After the meal was concluded, Ming Ye set his linen napkin down on the table and stood up. "I'll have my driver drop you off at your residence, Doctor Zi Han."
Zi Han politely shook her head, pulling her bag over her shoulder. "Thank you for the offer, Mr. Ming, but there's no need. I'll just hail a taxi outside."
As she spoke, a fleeting thought crossed her mind, she really needed to finally enroll in a driving school. The only reason she hadn't bought a vehicle yet wasn't a lack of funds; between her research grants and his massive investments, she was more than wealthy enough to buy a luxury car but not enough to hire a private chauffeur. She simply hadn't found the time between her endless lab hours to actually learn how to drive.
"The traffic at this hour is unpredictable," Ming Ye insisted. "My car is already waiting out front. It is much safer and more efficient."
