Ziggs stared intently as Jinx poured the solution into the glass bottle. Jinx, with one eye open and one closed, pursed her lips and carefully tilted the solution from her hand into the glass bottle.
Her newly grown long hair accidentally brushed against Ziggs's nose, who was standing very close to her. Ziggs sniffed and immediately let out a sneeze.
"Achoo!!!!"
Ziggs's head-snapping motion was too big; standing on a stool, he lost his balance and flailed around, causing Jinx's arm to jerk, and half of the unknown solution in the test tube poured in.
"Oh no, too much!"
Jinx immediately shrieked, clutching the test tube and glaring at Ziggs: "It's all your fault, you little furball!"
"I couldn't help it, your hair was in the way.... Achoo!"
Ziggs sneezed again. The solution in the glass bottle gurgled non-stop under the influence of the added solution, and as a string of bubbles emerged, a large amount of gas was also released.
The triangular glass bottle had a small opening and a large belly. The accumulated gas surged out through the narrow opening, making a hissing sound.
The two, one large and one small, who had been arguing, paused and looked in unison at the continuously bubbling glass bottle. Jinx swallowed a gulp of saliva.
"Looks like we messed up!"
Ziggs shrieked and jumped off the stool: "Then what are we waiting for? Run!!!"
Seeing Ziggs run first, Jinx also dropped the test tube in her hand and hurriedly followed him out.

The huge roar made Jinx and Ziggs's expressions change. The laboratory doors and windows behind them were directly blown open by the massive explosion. The door flew out, shattering the glass, and thick smoke billowed out from inside the laboratory.
At the academy gate, Duke, who was idly chewing on a piece of malt candy, changed his expression when the explosion suddenly occurred in the academy's experimental building. He snapped the candy stick in half and straightened up, looking towards the direction of the explosion.
"What happened?"
"High-energy reaction detected." Edith zoomed in on the laboratory's image for him. Thick smoke poured out of the laboratory, the glass was shattered, and cracks appeared on the outer wall.
"Could it be..."
A bad premonition arose in Duke's heart. He slapped his hand on his arrogance, and it shot towards the academy like an arrow from a bowstring.
"Oh no, we've caused trouble, we've caused trouble!"
Ziggs looked at the destroyed laboratory, becoming flustered and pacing in circles. Jinx knelt down and put her arm around Ziggs's shoulder.
"Don't panic!"
"Does anyone know we used this lab?"
"No... no one!"
Ziggs answered subconsciously, and Jinx smiled mysteriously, "So did anyone see us enter the laboratory building?"
"No."
"Then who knows we blew up the lab?!"
"No one knows!"
Ziggs, with a look of realization on his face, shouted excitedly, "No one knows, what are we afraid of?!"
"Correction, little furball!" Jinx poked Ziggs' nose. "We didn't appear in the laboratory building at all, we didn't do dangerous experiments, we went to Zaun, we went to Fugen Tavern!"
"That's right!"
"Oh?"
"Really?"
Behind the two, a Shadow stood with his arms crossed, looking at the large and small figures who had just tried to create an alibi for themselves, and slowly said, "Does no one really know?"
Jinx and Ziggs' necks turned like gears lacking lubricant, little by little. Jinx looked at Duke and chuckled dryly, "Hi, Duke!"
"What a coincidence!"
"Indeed!"
Duke, with a fake smile, nodded, "It is quite a coincidence!"
"If I hadn't planned to take you out for a big meal today, I wouldn't have known you were such a formidable character at school!"
"It's nothing, just so-so!"
"I wasn't praising you!"
Duke punched Jinx on the head, his face as dark as the bottom of a pot.
Half an hour later, at the Dean's assistant's office.
