Chapter 364 - 364: Foundation of Strength

The brief interruption eased the awkward atmosphere considerably.

Metal Bat laughed as he rested his bat on his shoulder and strode toward the training area.

"Alright, who's up for another spar? I'm fired up today!"

Tanktop Master and Bang exchanged smiles before joining the training.

Child Emperor returned to debugging a new simulation program, while Zombieman quietly headed to the recovery equipment in the corner for light exercise.

Nearby, Genos followed closely behind Saitama, carefully recording data as Saitama casually threw a punch into one of the large strength-testing machines.

Gojo Satoru, who had already put his blindfold back on, wandered over to the control panel with his usual playful grin, clearly plotting something.

Although everyone resumed their own training, more than a few of them continued sneaking glances toward the pair standing at the edge of the arena.

Sol put his shirt back on and looked at Tatsumaki, whose cheeks still carried a faint blush.

"I'm going to wash up."

Under the bright lights of the training hall, the atmosphere remained subtly different.

After Sol left, Tatsumaki floated alone near the side of the arena with her arms crossed. Her emerald eyes wandered across the busy training hall, but anyone paying close attention would notice she was distracted. A faint blush still lingered on the tips of her ears.

"Hey, green-haired girl."

Gojo had somehow appeared beside her again. Even with his blindfold covering his eyes, the grin on his face was as irritating as ever.

"That was a pretty heartwarming scene. I never expected the legendary God Slayer to have a side like that."

Tatsumaki's brows immediately knit together.

Psychic energy flickered around her as she shot him a cold glare.

"White-haired blindfold guy, do you want to end up embedded in the wall? What Sol does is none of your business."

"Oh, don't be so angry."

Gojo waved a hand dismissively, completely unconcerned by the threat.

"I'm just curious. Does a monster like Sol really need basic physical training? He was sweating buckets and actually looked tired."

"How intense is his training?"

His question drew the attention of several nearby heroes.

Metal Bat had just finished another sparring session. Wiping sweat from his forehead, he walked over with a grin.

"You wouldn't get it, blindfold bro. Sol's fundamentals are ridiculously solid."

He jerked a thumb toward Sol's training area.

"Don't let his insane strength fool you. He still comes back to the basics every now and then. Says it helps him control his power better and reminds him where he started. Isn't that right, old man?"

Bang nodded, his eyes filled with approval.

"Sol's understanding of martial arts surpassed mine long ago."

"Still, just as Metal Bat said, he has never neglected the fundamentals."

"A towering building begins with its foundation. Maintaining that mindset is exceptionally rare."

His words were directed not only at Gojo, but also at Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara, who had quietly gathered nearby.

Yuji's eyes lit up with understanding.

"I get it! It's just like how Gojo-sensei always makes us practice the basics of cursed energy control over and over."

Megumi nodded in agreement.

"True strength is built upon an unshakable foundation."

Nobara leaned closer to the two boys and whispered,

"But... did you see Miss Tatsumaki's expression earlier? I've never seen her look like that."

Unfortunately for them, Tatsumaki's hearing was far too sharp.

She immediately shot them a glare.

"Pink-haired kid, spiky-haired kid, and you, orange-haired girl. Do you have that much free time?"

"It looks like your training isn't nearly enough."

She turned toward Genos.

"Genos, give them three extra rounds of high-intensity reaction training."

"Understood, Miss Tatsumaki."

Genos immediately complied, somehow producing additional training equipment from seemingly nowhere.

"Wha... Wait! We're sorry!"

Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara cried out in unison.

At that moment, Sol returned from washing up.

He wore a fresh black training uniform, and his hair was still slightly damp.

Feeling everyone's attention on him, he calmly swept his gaze across the room before stopping on Tatsumaki, whose expression still seemed slightly unnatural.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

The answer came almost instantly.

"I was just supervising those lazy brats."

She floated over to his side, seemingly without purpose, yet positioning herself perfectly between Sol and Gojo's curious stare.

"What's next?"

She tried to sound as composed as usual, though a trace of stiffness still lingered in her voice.

"More training."

Sol headed toward the strength-testing section at the edge of the training hall.

Unlike the rest of the facility, this area contained no advanced machinery. Only enormous barbells forged from special alloys and several massive strength-testing pillars stood in neat rows.

He had already completed his skill and endurance training.

Now, it was time to focus purely on strength.

Stopping before a colossal squat rack loaded with a weight that defied ordinary human comprehension, Sol stepped beneath the bar.

Even Superalloy Darkshine rarely trained with this amount of weight.

Tatsumaki floated nearby with her arms crossed.

She appeared indifferent, yet her eyes never left him.

Without any warm-up, Sol positioned himself beneath the barbell and effortlessly lifted the mountain-like weight onto his shoulders.

Then he began squatting.

Every movement was flawless.

His rhythm remained perfectly steady.

Each descent caused the muscles beneath his training uniform to tense and ripple with unmistakable power.

Each ascent was smooth, controlled, and completely stable.

There was no unnecessary showmanship.

He was simply reaffirming the foundation of his own strength.

"Whoa..."

Still trying to avoid Genos's relentless training, Yuji couldn't help staring in disbelief.

"Is that even a weight a human can lift?"

Metal Bat lowered his bat and clicked his tongue.

"Tch. It blows my mind every time I see it. I can barely get that thing off the rack."

Tanktop Master nodded solemnly.

"That is the embodiment of absolute strength."

Bang quietly nodded as well, his eyes filled with genuine admiration.
