With the friendly assistance of Team Rocket, Ditto was finally able to transform perfectly. And Duplica was finally able to reopen her Ditto House.
"Thank you all so much for this time. Although Ash, your methods were a bit extreme, Ditto really succeeded."
"No problem, as long as it succeeded. Originally, this method required a bad guy to pull off, so Team Rocket was a huge help."
"Umm... since that's the case, how about letting us go?" Tied up on the side, Team Rocket took the opportunity upon hearing Ash's words to beg for mercy.
Ash patted the thing they were tied to and said, "Of course I can let you go. But to prevent you from causing us trouble, I'll send you off on a ride. This special double-bang firecracker made by my Meowth will definitely send you soaring into the sky with a blast!"
Meowth, standing next to Ash, also introduced it with a wicked grin, "Rest assured, meow. This double-bang firecracker of mine is absolutely safe; it just flies a bit far."
"Alright! Charmeleon, light the fuse!"
"Char!" Charmeleon directly used its tail to ignite the fuse of the double-bang firecracker, while Team Rocket watched in horror as the fuse slowly burned down.
"Wait! We're not ready yet!"
Boom! With a loud bang, the Team Rocket trio successfully launched into the sky.
"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
Pop!
Accompanied by a huge firework, Ash and his group bid farewell to Duplica. "Let this firework serve as a celebration for the reopening of your Ditto House! Well then, goodbye!"
"Goodbye! Thank you all! Be sure to come visit when you have time!"
After saying goodbye to Duplica, Ash and the others continued on the road to Stone Town. Along the way, Misty, Suzie, and Lara eagerly asked Ash how to best raise an Eevee. Ash explained it to them in detail; of course, Brock was taking notes too.
"Anyway, for Eevee, it really depends on their personality. But since the ones prepared in Stone Town should all be young Eevees, there shouldn't be any problems. I'll help you observe their diets and write out recipes for you later. Hmm? Those berries over there look perfect."
Looking up at the berries on the tree, Ash said to Pikachu on his shoulder, "Pikachu, go pick a few berries."
"Pika!" (No problem!)
As Pikachu quickly climbed the tree, picked the berries, and returned, Ash held the freshly picked berries and said, "See? These types of berries are really good. Making them into jam or fruit pies will make Pokémon who like this flavor eat very comfortably."
"Qua?" (Food?) Upon hearing there was food, Psyduck, who was sleeping on Ash's back, immediately opened its eyes. Turning its head, its eyes were glued to the berries in Ash's hands.
"Open your mouth."
"Qua!"
After tossing a berry into Psyduck's mouth, Ash said to Misty, Suzie, Lara, and Brock, "Since we're resting here for a bit, how about I do a live demonstration of how to make it?"
Misty, Suzie, and Lara had no objections to Ash's proposal. Brock, however, asked, "Are these berries okay?"
"Don't worry, these berries are my Zigzagoon's absolute favorite. I'm very familiar with them."
"Zigzagoon?".
Suzie, Misty, and Brock weren't very clear about this Hoenn region Pokémon, while Lara smiled and explained, "It's a child Ash adopted when he went to Hoenn. That child has been super clingy to Ash right from the start."
"Yeah, meow, it's practically Chansey number two."
Smack! Chansey unhappily smacked Meowth and said, "Lucky!" (I am Papa Ash's baby; Zigzagoon is a pet!)
"Meow. Someone's jealous!"
"Lucky!" (Am not!) Seeing Chansey getting jealous, Ash smiled and rubbed its head, saying, "There, there. Chansey is different. You're the one I raised from an egg, after all."
"Lucky!" (I love Papa Ash the most!) Hearing Ash say this, Chansey happily hugged him. Being hugged, Ash smiled and said, "You're already a big kid, yet you still act so spoiled."
Suzie and Lara exchanged smiles watching Chansey act spoiled. They both knew how clingy Ash's Chansey had been when it was still a Happiny. Misty smiled as she watched Chansey, "Chansey really loves Ash, huh."
"Isn't that a given? I raised Chansey, after all. But Chansey, that's enough for now. I need to start making the jam."
"Lucky!" (Let me hug Papa Ash a little longer!)
"Meow, Boss, she wants to hug for a bit longer. Keep up the good work."
"Pika pika!" (The nanny has to comfort the big baby!)
"Qua?" (When do we eat?)
