The moment Rena decided and used Phantom Shift to reach the Mayor, her eyes blinked repeatedly after she spotted Roman sitting on the other end.
"Roman...?"
Roman himself had his eyes widened by what he had seen, because firstly, he hadn't expected her to be here, and secondly, this wasn't the best state for her to have found him in.
Lastly, he knew things weren't going to be funny, and the only person that could avoid that was North.
"No no no, Rena. She is not an enemy," Roman quickly urged her to get the dagger away, and Rena hesitated before doing so.
Roman immediately stepped out of the two-seater runner and walked over to Rena, who was still holding an unreadable look on her face.
And when he reached her, it wasn't what he had expected that happened.
She stared at him for about two seconds, before suddenly throwing herself at him. She hugged him tightly like it had been a long while, and somehow it really had.
