"Jisoo!" A female voice yelled, and I snapped out of my daze. I looked up to see a woman staring at me, her brow slightly raised.
"Is that a yes or no, Han Jisoo?" she demanded, tapping the table.
I gulped nervously, then said, "I'm sorry, I-I wasn't listening."
She held my gaze for a moment before sighing and leaning back against the chair.
"Is it true you had a fight with the victim and went to the rooftop to confront him?" she asked.
"No, I mean, yes, I had an argument with Taemin, but I never went to the rooftop to confront him," I replied quickly, my heart pounding against my chest.
"But the witness's statement is different from what you're telling me. The staff member you encountered said you were angrily searching for him. We also checked the CCTV footage and confirmed the witness's statement." As she spoke, she turned the laptop in front of her towards me and pressed the spacebar.
