The Loki Familia is finished!
Upon seeing those two completely motionless "corpses" amidst the heap of monsters, Riveria, acting as the vice-captain, immediately felt her brain suffer an unprecedented shock—it was even more egregious than a certain Deity sneakily groping her!
Who were Hyacine and Barbara?
They were the Messiahs who had just become famous throughout all of Orario these past two days, and they had directly joined the Loki Familia.
Nearly everyone in Orario, and even all of humanity throughout the world, was waiting for the seeds of the Messiah to take root and sprout, growing one day into towering trees that would shelter the world.
But now?
Looking at those two limp, collapsed arms within the monster pile, Riveria felt a profound sense of professional failure, as well as the impending crisis the Loki Familia was about to face...
Even setting aside everything else, their reputation alone would be enough to cause them significant trouble. News like "The newly born Messiahs were raised to death by the Loki Familia" would surely spread across the globe, leading the Loki Familia to utter ruin.
The severity of the crisis was no less than raising a protected animal to death and being sent straight to rot in prison!
"Move now!"
"Save them!"
Riveria's mental focus was indeed powerful; she made a judgment the very instant she saw the scene. Regardless of what the Loki Familia would face next, one thing had to be done first: they had to reclaim the bodies of Hyacine and Barbara.
If they couldn't even manage that, the Loki Familia wouldn't be able to show their faces in Orario anymore.
Riveria herself wasn't suitable for the task because she was a Mage; a mistake on her part could easily damage the girls' bodies. Thus, she left the task to the warriors.
Ais's flat gaze instantly became serious as cyan breezes swirled around her body, and she flew straight toward Hyacine's position.
The werewolf Bete's expression turned savage, his eyes filled with Killing Intent toward the monsters, yet he prioritized rushing toward Barbara's position.
The Amazon sisters, Tione and Tiona, swung their weapons and charged directly into the monster swarm, prepared to slaughter everything in sight while providing cover for Ais and Bete.
It was evident that the Loki Familia was a truly united entity. There was almost no verbal communication; relying solely on a single order from Vice-Captain Riveria, they had distributed all tasks perfectly.
Got them!
Ais and Bete grabbed the hands of the two girls at the same time, pulling them out of the monster pile with a forceful yank and bringing them back to Riveria's side with maximum speed.
"Leave them to me. The rest of you, go wipe out the monsters."
Riveria's command brooked no refusal. They were already more than a dozen floors deep into the Dungeon, and these monsters were not weaklings.
In their eyes, these monsters posed a massive threat to Hyacine and Barbara—at the very least, they were beings capable of killing them!
"Understood."
Fury seemed to burn within Ais's pupils; she hadn't expected the companions who had joined only a day ago to be gone just like that. But even more terrifying was Bete...
"Those two useless wastes—did they think they could be reckless just because they're the Messiahs? To be beaten into this state by monsters, needing me to avenge them!"
Although this werewolf had a foul mouth, he was the fiercest fighter when a companion was hurt; simply put, he was a tsundere.
Even the other members of the Loki Familia began looking at these monsters as if they were already corpses, as if saying...
"Monsters, you actually dared to harm our companions, to harm the Messiahs of this world... You are ones who have a way of seeking their own death!"
"Die, die, die—!"
Under the onslaught of several first-tier Adventurers, these monsters were dealt with like a knife through butter.
No one cared about the Magic Stones falling to the ground; instead, they slaughtered the monsters in the most terrifying and bloody manner possible, as if venting the frustration in their hearts.
The area quickly turned into a living hell, with the ground covered in blood splattered from the monsters' deaths. Anyone unaware would think an unprecedented disaster had occurred here.
However, when the combatants returned to Riveria's side, they did not see a solemn expression, but rather a look of helplessness, speechlessness, and even considerable anger on Riveria's face.
"What were you thinking, using monster attacks to raise your Endurance? Are you not afraid of death?"
'Sorry, we have resurrection, so we really aren't afraid.'
Despite the truth, Hyacine and Barbara naturally couldn't admit it, and could only apologize to the "mama-san" of the Loki Familia.
"Sorry, Riveria... we made everyone worry."
"We wanted to meet everyone's expectations and were desperate to grow stronger quickly, which is why we used this method. We are truly sorry..."
Looking at the two girls apologizing earnestly, and seeing the "injuries" that were completely invisible on their bodies, Riveria finally sighed and chose to forgive them.
"I understand. After we return this time, you aren't allowed to enter the Dungeon for a short while, and..."
"You must absolutely never use this method to raise your Endurance again, understood?"
"Understood..."
Only after realizing that Hyacine and Barbara had truly healed themselves completely did Riveria breathe a sigh of relief.
Fortunately, nothing had happened to them. Otherwise, even Finn, that calculating Pallum, probably wouldn't have been able to think of a way to resolve the situation.
Luckily, this farce had ended!
Everyone's faces were written with exhaustion. Moreover, Hyacine and Barbara's healing proficiency was indeed high; even after being besieged by so many monsters, not a single scar remained on their bodies—everything had been healed.
"Such impressive healing power... In the future, I suppose few in the Loki Familia will suffer serious injuries, right?"
If the future Riveria were to see this sentence, she would likely give her current self a sharp slap across the face; after all, such a flag is not something one should plant lightly.
On the other side, the girls' expressions were somewhat dejected. They hadn't seemed to obtain a large amount of Endurance as expected; instead, they had taken a beating for nothing, and the numerical increase was minimal.
In the end, upon seeing their companions approach, they could only curl up and play dead, not daring to face them at all.
Otherwise, the ones who had a way of seeking their own death wouldn't be the monsters, but them.
'As expected, being warriors really doesn't suit us.'
'Without a Skill like Liaris Freese to boost our growth speed, we probably can't match Bell's leveling speed from the original story...'
'It really is best to just be proper Healers!'
Don't be fooled by how it looked like Hyacine and Barbara did nothing; the data for their salvation mission had already reached 1,024.
However, just after the people of the Loki Familia left the Dungeon, a red figure suddenly emerged from a corner. She gazed toward Hyacine and the others, then murmured.
"A familiar wind... but it doesn't seem to be her..."
