Professor Oak and researcher Bill continuously observed Ash's two Kabutops, truly unable to imagine that these beings were from such a distant past.
"It really is a massive discovery. Perhaps they've been slumbering underground this whole time and were only just discovered. This was one long nap."
Researcher Bill was holding a Kabuto, constantly observing it. Being handled like this, the Kabuto had its own temper and was planning to use Absorb to teach this researcher Bill a lesson.
"Here. Kabuto, let him look."
Ash fed a piece of beef to the Kabuto, and only then did it smile. Meanwhile, the Kabutops were drooling as they looked at the beef next to Ash. But even though they really wanted to eat, they wouldn't act on their own. They had been defeated by Ash's Charizard and Meowth, so to them, Ash's existence was their leader. Hearing Ash's words, the two Kabutops immediately started scarfing down the food. After all, they had been slumbering for so long, their stomachs were completely empty. Professor Oak also used this opportunity to observe how the Kabutops ate, considering it a decent research topic.
After letting the two Kabutops start eating, Ash looked at the Aerodactyl nearby and asked:

Aerodactyl rubbed its stomach, then looked at Pikachu, Meowth, Chansey, Absol, Dragonite beside Ash, and Momma Bewear, who was currently cracking her knuckles. As a whole fresh roasted cow was brought out, Aerodactyl's drool instantly became a waterfall. Seeing that Aerodactyl still hadn't just pounced on the beef despite this, Ash was finally completely satisfied. If Aerodactyl had dared to pounce, what would have greeted it was a brutal beatdown.

With a happy roar, Aerodactyl began to feast just like the two Kabutops. Professor Oak diligently recorded their eating habits in detail.

Hearing Ash say this, Professor Oak, who had been observing Aerodactyl tearing into the meat up close, embarrassedly scratched his head and said: "Ahahaha... it's just for a better observation. Sorry."
Watching Professor Oak act like this, Ash could only sigh helplessly. He just hoped Professor Oak wouldn't get bitten after taking those Omanyte and Kabuto back.
That night, Absol quietly gazed at the moonlight. Ash walked over holding a jar of honey and said, "Care to join me?"
"Sol!"
Ash then sat down beside Absol, took out a piece of bread, spread honey on it, handed it to Absol, and said, "Try it. Beedrill and I just made this."
"Om nom!"
Absol took the bread in its mouth and ate silently while watching the moonlight with Ash.
"What a beautiful moon. If we were in Hoenn, we'd probably be watching it with Sharpedo, Linoone, and Mightyena, right?"
"Sol..." (Yeah...)
"Ahem. Excuse me, is this seat taken?"
"Pika-pi!" (I get my usual spot!)
"Chansey!" (I want to sit in Daddy Ash's lap!)
Just as Ash and Absol were admiring the moon together, Meowth walked over carrying a roasted fish, along with Pikachu and Chansey, joining the moon-viewing ranks.
Simultaneously, Ash's other Pokémon began to slowly gather around, each finding a spot to enjoy this rare moonlight with Ash.
Sitting in Ash's lap, Meowth looked at the full moon and smiled, saying, "Meow. Honestly, it suddenly got crowded. I thought it was just the few of us who liked enjoying the moonlight."
"Pika-pi!" (Enjoying the moonlight on a quiet night is wonderful.)
"Chansey! (In Daddy Ash's lap...)
"Gardevoir!" (Me too!)
The Mightyena resting beside Ash looked at Gardevoir, not knowing what to say. But in the end, it just smiled slightly and moved a little closer to Ash. Ash's Houndoom also leaned gently against Ash. Little Eevee remained tucked inside Ash's jacket. Squirtle and Pikachu each claimed one of Ash's shoulders. Ash's dopey Psyduck obediently laid on Ash's back this time. Gardevoir found a gap and held Ash's hand. Charizard stood quietly behind Ash. Chansey found a spot next to Absol and leaned against Ash.
Beedrill and Pidgeot silently stood guard beside Ash. Arcanine quietly protected the perimeter along with Rapidash and Primeape. Bulbasaur stayed next to Ash in the space between Houndoom and Mightyena. The Giant Dragonite simply gave Ash a quiet glance, then joined Bewear in watching the two Kabutops and Aerodactyl.
Not far away, Daisy and the others couldn't help but smile knowingly as they watched Ash's setup. This moment belonged to Ash and his Pokémon.
'It's so nice. I really like this feeling right now... I really wish I could be by your side watching the moon right now...!'
Mewtwo's voice echoed in Ash's ears. Using its psychic powers, it watched Ash's location, an image forming in its mind of watching the moon together with Ash.
'No need to wish. At the very least, I know you are right here right now.'
Hearing Ash's words, Mewtwo's consciousness paused slightly, and then Mewtwo's voice carried a hint of joy as it replied:
'You're right... I am right here...'
What Ash and Mewtwo didn't know was that directly above Ash, Arceus was remaining invisible and watching the moon with them. Meanwhile, a figure unseen by anyone gently placed a hand on Ash's arm.
'Lord Ash...'
