"Well, that was way easier than I expected," Daedalus said with satisfaction.
"Indeed." Leone nodded. "I was expecting to have a little back and forth with them, but the Orcs are not like those snobby nobles from the Kingdom who like to waste time."
"Indeed. They are a straightforward race." Daedalus agreed. "With their help, we might be able to make it in time."
"Right." Leone nodded.
He had been unconscious for a few days. Plus, because of the issue with the Orcs, he hadn't found the time to build the houses that would serve as temporary quarters for the tribes visiting him.
But now, things were beginning to fall into place. As long as the caverns were dug on the side of the mountain, the temporary villas for the chieftains would be finished in no time.
"How are the Kobolds taking the news of the alliance?" Leone asked.
"Some of them are upset, but Caius and Titus calmed them down," Daedalus replied. "For now, it will be best if we don't let those two races meet."
