After successfully abducting the Pikachus to his home, Ash contacted his house. "Rin, have the Pikachus arrived?"
On the communication screen, Rin smiled and nodded, saying, "They've arrived. The kids really like your orchard, Lord Ash."
"That's good. Just let the fruit farmers in the orchard know. Also, you should try learning my jam recipe and make some. It's good to spend more time with Pikachus."
"Rest assured, Lord Ash. Everyone here is doing great, and Mom often goes shopping with me. Sabrina also teleports over here to play."
"That's good. And stop calling me Lord Ash, it sounds really awkward." Hearing Ash say this, Rin paused for a moment, but then smiled and said, "Okay, Ash. Have a safe journey then."
"You too. Even though Gastly is protecting you all, you still need to be careful."
"Pika pika!" On the screen, a small Pikachu jumped onto Rin's shoulder and greeted Ash.
Ash smiled and nodded. "Little Pikachu, you have to behave, okay? Well then, I'll continue my journey now." Hearing Ash, Rin smiled and said, "Yes, I will be waiting for you at home, Ash."

Moving along the route, Ash and his group finally arrived at their destination for this trip: Stone Town. However, upon arriving, the first person to greet them wasn't the Eevee Uncle's family, but someone who gave Ash a bit of a headache.
"Ash, you're finally here. I've been waiting for you for a long time." Grey hair and an outfit Ash was always familiar with—the newcomer was none other than the Hoenn Champion, Steven.
Seeing Steven, Ash felt a bit speechless and asked: "Steven, I'm not trying to lecture you, but as the Hoenn Champion, you keep running over to Kanto. Doesn't the Pokémon League over there have an issue with that?"
Steven hopped right in front of Ash and said nonchalantly, "Rest assured, my dear friend. I took a leave of absence this time. I specifically brought the item you needed. Take a look."
Saying so, Steven pulled out a large box. Seeing the large box, Ash immediately hugged it tightly to his chest. "Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed! Is everything here?"
"Don't worry, they're styled exactly as you requested, and the gems used are all different colors. You can trust the craftsmanship of the Devon Corporation."
"Thanks a lot!" Ash carefully handed the large box to Meowth to store away, then said to Steven, "I'll give you the upgraded version of that move later. Thanks again."
"You're welcome. After all, I'm getting compensated too." Seeing how much Ash treasured that box, Misty suddenly remembered something.
With a mischievous smile, she asked Ash, "What's making you so nervous? Can I take a look?"
Seeing Misty like this, Ash immediately stopped her and said, "Don't mess around, these are very precious items. How can we just open it casually? Let's go to the Eevee Uncle's place. You guys still need to check out the Eevees."
"Just let me see, it'll be fine!"
"It's not fine! Be good now! We'll look at it later when no one else is around. Let's go, everyone!"
Although Lara and Brock were a bit curious about what was in the large box, since Ash said so, they didn't ask further. Only Suzie, who knew the situation, revealed a meaningful smile.
Watching Ash, Steven couldn't help but smile and say, "What a wonderful youth. If I didn't love stones so much, maybe I'd be just like you, Ash."
"So could you maybe allocate a tiny bit of your hobby toward finding a wife? Uncle Stone has asked me more than once to talk some sense into you!" Ash retorted while blocking Misty from trying to get the box from Meowth.
Then, he guided Misty towards the Eevee family's estate. Steven chuckled and followed closely behind. "A wife? I don't think I have that in mind for now. Maybe I just haven't met the right one."
Hearing Steven say this, Ash could only silently mourn for his friend in Hoenn, Roxanne. 'Sorry, Roxanne. It looks like this guy has no plans to find a girlfriend anytime soon. I hope you can wait until the day he finally figures it out.'
Meanwhile, far away in Hoenn, Roxanne was sneezing violently. "Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Weird... is someone thinking about me?" Preparing her teaching materials, Roxanne had no idea that she was already being pitied by Ash.
