Dawn arrived over Themyscira not with celebration, but with quiet inevitability.

Golden sunlight stretched across the island, spilling over marble temples, ancient statues, and the vast training grounds where generations of Amazons had sharpened themselves into warriors. The light touched the shoreline last, where the waves rolled gently as though nothing in the world had changed.

But everything had.

The air itself carried a subtle tension—an unease that lingered beneath the surface of calm. It was not something one could see or hear, yet every Amazon felt it. The island, once untouched and eternal, now bore the memory of intrusion.

Far along the horizon, the barrier shimmered faintly.

It had been restored.

Whole once more.

And yet… not perfect.

A faint ripple distorted its surface at a single point—a scar left behind by something that should never have been possible. For centuries, the barrier had stood absolute, a divine boundary separating Themyscira from the chaos of the outside world.

Now it had been broken.

And that truth could not be undone.

At the highest cliff overlooking the endless ocean, Diana stood alone.

Her armor gleamed under the morning light, polished to perfection. The sword at her side rested securely, while the Lasso of Truth hung coiled at her hip, emitting a faint golden glow that seemed almost alive in the sunlight.

Her gaze remained fixed on the horizon.

Beyond that endless stretch of water lay the world she had only known through stories—through lessons, warnings, and fragments of truth shaped by generations before her.

Now she would see it for herself.

Behind her, footsteps approached—measured, steady, unmistakable.

Queen Hippolyta.

For a long moment, neither of them spoke. Words felt insufficient in the presence of what was about to happen.

Finally, Hippolyta broke the silence.

"You are truly leaving."

It was not a question. It was a statement, spoken with the quiet certainty of someone who already knew the answer but still felt its weight.

Diana turned to face her.

"I have to," she said, her voice calm yet resolute. "If Ares walks the world again, then I cannot remain here and pretend it does not concern us."

Hippolyta's expression softened, though the pain within it did not fade.

"I raised you to protect this island," she said, her voice carrying both authority and vulnerability. "To safeguard our people. Not to abandon them for a war you do not yet understand."

Diana stepped closer, her gaze unwavering as it met her mother's.

"Then trust that you raised me well enough," she replied gently, "to return when it matters most."

Silence followed—heavy, fragile, and deeply human.

Hippolyta reached forward, her hand resting against Diana's cheek in a gesture rarely seen by others. It was not the touch of a queen, but of a mother who knew she could not stop what was coming.

"Be wiser than them," she whispered softly.

Her thumb brushed lightly across Diana's skin.

"Be stronger than them."

A brief pause followed, her voice lowering further.

"And be kinder… if you can."

Diana did not speak.

Instead, she stepped forward and embraced her.

For a moment, there was no war, no prophecy, no burden—only a mother and her daughter holding onto what little time remained.

When they separated, the world returned.

The Amazons had gathered.

Rows upon rows of warriors stood in perfect formation, their armor gleaming, their expressions solemn. There were no cheers, no declarations, no celebration of departure.

Only respect.

And understanding.

Diana turned away from them and began to walk.

Each step carried her closer to the edge of the cliff—and farther from the only home she had ever known.

At the very edge, he was waiting.

Von-Ra.

He stood with his arms crossed, the wind moving gently around him as though even nature acknowledged his presence. His gaze remained fixed on the horizon, as if he had already calculated every possibility that lay beyond it.

"I was wondering when you would come," he said without turning.

Diana stepped beside him.

"You are not coming with me."

Von-Ra exhaled quietly.

"Not yet."

She studied him carefully, searching for something beneath the calm exterior.

"You said war finds everyone."

A faint trace of a smile appeared on his lips.

"And it will find me," he replied. "It always does."

The ocean stretched endlessly before them, vast and indifferent.

"Then why stay?" Diana asked.

Von-Ra glanced back toward the island, his expression shifting slightly.

"The barrier was broken once," he said. "That means it can be broken again."

His eyes flickered faintly with thought.

"And your people rely on it too much."

He turned back to her.

"I will help them rebuild it."

A brief pause.

"And improve it."

Diana raised an eyebrow, a hint of curiosity breaking through her seriousness.

"You already have something in mind."

Von-Ra's gaze shifted toward the shimmering barrier in the distance.

"Amazonian magitech," he said slowly, "combined with Kryptonian systems."

He paused, as if running through calculations only he could see.

"The potential is… significant."

Diana shook her head slightly, though there was a small smile on her lips.

"You are always thinking ahead."

Von-Ra met her gaze.

"I have to."

Silence settled between them once more.

Then Diana stepped forward.

"I do not."

That caught his attention.

"I need to see it," she continued. "Not as a story, not as a warning—but as it truly is."

Her voice softened, but her resolve did not.

"I need to understand the world… before I decide what I am meant to do in it."

Von-Ra studied her for a long moment.

"If you can face that world," he said quietly, "without losing yourself…"

He paused.

"…then you will not need me."

Diana smiled—not brightly, but sincerely.

"We will see."

She stepped back.

Turned.

And ran.

Her feet struck the edge of the cliff with unwavering force as she launched herself into the open sky.

The wind roared around her as she soared over the vast ocean below, the endless waves stretching beneath her like an untamed expanse.

She raised her arm.

The Lasso of Truth shot forward, glowing brilliantly as it extended into the sky. It wrapped around a distant cloud, anchoring itself as though the heavens themselves obeyed its command.

She swung.

Momentum carried her forward, higher and faster than before.

Again.

And again.

Each arc pushed her farther from Themyscira—and closer to a world she had yet to understand.

Behind her, the island slowly faded from view.

(AN: i base on the movie on how Diana could travel so far, so here's the result)

Ahead of her, the sky began to change.

The blue gave way to gray.

Clouds darkened.

Smoke replaced clarity.

The air itself grew heavier.

Colder.

Diana landed hard.

But not on sand.

Not on stone.

Mud.

She rose slowly, her senses immediately overwhelmed by the unfamiliar world around her.

Gunfire echoed in the distance.

Explosions followed.

Screams cut through the air.

The scent of smoke and iron filled her lungs.

Her expression shifted—confusion giving way to realization.

This was not the world she had imagined.

A soldier shouted nearby.

Another raised his weapon.

Gunfire erupted.

Diana moved instinctively.

Her body reacted faster than thought, deflecting bullets with precision, blocking, advancing.

She reached them in seconds.

Disarming one.

Striking another.

Sending bodies crashing to the ground.

"Stop!" she commanded, her voice cutting sharply through the chaos.

They did not listen.

More soldiers turned toward her, weapons raised, fear evident in their eyes. Not monsters. Not demons.

Just men.

"Why are you fighting?" she demanded.

No answer came.

Only more gunfire.

She moved again—faster, stronger.

But this time, something changed.

She hesitated.

A memory surfaced.

Von-Ra.

Calm. Decisive. Unyielding.

Ending threats without hesitation.

Diana's fist stopped just short of a soldier's chest.

The man stared at her, frozen in terror.

Then, instinctively—

He reached for his weapon again.

Diana's expression hardened.

This world did not allow hesitation.

She struck.

The battlefield fell silent around her.

Breathing heavily, she stood still, her thoughts racing.

This world…

Was far more complicated than she had believed.

Far away, on Themyscira—

Von-Ra stood within a circle of glowing symbols.

The priestesses worked around him, their magic restoring and reinforcing the barrier. But his focus was elsewhere.

In his hand, energy formed.

Golden.

Structured.

He adjusted it carefully, reshaping it with precise control.

"Divinity and science," he murmured, "are inefficient when separated."

The energy pulsed, stabilizing as he refined it further.

Blending Then—

He paused.

His gaze lifted toward the sky.

"…Something else."

Von-Ra's expression darkened slightly.

"Good."

Far across the world—

Amid fire, destruction, and endless war—

A figure stood untouched by it all.

Ares is Watching, Observing, Waiting.

His gaze followed Diana's every movement through the chaos of battle.

A slow smile formed across his face.

"Even gods…" he murmured softly,

"…can be broken."
