Just then, the training ground's main console emitted a soft alert.
Child Emperor glanced at the screen before speaking.
"Mr. Sol has sent a message. He and Miss Tatsumaki won't be returning to headquarters tonight. He's authorized me to handle your accommodations and the rest of your training schedule."
Gojo Satoru instantly perked up and leaned toward the control panel.
"Oh? Perfect! Child Emperor, open the simulation again! I've got a new idea. Maybe this time I can survive another 0.1 seconds!"
Child Emperor adjusted his glasses with a helpless sigh.
"Mr. Gojo, your mental recovery rate is certainly remarkable, but repeated high-intensity simulations place an enormous strain on the brain. I strongly recommend at least two hours of deep meditation before attempting another session."
"It's fine, it's fine." Gojo waved him off with a grin. "My brain is the strongest too."
The training session below also came to a temporary end.
Dragging their exhausted but excited bodies, Itadori, Nobara, and Megumi left the training area, where several Hero Association staff members were already waiting to escort them.
"This way, please," a neatly dressed woman said with a warm smile. "The Nutrition Department has prepared customized recovery meals and energy supplements based on your physical scan results."
"The shower facilities are ready, and fresh clothing has been prepared for each of you."
As they walked through the sleek, futuristic corridors, Itadori looked around in amazement. Staff members of every appearance and specialty greeted them politely as they passed.
"Everyone here is incredible," he said. "They're so thoughtful."
Megumi quietly observed his surroundings while sensing the unfamiliar energy flowing throughout the headquarters.
"The operational efficiency of this entire organization is unbelievable," he murmured.
"It's completely different from the fragmented, self-interested atmosphere of the jujutsu world, where internal conflicts are common."
Meanwhile, Nobara couldn't stop admiring the vibration hammer in her hand. Even though she was exhausted, she casually swung it a few times.
"This equipment is amazing. It's much better than my Cursed Tools."
The staff member smiled.
"I'm glad you like it, Miss Nobara. The Equipment Department has already recorded your initial usage data. If you have any suggestions or feedback, please let us know. They'll gladly make adjustments to better suit your fighting style."
The living quarters were spacious and comfortable, complete with every modern convenience and even basic recovery equipment for physical rehabilitation.
After enjoying hot showers and changing into the fresh clothes prepared for them, the three felt much of their exhaustion melt away.
The meal delivered afterward expanded their horizons even further.
None of the dishes were extravagant, yet every serving came with a detailed breakdown of its nutritional value, energy content, and recovery benefits.
Itadori devoured a specially prepared high-protein steak.
"It's so good!" he mumbled through a full mouth. "I can actually feel my whole body warming up!"
Megumi calmly sampled a jelly-like dessert formulated to relieve mental fatigue and nodded in approval.
Nobara was especially interested in a rich soup designed to strengthen bone density and improve physical resilience.
After dinner, Itadori sprawled across the soft sofa, staring through the window at the dazzling nightscape of this unfamiliar world.
"Hey, Megumi... Nobara... do you think this is what Mr. Sol's life is like every day?"
Megumi remained silent for a while.
He thought about Sol's indifferent attitude during class, his occasional incomprehensible behavior, and then compared it with this enormous, highly organized empire that revolved around him.
"Maybe," Megumi finally said, "this is just normal for him."
Nobara hugged a cushion, her expression becoming thoughtful.
"So... ruling the world isn't just about fighting powerful enemies."
"It's also about managing everything behind the scenes."
She remembered the capable, enthusiastic staff members she'd met throughout the day, and the admiration, gratitude, and reassurance in their voices whenever they spoke about Sol.
It painted an entirely different picture of the classmate she thought she knew.
"Enough thinking about it!" Itadori suddenly sprang to his feet, fists clenched and eyes blazing with determination.
"We've been given an incredible opportunity. We need to make the most of this training and come back much stronger."
His enthusiasm quickly spread to the others.
Megumi's eyes hardened with resolve, and Nobara nodded firmly.
The following morning, the doors to the training grounds slid open.
Sol entered first, with Tatsumaki floating in behind him.
"No one's here?"
The enormous training facility was silent. Aside from the quiet hum of the ventilation system, the entire area was empty.
After confirming they were alone, Sol looked around thoughtfully.
It had been a very long time since he had engaged in purely physical training.
Not because he needed it, but because there was no longer any point.
His godlike power had rendered ordinary exercise meaningless.
Yet today, he suddenly wanted to experience it again.
He wanted to feel his muscles tighten, his blood circulate, and sweat run down his body.
Standing alone beneath the bright lights of the training hall, Sol quietly removed his shirt, revealing a lean, perfectly defined physique without excessive bulk.
He deliberately suppressed his physical abilities until they were close to the limits of an ordinary human.
What he wanted wasn't power.
He wanted the genuine sensation of exertion, muscles straining, breathing growing heavier, and fatigue gradually building.
He began practicing an ancient boxing form.
Each movement appeared slow and deliberate, yet every stance carried profound precision and mastery. Every motion stirred the surrounding air with quiet force.
Before long, fine beads of sweat formed across his forehead, slid down his neck, and traced the contours of his chest.
He deliberately refrained from using his body's extraordinary regenerative abilities, allowing exhaustion to accumulate naturally.
His breathing gradually became heavier.
After so long, this simple act of physical training allowed him to once again experience the pure, unmistakable feeling of being alive.
