[Morning] [8:00 AM] [Dunphy House]

The blue BMW stopped in front of the Dunphy house at exactly eight in the morning. Jack said goodbye to everyone before walking outside.

Haley followed him onto the front path, still wearing the clothes she had thrown on after waking up. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

"Call me when you land," She said as she kept one hand against his chest.

"I will, and I'll call again after the shoot," Jack replied before kissing her once more.

Haley released him reluctantly, and Jack got into the back seat. He waved through the window as the BMW pulled away from the curb, while Haley remained outside until the car disappeared around the corner.

..

[7:00 PM] [Wild Adventures Theme Park] [Valdosta, Georgia]

By seven that evening, Wild Adventures Theme Park had been transformed into Pacific Playland.

It was already dark. The production crew prepared the amusement park for the climax. Bright carnival lights covered the rides, food stands, and game booths, creating a colorful glow that looked strangely cheerful against the abandoned pathways and blood-covered decorations.

Crew members moved between the rides while checking cameras, lighting equipment, safety cables, and the paths the zombie performers would use during the attack. Hundreds of extras waited near the makeup tents in torn clothing and detailed prosthetics, while the stunt team rehearsed the larger movements around the rides.

The amusement park would appear completely empty during the first part of the sequence. Once Wichita and Little Rock activated the lights and music, every zombie hiding nearby would be drawn toward Pacific Playland.

Jack stood near the central walkway in Columbus's costume while studying the enormous setup around him. Emma and Chloë waited near one of the game booths, while Woody spoke with Christopher and Phil beside the monitor station.

The climax would be the largest and most complicated section of the entire production.

Christopher looked across the illuminated park before raising his voice toward the cast and crew.

"Alright, everyone. Let's get ready for Pacific Playland."

After one final check, he called it, "Action."

...

Wichita stepped through the empty entrance to Pacific Playland with Little Rock beside her, both of them staring at the dark amusement park as though they had discovered the last untouched place in the country. Behind them, the camera moved slowly along its track, capturing the abandoned ticket booths, silent rides, and colorful signs fading into the evening darkness.

Emma kept Wichita's expression cautious while allowing a small amount of hope to appear beneath it. Chloë played Little Rock with far less restraint, moving deeper into the park as she looked from one ride to another.

Little Rock turned toward her sister with growing excitement. "Do you think any of this stuff still works?"

Wichita glanced around the empty pathways before approaching the nearest control booth. "There's only one way to find out."

She climbed inside and studied the switches while Little Rock waited beside the carousel. The lighting crew remained hidden behind the nearby stalls, ready to activate each section of the park in sequence.

Wichita reached for the main control.

The moment she pulled it down, Pacific Playland came alive.

Strings of colored bulbs flickered across the pathways. The carousel began turning as cheerful music crackled through its speakers. Roller-coaster cars rattled along the tracks, game booths flashed brightly, and carnival songs echoed through the empty park.

Little Rock stared around her with a wide smile. For the first time since the outbreak began, she looked like an ordinary kid who had been given an entire amusement park for herself. She ran toward the nearest ride while Wichita followed at a slower pace, watching her sister with an affectionate smile she rarely allowed anyone else to see.

Behind the monitor, Christopher followed the camera movement carefully. He looked at Emma's expression in one of the live footage and gave a nod. The lights had activated in the correct order, and the reflections from the rides moved cleanly across Emma and Chloë's faces.

Little Rock jumped into one of the ride cars and looked toward Wichita. "Come on! We have the whole place to ourselves!"

Wichita climbed into the seat beside her and lowered the safety bar.

The camera crane revealed more of Pacific Playland as the lights spread across the park.

Beyond the glowing rides, the surrounding darkness remained completely still.

Then something moved near the trees.

A zombie performer stepped slowly into view, drawn toward the music. His head tilted as he stared at the park before beginning to walk toward the entrance.

Another figure appeared behind him.

Then another.

Christopher watched the monitor as more zombie performers emerged from the darkness in carefully timed groups. Some limped between abandoned cars, while others pushed through the gates with faster, more aggressive movements.

The sound of the rides covered their approach.

Little Rock and Wichita remained unaware as they moved from one attraction to the next. They played carnival games, threw rings toward bottles, and laughed while the camera followed them through the glowing park.

Near the entrance, the first zombie reached the ticket booths.

It pushed through the narrow opening and stumbled onto the main path. Several more followed behind it, their blood-covered faces illuminated by the bright carnival lights.

The camera moved low beside their feet as the group entered Pacific Playland.

Wichita handed Little Rock a stuffed animal she had taken from one of the game booths. Little Rock hugged it against her chest and smiled.

A distant crash interrupted them.

Wichita's expression changed immediately.

She turned toward the entrance while Little Rock lowered the stuffed animal.

Another crash echoed through the park, followed by the metallic rattle of a gate being forced open.

Little Rock looked toward her sister. "What was that?"

Wichita stepped in front of her and stared through the flashing lights. "Stay behind me."

The camera pushed closer to Emma's face as she searched the pathways. For several seconds, nothing appeared between the rides.

Then a zombie crossed beneath one of the carnival signs.

Another followed.

Within moments, dozens of infected figures began pouring into the park.

Little Rock's excitement vanished as she stared at the growing crowd. "You've got to be kidding me."

Wichita grabbed her hand and pulled her backward. "Run!"

They sprinted toward the rides as the zombies charged after them.

The performers moved along the marked paths while stunt coordinators watched from both sides of the set. Several zombies crashed through lightweight barriers, knocking signs and trash cans across the walkway as Emma and Chloë ran past the camera.

Little Rock glanced over her shoulder and saw the horde spreading between the attractions.

"They're everywhere!"

Wichita tightened her grip on Little Rock's hand. "Keep moving!"

They reached the control booth and rushed inside. Wichita slammed the door behind them while Little Rock pushed a metal cabinet against it.

The first zombie struck the outside of the booth.

The walls shook from the impact.

More bodies crashed against the door, filling the small space with pounding, snarling, and scraping hands.

Wichita searched the booth for another exit while Little Rock looked through the window. Zombies surrounded the building, climbing over one another as they tried to reach them.

"There's no way out," Little Rock said as she backed away from the glass.

Wichita spotted the ride controls and looked toward the large drop-tower attraction beyond the booth. An idea formed as she grabbed Little Rock's arm.

"We're going up."

They rushed through the rear door and climbed the narrow stairs leading toward the ride platform. Zombies broke through the booth seconds later and followed them onto the metal structure.

Emma and Chloë reached the top platform, entered the ride seats, and pulled the restraints over themselves. Wichita hit the control button just as the first zombie reached the stairs.

The ride jerked upward.

The zombie lunged for Little Rock's leg and missed by inches as the seats climbed beyond its reach.

Wichita and Little Rock rose above the park while the infected gathered beneath them.

"Cut."

Over the next few hours, they shot the Columbus and Tallahassee arrival-at-the-park scenes.

Then inside the park...

Tallahassee smiles and yanks one last thing from his duffle bag: An AIR-HORN. He runs into the street and blasts it three times. Every nearby zombie stops and turns to look.

Tallahassee throws back his shoulders and beats his chest and hollers like Tarzan. "Come on. Come and get a piece of Tallahassee! Anybody home?" Tallahassee is nice this time of year."

The zombies charged at him, including the ones gathered under the tower ride. Tallahassee locks eyes with Columbus and wags his head in the direction of Wichita and Little Rock.

Now, the camera was only focused on Woody as he took out his gun and just lit them up before running away, leading the zombies away. He hops a fence into a ride called THE AVIATOR: planes suspended from a central wheel that's already spinning.

Tallahassee grabs hold of the bottom of one of the planes and spins counterclockwise to the approaching zombies. He hangs by one arm, Steyr AUG in the other, and mows down the zombies as he rotates.

"Ahhhhahahaha!"

Once Tallahassee completes a half rotation, he jumps off and summons the remaining zombies with a big whistle.

The zombies charged.

After killing another bunch, the next scene was him riding the roller coaster and shooting the zombies. Woody looked to be having fun, even with that fake gun.

Having cleared a path, Tallahassee runs toward a GIFT SHED in the middle of the circle. He dives through the front window and pulls down the metal gates in the front and on the sides. Zombies come at him from every direction.

This was Tallahassee's LAST STAND.

This was one of the most badass scenes, with slow motion and all those effects. So, it took multiple shots and another hour to get everything. Woody used his handguns and posed and shot in style. The zombies gathered around the shed as he continued to shoot, and then he nailed the reload scene and expression.

At the end, all the zombies were dead, and Tallahassee spun the handguns in style, and then he pumps his fist into the air and lets out an adrenalized primal victory.

After his scene was done, it was time for the rescue scenes...

A zombie was climbing the tower...

Wichita used her shotgun and tried to shoot, but couldn't get a proper shot. Columbus fought through multiple zombies.

In a slow-motion shot: Columbus runs like a track star toward the BlastOff (Tower Ride: The one that goes up and down at high speed) with three zombies close on his tail. Up on the ride, the girls team up to swing their guns like bats at the zombie on top of the ring.

Columbus runs through the Rattler ride, a swinging, spinning pendulum that he just barely evades. The chasing zombies stop... as there was a quick 'cut.'

The prop team quickly placed three fake zombies, and the shooting resumed again...

The zombies get mowed down by the giant swinging disc.

Columbus jumps the fence on the other side of The Rattler and approaches the base of the Blast-off. He looks up to see the last climbing zombie about to reach the girls. Wichita and Columbus lock eyes. He spies the ride's controls and knows what he has to do.

But, as he approaches the line... out springs ONE FINAL ZOMBIE... and not just any zombie, but the most hideous zombie of all... drooling, bleeding, gnashing its teeth...

...and oh yeah, DRESSED like a CLOWN. The zombie is blocking the path to the Blast-Off controls.
