Chapter 378 - 378: Sol, the God of This World

Upon hearing this, the cynical smile on Gojo Satoru's face faded slightly.

He walked toward the massive observation window, looking out over the brightly illuminated training grounds below and the enormous city stretching far into the distance.

"Purpose, huh..."

Gojo rubbed his chin, seemingly weighing his words. After a moment, he turned around. His azure Six Eyes swept across his former students and companions, and his tone carried a rare, almost sentimental quality.

"If I had to give you an answer, perhaps... it's simply because he can."

"What do you mean?" Okkotsu pressed.

"Literally."

Gojo spread his hands.

"To us, traveling between worlds, instantly subduing Special Grade Sorcerers, and casually arranging for S-Class Heroes to serve as our instructors are all unimaginable miracles, right?"

Everyone fell silent.

That was precisely the source of their shock and unease.

Gojo Satoru smiled, though there was a complicated edge to it, a mixture of longing and resignation in the face of an absolute gap in power.

"But for Sol, these things are probably as simple and natural as breathing or eating."

"He is, in every meaningful sense, the God of this world."

"...God?"

Panda murmured the word, finding it far heavier than he expected.

"That's right. God."

Gojo nodded.

"Not as a metaphor, and not as an honorific. I mean a God in the literal sense, someone who controls the Laws of this world and possesses the authority to create and erase."

"The world we came from might simply look like an interesting new model that appeared in his study."

He paused before revealing something even more shocking.

"By the way, those powerful S-Class Heroes we just saw, including Miss Tatsumaki and her ridiculously powerful telekinesis, as well as the disasters known as Monsters that occasionally appear, are all theoretically his subordinates. Or rather, they will eventually become his property."

"Wha...?!"

Even the normally composed Kento Nanami lost his composure, his pupils contracting sharply.

The entire world belonged to him?

Seeing everyone's expressions change drastically, Gojo Satoru seemed to find the reaction amusing. He then added the most important detail.

"Oh, and there's also that bald guy you met earlier, Saitama. He's the only known existence who can make Sol even slightly interested in terms of pure power."

"Of course, I said slightly. Sol is the rules themselves, while Saitama is a bug capable of breaking some of those rules. But ultimately, even a bug exists within the rules."

The information was overwhelming.

Okkotsu Yuta, Nanami Kento, Maki Zen'in, Panda, and Toge Inumaki all stood frozen, their minds struggling to process what they had just heard.

They had initially assumed Sol was simply an extraordinarily powerful outsider or perhaps some mastermind operating from the shadows.

They had never imagined that his identity and status had completely transcended the very concept of being powerful.

A deity.

The sole God ruling over an entire world.

No wonder his attitude toward them had been so indifferent, almost dismissive.

In the eyes of a God, their worries, anger, and struggles might genuinely be no more significant than the commotion of ants.

Perhaps taking Gojo, Itadori, and the others had truly been nothing more than a whim, like a child picking up a few unusually shaped stones from the sand.

An overwhelming sense of powerlessness and insignificance settled over the elite sorcerers from the Jujutsu world.

The Cursed Spirits they had spent their lives fighting, and the pinnacle of Jujutsu they had struggled to reach, what did any of it mean before an existence like this?

Seeing his seniors reduced to silence, Itadori tried to lighten the atmosphere with an awkward laugh.

"Um... Big Brother Sol is actually a pretty nice person. He just doesn't talk much. And the training he arranged for us has been super effective!"

Megumi Fushiguro also spoke in a low voice.

"At least for now, he genuinely has no hostility toward us. In this world, we're able to come into contact with a higher level of power."

Nobara nodded vigorously.

"Exactly! We're already here, so don't overthink it. Just get stronger first! Okkotsu-senpai, you guys should stay and undergo the special training too. It's a rare opportunity!"

Okkotsu Yuta slowly recovered from the overwhelming shock.

He looked through the window at the unbelievable world outside, then at Itadori and the others, whose eyes were clear and determined. Finally, he looked toward Gojo Satoru, whose expression seemed to say that since they were already here, they might as well make the most of it.

Yuta took a deep breath before shaking his head with a bitter smile.

In the face of a true God, all their plans and worries seemed to have lost their meaning.

At this point, the only option before them appeared to be the one Gojo Satoru had suggested: accept this absurd reality and make the most of this "opportunity" in a world ruled by a God.

"...I understand."

Okkotsu Yuta's voice was slightly dry, but his gaze gradually became firm.

"Gojo-sensei, please make the arrangements."

He knew that the moment they stepped into this world, the rules they had once understood had been completely overturned.

As for what the future held, perhaps it truly rested in the hands of that God and whatever he decided to do next.

Gojo Satoru looked at the expressions of shock, confusion, and faint awe on the faces of his former students and companions. He then laughed lightly, breaking the oppressive atmosphere.

"Alright, alright. Don't all look like your entire worldview just collapsed."

He clapped his hands, his tone returning to its usual carefree manner.

"Since the Landlord doesn't plan on kicking us out for now, and he's even provided such a great 'advanced study' opportunity, then we tenants might as well enjoy it to the fullest."
