The next day arrived in no time. The group and I, except Taemin, who had apparently traveled for some reason according to CEO Sungho, were all present.
We sat on either side of the long conference table, CEO Sungho looking at us as though we had just committed some unforgivable sin.
"What did you say?" he asked, his brows knitting tightly.
Hyunsuk leaned forward. "We want Taemin to return to his duties as the leader of this group. If he keeps proving he's incompetent, you'll have to remove him."
His jaw clenched as he stared at Hyunsuk, but Hyunsuk returned the look with equal hostility.
For some reason, even though nobody had mentioned it, I had a feeling these two knew each other from before. That was just my assumption.
"Fine, but we must first hear from Taemin," CEO Sungho sighed.
He turned, and a video call was placed on the huge screen.
