Chapter 76 - Chapter 45: Return and New Members

The violent fluctuations in space, like the surface of water into which a stone has been thrown, sent invisible ripples spreading across the center of the spacious hangar of the genesis.

The next second, light and shadow twisted, and reality was torn open.

Leticia's figure was the first to step out, her black robes moving without wind, and her ankle-length hair flowing like the night.

Following closely behind were the little blonde girl Terrania, who was holding onto the corner of her robe, and the silver-haired beauty Fogremia, who wore magnificent crystal power armor, held a long sword, and had a hint of laziness and fatigue on her face.

Valeria, who had been waiting there for some time, subconsciously straightened her posture.

Today, she was wearing a black female Commissar uniform tailored specifically for her; the well-cut fabric perfectly outlined her prominent chest and slender waist, and her short, jet-black hair further accentuated her heroic bearing.

Behind her stood more than a dozen officers of the mortal auxiliary legion, also dressed in crisp military uniforms, standing like rows of javelins.

"Welcome back, Goddess."

Valeria's voice was clear and steady as she placed her right hand over her chest and gave a standard military salute.

However, the moment she finished speaking, she froze in place.

Her gray eyes, which always burned with an iron will, displayed a look of dullness for the first time—the first time in history.

Because new figures began to pour out from that torn spatial rift.

One, two, ten, one hundred...

That was not an army.

That was a red avalanche, full of wild Vitality.

Thousands of women, all over two meters tall, tall and sexy, poured into this once neat and orderly hangar like a tide.

Without exception, they all had waist-length red hair like burning lava, their bronze skin shining with a healthy yet dangerous luster under the hangar lights, and the brand-new dark red-copper power armor they wore outlined their athletic bodies, which were full of explosive power, without any concealment.

What made Valeria's heart stop was their aura.

It was a scent mixed with rust, gunpowder smoke, and the purest, unadorned, violent Battle Intent.

Their eyes were like a pride of lionesses just released from their cages, full of curiosity and a desire for destruction towards everything.

This group of Red-haired Valkyries curiously examined everything on the genesis.

They tapped their fingers against the sturdy alloy walls, making "bang-bang" sounds.

They pointed at the bright lighting runes overhead, emitting low, unintelligible shouts.

A few, because it was too crowded, even shoved each other and almost started fighting on the spot with their power fists, until they saw Leticia standing at the very front, at which point they sullenly withdrew their hands, muttering discontentedly.

The entire hangar instantly turned from a solemn military facility into a chaotic vegetable market filled with hormones and the smell of gunpowder.

The faces of the mortal officers behind Valeria had turned pale; they subconsciously gripped the bolter pistols at their waists, their palms covered in cold sweat.

Facing this group of giantesses who were on average a head taller than them and exuded an "I'm not to be messed with" aura, they felt like a group of rabbits that had wandered into a dragon's lair.

The data pad in Valeria's hand hit the clean metal floor with a "clatter."

She didn't even notice.

"My Goddess..."

Valeria wailed internally.

"Did you... pack up and bring back the entire race of some barbarian tribe?!"

Leticia seemed to hear her inner voice, turned her head, and gave a gentle—yet to Valeria, somewhat malicious—smile to this loyal Commissar who had turned to stone.

"Valeria."

Leticia's voice was like a clear spring, instantly waking Valeria from her petrified state.

"Goddess!" She immediately bent down, picked up the data pad, and stood straight again, though her slightly trembling fingertips betrayed her inner turmoil.

"These are Anglonia's Sisters, and also our new family." Leticia's tone was as relaxed as if she were introducing a group of neighbors coming over to visit. "Their reorganization, settlement, and ideological education are all left to you."

This hot potato was tossed over so lightly.

Valeria felt her temples throbbing.

Settlement? Where should she settle these thousands of giantesses who were so energetic they might tear the ship apart at any moment? Let them live in the same dormitory area as her soldiers? She was afraid that by the next morning, her soldiers would be used as dumbbells by them for exercise.

Food? Looking at their physique, the consumption of one person per meal would probably be equal to that of a whole squad of her soldiers.

And ideological education...

Valeria glanced at those Red-haired Valkyries who were curiously looking at her with amber, war-filled eyes, and felt that if she dared to lecture on the imperial codex in front of them, she would be enthusiastically invited to the "Colosseum" the next second to discuss the "art of physical persuasion."

This wasn't logistics work; this was clearly asking her to be the manager of a warehouse full of dynamite barrels!

But, this was the Goddess's command.

Valeria took a deep breath, pushing all the shock, pressure, and complaints back into the depths of her heart. In her gray eyes, that familiar, steel-like, resolute will reignited.

"As you command, my Goddess!"

She puffed out her prominent chest, her voice decisive.

"I guarantee the mission will be accomplished!"

The next second, this Commissar, who had just been in a dazed state, had completely entered work mode.

"First and Second Squads, clear out the No. 3 backup cargo hold immediately to serve as a temporary settlement point!"

"Logistics Department, calculate all food and water reserves, and calculate rations at three times the highest standard!"

"Engineering Department, immediately reinforce the structural strength of all training rooms, and replace all training dummies with ultra-heavy alloy targets!"

Clear, decisive orders were spat out from her beautifully lined lips. The mortal officers, who had been somewhat panicked, immediately felt like they had found their backbone upon hearing her familiar voice; they stood at attention, saluted, and turned to run off.

The chaos of the entire hangar began to become orderly at a speed visible to the naked eye under Valeria's excellent organizational skills.

Leticia nodded with satisfaction.

"As expected, professional matters should still be left to professional talent."

She, the hands-off manager, felt at ease.

Just then, Leticia's gaze turned to the only figure among the group of Red-haired Valkyries who had remained silent from beginning to end.

Anglonia.

This furious guardian did not look around like her children, nor did she make any sound. She just stood there quietly, like a red mountain, letting the surrounding clamor flow past.

Her eyes, burning with amber flames, were scanning every red-haired Sister present, inch by inch, extremely slowly.

Her gaze carried a kind of almost greedy scrutiny.

She was confirming.

Confirming that every child had been safely and completely brought away from that hell full of pain and despair.

Confirming that there was no longer the madness of being tortured by the "Butcher's Nails" in their eyes, only curiosity and Vitality for the new world.

Confirming that their souls had broken free from their shackles and attained true freedom.

When her gaze swept over the last Sister and she saw the other grinning, trying to test whose armor was harder against Fogremia's beautiful crystal power armor, the lines on Anglonia's face, which was always tense and full of wild beauty, finally softened.

The string of her spirit, which had supported her, had been tightened for hundreds of years, and had never had a moment of relaxation, completely relaxed at this moment.

Eternal anger was appeased.

Endless pain was ended.

The regret she carried was redeemed.

Her children... her family... were all saved.

This was... enough.

Under everyone's gaze, this Valkyrie, who had just been suppressing a legion in the Colosseum, suddenly swayed slightly, her tall body.

Her amber eyes, burning with blazing flames, seemed to have their flames extinguished in an instant, quickly losing focus and becoming dazed and empty.

Then, her whole person fell straight backward just like that.

The heavy power armor, with the force of ten thousand tons, fell toward the ground.

"Sister!" Terrania let out a short cry of alarm.

Fogremia and Valeria's pupils also contracted at the same time.

However, the heavy crash they expected did not sound.

A black figure appeared behind Anglonia silently, as if teleporting.

Leticia extended her arms and, with a posture of absolute stability that was inversely proportional to her slender figure, steadily caught the heavy, mountain-like body.

Anglonia's massive, power-filled body fell into Leticia's seemingly thin arms just like that.

Her red hair spread out like a waterfall, covering Leticia's shoulders.

Leticia looked down.

The Valkyrie in her arms had fallen into a deep sleep. Her brows, which were always furrowed, were now completely relaxed, and there was even a childish, serene expression on her face. Even breathing sounds came from her nose, carrying a hint of warm breath, gently brushing against Leticia's neck.

She was asleep.

After enduring centuries of endless, excruciating pain, for the first time, she was truly, peacefully asleep.

Leticia looked at her, and a hint of gentle smile appeared in her deep black eyes.

A true "home" was slowly taking shape.

She adjusted her posture, and in a more comfortable way, easily held the sleeping giant in her arms in a princess carry.

"Let her have a good rest first."

Leticia's voice was not loud, but it clearly reached the ears of Fogremia and Valeria.

Holding Anglonia, she turned and walked towards her most spacious room located on the upper level of the bridge. Black hair and red hair intertwined, forming a strange and harmonious picture under the lights.

In the hangar, only the two "Sisters" with different styles remained, facing the ship full of energetic "mess" and each other.

Fogremia withdrew her gaze from Leticia's back, and her deep purple eyes glanced imperceptibly at the black-haired Commissar beside her, who was holding a data pad and planning something rapidly.

In her eyes, there was a hint of the inherent scrutiny and pride of a Primarch.

"A mortal, actually able to gain Big Sister's trust."

And Valeria happened to look up at this moment, her steel-like gray eyes calmly meeting Fogremia's gaze.

In her eyes, there was no retreat, only the unquestionable tenacity of being the first human hero under the Goddess.

"If you want to mess up my work, try and see if your pretty sword can be faster than the simultaneous broadside of the three hundred macro-cannons under my command."

In the air, there seemed to be invisible sparks crackling.
