Taking a leisure stroll of the streets, Tingyun brought the little girl with her, holding her hand like a parent spending her time with her kids. Sweet snacks and a fun carnival, the little girl took a big bite to her food, though she cannot see, her ears are still functional, allowing her to hear the bustling atmosphere.
"Having fun?" Tingyun looked at the little girl beside her who was clutching her hand.
"Hm. It's… Fun." The little girl responded quietly.
"Relish this day, little girl. Not many could experience such luxury next to me, not before nor after that."
Gilgamesh glanced at the little girl with a soft expression, it was undeniable he didn't know this little girl, not her life, nor her age. He is the king and this little girl with them is his subject, failing to let this little girl indulge in the realm of happiness– is a failure of being a king.
Just as they stroll through the bustling streets, the little girl stopped her tracks and looked at the certain stall through which she followed what the smell came from.
"...I want that." Despite not being able to see, the little girl accurately pointed at the stall through smell alone.
"Granted. Tingyun, go fetch that food for this little girl." A single portal opened above the king's palm and a pouch of gold dropped, before throwing it towards the Fox's palm.
"Like I said, why me?" Tingyun looked at the wise king with complex emotions bubbling through her chest before sighing.
"Sorry…" The little girl lowered her head and suddenly apologized.
"Don't worry about it," Tingyun replied gently and they began walking towards a certain stall, leaving Gilgamesh alone for the time being.
Without idling, Gilgamesh moved forward to the certain alley with calm composure. Passing through another restaurant until arriving at the dimlit alley before turning right and there, two cloud knights guarding the door.
"Stop, this area is prohibited to enter. Please turn around." The cloud knights noticed the wise king's presence and immediately blocked his both.
"Silence, mongrels." The wise king's blank voice echoed loudly, before two cloud knights could respond, two swords Pierce through their chest.
Then he calmly walked passed through the dead body and opened the door, there the king saw two man seems to be talking something. Completely oblivious to what happened outside, and just like fate had foretold, the man looked up and stared at the king.
"Y-you?! Who are you and how did you get in here!?" The man accusingly pointed towards the king, followed by his companion.
"Where's the guards–" His words didn't even get to finish when a golden gate appeared above them and fire burst out!
"Ahh!! H-help! I'm burning!!" Despair took over their body and voice echoed loudly, reaching to the king's ear.
"I have no need to waste my time listening to a jest's words, know this and engrave this to your very essence." The king's arms fall down to his side and continue his words.
"A snake lurking in this garden of mine, plotting maliciously towards my possession is unacceptable. Know your place and accept this judgement of mine, mongrels."
As their bodies continued to cook, the smell of burning meat lingering in the air, without words, the king disappeared into a moots of light. Suddenly cloud knights burst through the door.
"What happened–" Their words stopped in their throats and found two bodies burnt into that of charcoal.
"Aeons." One of the cloud knights express his feeling
"Dang, they got cooked for real." Followed by another.
"Captain, this pill…" another cloud knight chimed in, holding a pill wrapped in a paper.
"Clean this place and take those for inspection." The captain of cloud knights immediately ordered.
"Yes, sir!"
"Sigh… who in the world did this?" The captain let out a deep sigh, first the abomination and now this? Mystery upon mystery keeps coming back to the Xianzhou luofu.
Now, back to the king who suddenly went back to where he was standing before. His gaze travels towards Tingyun and the little girl, without a word he stops forward towards them.
"This is?" Gilgamesh curiously looks at the oddly shaped skewered meat.
"Meat, you should try it, King Gilgamesh." Tingyun took another one and gave it to him.
"Yeah, it's delicious." The little girl nodded her tiny head.
"Very well." The wise king then took the skewered meat on Tingyun's hand and took his bite. And flavor burst into his mouth.
"Not bad at all, despite foods meant to be consumed by mongrels, it certainly brings interesting flavors."
"I'm glad you liked it." Tingyun smiled sweetly.

With the little girl strolling, it didn't take long for Tingyun and Gilgamesh to finish their sightseewith together with the little girl. Hours had already passed and Tingyun already dropped the little girl to her house, but of course with the help of Gilgamesh.
And now, upon already finishing the tour, Gilgamesh and Tingyun now navigated through streets until finding another dock and extra Starskiff they could use. With time ticking against them, Gilgamesh and Tingyun immediately went towards the divination commission without wasting their time.
Upon arriving to the other side of the dock, Tingyun lead Gilgamesh to the street of Exalting Sanctum.
"Your majesty, should we take a rest and continue tomorrow?" Tingyun walked closer to the wise king.
"Tired?" Gilgamesh asked.
"Not really tired, but I don't think its appropriate to go there when it's already late at night, that's why I suggest we go there tomorrow. And we can even asked our benefactors to tag along with them." She glanced at the wise king, waiting for his response.
"Hm. Very well." Gilgamesh nodded in agreement.
Tingyun expression immediately became delightful and then seemingly dragging the wise king along, it was without a doubt, his tolerance over this vessel of his is highly.

"I wanna go back to sleep…" Tingyun whimpered, ears flopping down.
"First thing in the morning and that's what I'm hearing? And aren't you the one who recommends to go there at morning." Gilgamesh looked at her with bemusement.

"Uhh…" Tingyun's shoulder dropped shamefully.
"So, what will you do next?" Gilgamesh asked, stepping forward.
"Asking our benefactors' help to get in inside divination commission." Tingyun respond, catching up next to the wise king.
"Hm, despite another day had passed, it seems the artificial sun hadn't fully raisen up. Or perhaps, it didn't actually raise here." Gilgamesh glanced towards the artificial sky with interest, neither the sun was there, just plain dark hue and tiny shiny stars.
Just as they continue, the ground beneath their feets suddenly shook and the massive tree suddenly seeks to come back in life!
"T-this is?!" Tingyun balanced herself and stared at the scenery after her.
"Oh? It seems to have awaken from its deep slumber, isn't that interesting, Tingyun." Gilgamesh glanced calmly at the root.
"Its not interesting at all, King gilgamesh!" Tingyun protested at him, before glancing again at the massive tree.
"Did someone triggered it?" She pressed her hand to her chin.
"Possible. No time dwelling here, let's go and let's set our sight to this magnificent views."
