CONGRATULATIONS TO US ALL! 🥳🥳🎉
Congratulations to me, the author, and all the fans of VESSELS for making it to the end of Volume One! It's been a journey, and I'm glad we've made it this far together.
I know it hasn't always been easy, and I admit that I've been sloppy at times. So, as we enter this new phase, I sincerely apologize for those moments and ask for your continued patience and support.
This is an Auxiliary Chapter.
A Brief Recap of Volume One
Yamato is a kid without magic. He isn't a Divine King or a Vessel, yet somehow, he's still in the game. Near the end of the volume, we discovered that he's the son of a god, which helps explain his abilities.
But remember, his Divine Energy is sealed. That means he shouldn't be capable of doing some of the things we've seen him do. There's still a lot to explain!
Let's also clarify something important about the world's power system.
Humans are naturally meant to possess only magic. However, when a god intervenes without taking a human as a host, that human becomes a Divine King and gains Divine Magic.
But when a god takes a human as a host, the human becomes a Vessel and possesses Divine Energy, not Divine Magic.
Don't get the two confused!
Now, let's talk about Kaku.
Kaku was made a Divine King, not a Vessel. However, we still don't know what made him one. All we know is that the thing responsible is called THE SAVIOUR.
This clarification also explains how Kaku can kill Ozaki, a Vessel. As established in the story, Gods and Vessels can be killed by other Gods or Vessels who possess Divine Energy, or by those who possess a Divine Blessing—Divine Kings.
And finally, the moment we've been waiting for!
MADARA, THE GOD SLAYER, HAS FINALLY APPEARED!
And no, God Slayer isn't just a nickname. 😌
A Few Spoilers: What to Expect in Volume Two
1. The Madara Effect
2. How much stronger those touched by the divine became after the Madara Effect.
3. REALM.
4. Headmaster Regns' fight.
5. Madara's Divine Kings.
6. A whole different universe.
7. A Farewell Game.
And that's only a taste of what's coming!
One Last Thing Before We Begin
As we enter this new volume, I sincerely apologize in advance for the abrupt cuts and sudden scene changes that may happen just when things are getting intense—or when you're completely immersed in a scene.
To me, VESSELS is an animation playing inside my head, and I'm simply the narrator. So, when the animation in my head cuts to another scene, I sometimes end up cutting the scene in the story, too.
I know it can be frustrating, especially when you're enjoying a particular moment, but that's how the story unfolds in my mind.
Regardless, this volume is going to be hot, extreme, and mind-blowing! 🔥
And if there's anything you don't understand, even after reading my author's notes, don't hesitate to leave a comment under the chapter. I'll gladly explain it.
Thank you for sticking with me and VESSELS this far. Here's to a new volume, bigger battles, deeper mysteries, and a whole lot of madness!
Let's get into it! 😌🔥
