Just as Leone was about to stab Varus for the umpteenth time, someone grabbed the handle of his spear and stopped him.
"My Lord, he's already dead," Jason said calmly.
Leone was gasping for air, his mind overwhelmed by thoughts of killing someone. He didn't notice that his repeated stabs had already killed Varus, who didn't even have the chance to fight back.
But that didn't mean he was done just yet. There was one more person that needed to be punished.
That person was also in the vision. Someone who watched everything happen with a sneer plastered on his face. That person was none other than Ragan.
He could have ordered Ulric to kill Ragan, but he didn't do that. Instead, he raised the spear that was still in his hand and aimed it at the bastard.
"Stop!" Ragan pleaded. "Don't kill me! Forgive me!"
"I won't," Leone replied. "Go to hell where you belong!"
Ulric had not been kind to Ragan. He decided that breaking an arm and leg wasn't enough, so he broke all of his limbs.
