According to the witch who had introduced herself as Eleonora, pixies were strange creatures.
What should have been a simple bodily liquid came in the form of dust instead, acting like a seal that kept it unusable until the right conditions were met.
To unseal it, the dust needed to react with another person's bodily fluid.
"If that's the case, can't you just use your spit or something?" Lancel asked.
"That sounds like it would work, but the output isn't enough," Eleonora replied, shaking her head. "Spit doesn't have nearly enough potency for a proper reaction. That's why we use urine instead. It's much stronger and more reliable."
She leaned against the counter, her oversized robes swaying with the movement and drawing attention to the heavy curve of her bust once again.
