Chapter 71 - chapter 28:2:"The White Lotus and the Green Tea"

Grandpa Quinn slowly folded his newspaper and placed it on the table.

"You wanted to do illegal business, yet you didn't even have the self-awareness to clean your tracks."

He looked at Peter with obvious disappointment.

"Look at you. Exposed by a seventeen-year-old boy."

The entire dining hall fell silent.

Madam Quinn's expression turned cold.

"Peter."

Her voice was calm.

Which somehow made it even more terrifying.

The old woman slowly set down her teacup.

"Would you like to explain why you thought my granddaughter's shares were yours to sell?"

Peter's face stiffened.

Before he could answer, Diego laughed.

"Because she's a girl."

The words landed heavily.

Diego crossed one leg over the other.

"Let's be honest. That's exactly what he would've said."

He looked at Peter mockingly.

"Wanting a son is normal. Plenty of people do."

"But when you only have a daughter, you deal with it."

His eyes narrowed.

"You'd think after we caught you cheating years ago, you'd have learned something."

A cold smile appeared on his face.

"But apparently not."

He glanced toward Vera.

"Who even knows if he actually stopped cheating?"

Diego shook his head.

"Vera, didn't you once say ambitious men make good husbands?"

He pointed lazily at Peter.

"Well, congratulations."

"You married a man whose greed is bigger than his brain."

Vera's expression darkend.

That somehow made Peter feel even worse.

Diego was having fun if his life

"The last time Vera and the others made a big deal out of something, it was because Sophia wanted to take a shortcut in a business project They dragged the issue so badly she ended up having to build her own company from scratch." He thought

Emily took a sip of orange juice

.

Then she smiled sweetly.

"Be careful your future son-in-law doesn't end up like that."

Diego's smile instantly disappeared.

Across the table, Winter slowly turned to look at Damien.

Damien immediately squeezed her hand.

"It's not happening."

Winter stared at him for several seconds.

Her expression remained completely flat.

Only then did she nod and return to eating.

The atmosphere somehow became even more awkward.

Thomas cleared his throat.

"Can we get back to the main issue?"

He looked directly at Peter.

"Everyone's waiting for your explanation."

His voice became colder.

"Tell us why you sold your daughter's shares."

"Tell us why you hid it from your wife."

"Tell us why you thought attacking Luis was a smart idea."

Thomas leaned back in his chair.

"Do you think the Quinn Family is some kind of gold mine for in-laws to dig into?"

The man's smile held no warmth.

"It's one thing to be a leech."

"It's another thing to be an ungrateful bastard."

"And it's a completely different thing to think you can take everything."

His eyes narrowed.

"You wanted a slice of the pie."

"Who exactly gave you permission to think that way?"

Peter lowered his head.

Not daring to answer.

Nathan finally spoke.

His voice was calm.

Everyone immediately paid attention.

"We all know the rules."

The second son of the Quinn Family looked toward Peter.

"The moment an in-law stops supporting their spouse and children and starts hoarding resources for themselves..."

"They lose everything."

Nathan folded his hands.

"Every share."

"Every benefit."

"Every privilege."

"Every resource provided by the Quinn Family."

His gaze became sharp.

"They return it all."

"They are blacklisted."

"And from that moment onward, they are no longer treated as family."

Silence.

Peter's face became pale.

Madam Quinn spoke next.

"You will return everything."

Her tone left no room for argument.

"Everything you took from my granddaughter."

"Every resource."

"Every benefit."

"Every advantage."

She pointed toward Vera.

"All of it will be transferred into my daughter's name."

Then she pointed toward Peter.

"And from today onward, you will have no right to use the Quinn Family's name to support your businesses."

Peter's breathing became uneven.

Madam Quinn continued mercilessly.

"You will also no longer attend private family gatherings."

"You may attend public functions."

"Nothing more."

She paused.

Then looked toward Luis's empty seat.

"However..."

"Since Luis intends to deal with you first..."

A few family members immediately looked away to hide their amusement.

"...we'll give you some grace."

The old woman smiled.

"Recover from whatever my grandson does to you."

"Then pay back everything in full."

Her smile vanished.

"Otherwise the entire Quinn Family will come after you."

Nobody doubted that statement.

Not for a second.

Madam Quinn picked up her utensils again.

"Now let us eat."

She glanced at the servant carrying away the jars.

"And remove those fingernails."

The old woman frowned.

"I don't know what ruined my appetite more That."

Her eyes shifted toward Peter.

"Or your face."

Several people nearly choked trying not to laugh.

Grandpa Quinn immediately glared at Peter.

His wife's appetite had been ruined.

A serious crime.

"Have him sign the documents."

The old man didn't even look at Peter anymore.

"Every benefit."

"Every resource."

"Every share."

"Everything he owes."

"He can repay it in cash or company assets."

The butler immediately nodded.

"Yes, sir."

Peter was escorted out of the dining hall.

The servant followed behind carrying the jars.

The moment the doors closed

Jake whistled.

"Damn."

"Your family drama is always peak entertainment."

"I know, right?" Ava replied proudly.

Sophia slowly stood.

Everyone's attention shifted toward her.

The young woman bowed deeply.

"Grandfather."

"Grandmother."

"Uncle Nathan."

"Aunt Emily."

Her voice remained steady.

"I apologize for my father's actions."

She clenched her fists slightly.

"My father crossed the line."

"As his daughter..."

A shadow crossed her face.

"...I feel humiliated."

"But I still have to stand here and ask for forgiveness on his behalf."

Silence followed.

Then Diego leaned toward Faith.

"Damn."

"Vera really gave birth to a smart one."

Faith nodded.

"Good thing her surname is Vale."

Madam Quinn's expression softened considerably.

"Good child."

The old woman beckoned her forward.

"Come here."

Sophia obeyed.

Madam Quinn patted her hand.

"Don't worry."

"If anyone dares bully you, Grandma will support you."

Then she looked toward the family lawyer.

"Transfer additional shares to her."

Several people weren't surprised at all.

Sophia had just earned a reward.

Grandpa Quinn nodded in agreement.

"She deserves it."

Then his gaze shifted toward Vera.

"As for her mother..."

Vera immediately sat up straighter.

"Your shares will be reduced."

The dining hall became quiet again.

Grandpa Quinn's voice remained emotionless.

"You chose to marry a man who ignored family rules."

He tapped the table once.

"I've said this before."

"Control your greed."

He looked around the room.

"There is nothing wrong with a husband wanting success."

"Nothing wrong with a wife wanting success."

"Nothing wrong with wanting a better future for your children."

His voice hardened.

"But wanting everything for yourself?"

The old man shook his head.

"That is not allowed in the Quinn Family."

No one argued.

No one dared.

The matter was settled.

Prim was lucky the previous night.

When he got home, it was already late, and his mother wasn't around. Exhausted from everything that had happened, he didn't even bother reading. He simply took a shower, threw himself onto the bed, and fell asleep almost immediately.

Unfortunately, his peace didn't last long.

The next thing he knew, someone was banging at his room door.

Prim slowly opened his eyes.

He glanced at the clock.

Five o'clock.

Only three hours of sleep.

A flicker of irritation crossed his face, but it disappeared almost immediately.

Dragging himself out of bed, he opened his bedroom door.

"Why are you still not ready?" his mother demanded.

Prim blinked.

"You have to go to school today. Don't tell me you forgot."

She frowned.

"The international competition is next week."

Prim finally remembered.

Every year, the five best schools in the world participated in an academic competition hosted in different countries.

This year, it was being held in Aurelia.

Crownside High School would be representing their division by attending to two of the major school, while Number One Elite High School had been assigned to partner with Raven Boys Boarding School.

Today was the preparation day for number one elite highschool.

The selected students had to gather, form teams, and begin training.

Yet Prim was still standing here looking half asleep.

His mother's expression became colder.

"I hope you haven't been slacking off while I wasn't home."

She narrowed her eyes.

"God help you if I find out you've been wasting time."

"I'll send you to obedience school for a month."

Prim leaned lightly against the door frame.

The early morning sunlight streamed through the window behind him.

Combined with his naturally gentle appearance, he looked almost unreal.

Not weak enough to seem pitiful.

Not proud enough to seem arrogant.

Just... perfect.

Like a saint who never became angry.

The kind of person who made others feel warm and safe simply by standing nearby.

"Mom."

His voice was soft.

"I was reading That's why I lost track of time."The lie came out effortlessly without a single flaw.

His mother stared at him.

Then her expression softened.

"Hm."

She sighed.

"Don't overwork yourself rest for a few minutes just make sure you're at school by six-thirty."

Prim nodded obediently.

"Okay."

Satisfied, his mother headed downstairs to prepare breakfast.

The moment she disappeared, Prim closed his bedroom door.

Then immediately headed for the bathroom.

Twenty minutes later, he had showered, changed clothes, and cleaned himself up.

After breakfast, his mother personally drove him to school.

The campus was unusually quiet.

Most students were still enjoying their holiday.

Only those selected for the international competition had been called back.

The morning air was cool as Prim walked through the empty pathways.

Eventually, he arrived at the preparation hall.

It resembled a small university lecture theater.

Twenty rows of seats faced a large teaching stage.

The walls were equipped with advanced holographic screens, projection systems, and various learning technologies designed to make studying easier and more interactive.

Only a handful of teachers were present.

Some were arranging examination papers.

Others were preparing equipment.

A few discussed competition strategies among themselves.

Nobody paid much attention to Prim.

He quietly walked to a seat near the back.

Putting on his earphones, he pulled out a workbook.

Then, as if nothing in the world could disturb him, he calmly began solving questions while waiting for the other participants to arrive.

The morning sun filtered through the high windows of the elite academy, casting a golden glow over prim as he buried his face in his textbooks. Around him, whispered giggles erupted from a group of female students.

"Look at him... he's so hot and proper when he focuses.""He looks absolutely gorgeous. Especially that tear-mole under his eye. It makes you want to kiss it."

"Don't forget the one right by his lip, too..."The hushed admiration was cut short when a faculty member stepped into the room.

"Prim. A word in my office."

As the school's flawless Student Council President, prim immediately stood up, adjusting his uniform without a word.

Inside the office, the head teacher unrolled the official guidelines for the upcoming prestigious competition in AURELIA .

"Only Grade 11 and Grade 12 students are eligible," the teacher explained, tapping the desk. "Three students from each grade will compete. As the top student, you have already been automatically selected as the Grade 12 representative. For Grade 11, we have also finalized one prodigy."

The teacher leaned back. "Out of the twelve remaining candidates—six from Grade 12 and six from Grade 11—only two more from each grade will make the final cut. The other faculty members will evaluate their speed, problem-solving accuracy, and psychological endurance under high pressure. I want you to assist in invigilating the exam."

"I can do that," prim replied smoothly, a polite, practiced smile gracing his lips. The teacher nodded in satisfaction.

They walked back to the study hall together, instructing the regular students to vacate the room so it could be arranged for the grueling selection exam.

The Grade 11 candidates were tested first. Prim spent the next few hours walking the aisles, his sharp eyes monitoring the stressed students, handing out extra scratch paper, and collecting finished packets.

When the brutal session finally concluded, the teachers took over to grade the papers.

Exhausted from hours of standing, prim decided to slip away to the designated waiting room—a private lounge reserved strictly for the pre-selected elite representatives to rest.

He reached for the brass handle, pushing the heavy oak door open as quietly as possible.

The door creaked open.

Prim froze.

Inside the dimly lit lounge, a girl was on her knees on the floor her head moving up and down as she suck Luis dick Luis was leaning back against the leather couch, one hand casually scrolling through his smartphone while the girl gave him a blowjob.

Hearing the door, Luis slowly tilted his head back.

His gaze shifted from his phone screen straight into prim wide, stunned eyes. There was no panic in Luis's expression.

Not a single trace of shame, Instead, a slow dangerous smirk curved the corner of his lips.

Still maintaining direct eye contact, Luis raised his index finger to his mouth.

Shh !

He gave a slow, deliberate wink.

Adrenaline spiking, prim didn't say a word. He backed out of the room, clicked the door shut, and turned on his heel, his heart hammering against his ribs as he hurried down the empty corridor.

What happened?" the girl whispered from between his knees, her voice muffled, her eyes looking up at him with a mix of anxiety and devotion.

Luis didn't even look down at her. His gaze remained fixed on the heavy oak door that had just clicked shut.

The dangerous, amused smirk vanished from his lips, replaced by his playful look.

He reached down, his fingers tangling in her hair.

"Nothing," Luis said smoothly.

With an unyielding grip, he pushed her head right back down.

Meanwhile, Prim was practically sprinting down the corridor.

He walked into the nearest restroom, turned the faucet on high, and scooped freezing water onto his face.

He washed his face lightly, as if he could physically wash the image of luis getting a blow job right out of his eyes.

I seriously need to start checking my daily horoscope, Prim thought, gripping the edges of the porcelain sink as water dripped from his chin.

Am I cursed? Out of all the rooms, out of all the moments... why am I this unlucky? He thought

couldn't stay idle. If he stayed idle, his mind would replay that slow, deliberate wink. Needing an immediate distraction, Prim hurried straight to the faculty lounge to offer the teachers his assistance.

"Ah, Prim, just the person we need," the head teacher said, handing over a thick stack of stapled packets.

"The Grade 11 phase is over. Go hold the practice exam for the six Grade 12 candidates in the secondary study hall."

"Understood, sir," Prim replied, taking the papers. But peace was a luxury he wasn't allowed today.

The moment he stepped out of the faculty office, a sharp pair of footsteps hurried toward him. It was the Grade 11 class beauty a girl renowned for her looks in her class, but currently wearing an expression of pure malice.

she had a massive, desperate crush on Luis.

But right now, this girl was vibrating with rage. She had also caught Luis getting a blow job by a grade 12 student in that private lounge .

The sheer jealousy of knowing another girl was with him had pushed her over the edge. Combined with a rumor she'd just heard about that same girl's father bribing a teacher for the exam answers, she was ready to burn everything down.
