehow had mechanical arms attached to them. Although the Houndour all managed to dodge, their Trainers were out of luck. While they were busy coughing, they were snatched up by these stretcher carts.
"Excellent! Arbok, use Poison Sting into the gas! Show these guys who they're messing with!"
"Chaa!"
Hearing Jessie's command, Arbok didn't even look inside, just started spewing Poison Stings. Following that, a few angry yells came from within the gas cloud, followed by a scream.
"Wait! Don't use fire, Houndour!"
Hearing that scream, Chansey immediately stepped in front of everyone and activated the ultimate defensive skill Ash had taught her: A.T. Field. As the diamond-shaped defensive field expanded to its maximum, a massive explosion completely detonated.
BOOM!
Under the massive impact of the gas explosion, Chansey's diamond-shaped shield flickered continuously. However, Chansey showed no signs of strain, and just to be safe, she waved her hand again, deploying several more diamond-shaped shields.
When the explosion ended, Chansey finally deactivated the defense. As for the Pokémon Hunters, they had all been knocked unconscious by the blast.
