Chapter 114 - Chapter 114 Appearance

At Harry's behest, the Bishop Company spent a significant amount of money to hire professionals to produce a documentary about the Battle of New York.

In addition to the documentary, there were various forms of books, interviews, and songs, covering almost every form of art.

Naturally, this also included movies.

There were two versions of the movie. One version focused on documenting the superheroes, and the movie was titled "Avengers".

The other version was much more tragic, focusing on the experiences of ordinary citizens during the Battle of New York. For this, Harry specifically hired some directors who used to film art-house movies in the Soviet Union, and the film was titled "Battle of New York".

There wasn't much to say about the first movie; it was simply meant to promote individualism—after all, there were always people in this World who bought into that.

To promote these works that disseminated certain ideologies, Harry personally came to Hollywood to participate in a talk show.

The host welcomed Harry: "Welcome to my talk show, Harry. When you come to Hollywood, you must visit the East Country Theater. Have you been there yet?"

"Not yet, but I do plan to go there and take a look—oh, shoot, I just leaked my itinerary."

"Haha, you've fallen into my trap," the host smiled. "Let's get to the topic for today. What are your thoughts on the films the Bishop Company is about to produce? They are about the 'attack,' and you were right there on the scene."

"Actually, I think it's most appropriate for the Bishop Company to produce this film. They have the resources, the capability, and, of course, the investment."

Harry leaned back on the sofa and spoke eloquently to the camera.

"As you all know, my father and I were there when it happened—but we are not the protagonists of this movie. After all, we aren't the Avengers or superheroes; we are just concerned citizens."

The audience laughed, and the host shrugged helplessly at the camera.

"You say you aren't a superhero? Interesting. Is that because some people online call you the Skateboard Hero?" The host said, making a gesture of covering his mouth. "I forgot that you expressed on social media that you don't like that name."

Facing the laughter of the audience, Harry shook his head with a smile: "No one would like that name—and also, don't say Green Hero! The latest equipment doesn't have any green elements!"

"Hahaha, I haven't even said it yet!"

Harry made an expression that clearly said, "You were obviously about to."

"Alright, alright, you predicted that correctly." The host looked at the cue cards and continued: "So, what about the other film?"

Harry straightened up: "As for the other work, the main goal is to let everyone know what actually happened there from the perspective of ordinary people. If you only focus on the first movie, you might think: Wow, is this what Aliens are like? They don't seem like much; we have the Avengers, after all!"

"But everyone needs to know that we paid a very heavy price in this battle. Actually, one movie might reflect too little; I think we should make a documentary to record the changes before, during, and after the war."

The second film was responsible for outputting anxiety, with a focus on heaviness—and promoting Osborn.

Not everyone could carefully review the whole event after the fact, and this film was here to help them review it.

In the film, people would see the United States authorities and the ignorant citizens who showed their ugly faces to Osborn before the war; they would see the citizens who fought bravely to protect these people by relying on ctOS during the battle; and they would see the heavy depression after the war and the significant role Osborn played in the reconstruction.

The host continued to ask: "So, what will we see in this film?"

Harry said without blushing or skipping a beat: "You will see the full picture of the whole event, from before the war to after the war."

It was just that, limited by the runtime, they had selected the important parts to tell.

"That would be great; we need such a work to commemorate these people. Next question: how do you view the recent Terrorist attacks? This matter has made the whole country very nervous, especially that person; he even..."

The host didn't finish, pointing at Harry. The implication was that he had threatened Norman Osborn, his father.

"There is nothing to worry about. Although my father is just an ordinary person, he has the ability to protect himself, and he also has his own'suit.' Remember?"

"Additionally, I think we can pay more attention to our city heroes. With the help of Osborn, they have become better. In fact, they have come to the scene today."

The host made an exaggerated expression of surprise, and the audience also made sounds of confusion.

13 mechanically enhanced city heroes walked onto the stage amidst gasps. These city heroes were all engaged in public security work, and they all had exoskeleton armor on their bodies, looking like Iron Man.

These half-cyborgs stood in the center of the stage, retracted their armor, and put on clothes. They looked almost no different from ordinary people, waving and smiling at the audience and the camera.

"These are the kind of people we need, aren't they? They come from all walks of life, have courage, and are willing to take action. The difference between them and Tony—I mean Iron Man—is simply that they don't have as much money and talent."

"However, Osborn is willing to provide these things for them—the cost of the items on each of them is over 200 million USD, all paid for by the Osborn Group."

Hearing this exaggerated number, the audience gasped.

The host opened his mouth wide: "That means the total value of this stage right now exceeds 2.6 billion USD!"

Harry nodded with a smile.

In reality, regarding technology, if he hadn't cheated, it would have been very difficult to achieve this effect with 2.6 billion.

This logic is just like Tony's mark armor—Tony claims one suit of armor costs 200 million USD, but in reality, even if the Military threw 20 billion or 200 billion at it, they couldn't produce this thing.

Things involving research are really hard to say, especially in this World.

"O-M-G, 2.6 billion?" The host was so shocked he couldn't speak, counting on his fingers while eyeing these mechanically enhanced warriors worth hundreds of millions.

"Is it a lot? It is indeed quite a lot, but I think it's worth it. We need a safer environment, don't we? Whether facing Aliens, Terrorists, or anything else."

Harry shrugged and stood beside these people.

"These city heroes will act as actors to showcase their stories in the film—or perhaps in a later documentary. In short, they are all very good people, and you will see that."

Making superhero documentaries in a World of superheroes is still profitable, but the key is the benefits beyond money.

The host, as if waking from a dream, also stood in front: "Thank you to these city heroes for their actions in the face of disaster; you are role models for everyone. It's not that I don't like that big guy called Iron Patriot, but these city heroes are clearly closer to us."

After the 13 people made an appearance, they left the stage; they were going to the East Country Theater.
