Nanami quickly came to a conclusion.
"The Curtain's anchor points are usually placed at elevated locations or areas where Cursed Energy converges. The rooftop of Shibuya PARCO is the highest accessible location nearby, making it the most likely place."
"Understood!" Itadori immediately replied. "I'll head there now!"
"I'll come with you." Nanami sheathed his blade. "Ino, continue clearing out the Cursed Spirits on this street and make sure the evacuation route remains open."
"Yes, Nanami-senpai!" Takuma Ino answered solemnly.
Nanami glanced at Itadori.
"Keep up, Itadori-kun. Stay alert. Anchor points are often guarded."
The two immediately sprinted toward the department store.
The low grade Cursed Spirits roaming the streets attempted to block their path, but Nanami's blade and Itadori's Cursed Energy infused punches exorcised them instantly.
They moved at incredible speed, weaving through rubble and panicked civilians.
The closer they got to the department store, the fewer Cursed Spirits they encountered. An unnatural silence settled over the area, and oppressive residual Cursed Energy saturated the air.
After quickly climbing the exterior fire escape, Nanami and Itadori reached the rooftop entrance.
Nanami signaled for Itadori to stop and carefully pushed the iron door open just enough to peek outside.
As expected, three Cursed Tool nails were planted on the rooftop.
The Curtain's anchor point was indeed there, guarded by three Cursed Users.
The intruders' presence was immediately detected.
One of the Cursed Users was a short, wrinkled old woman known as the Worshiping Hag, who let out a hoarse laugh. Beside her stood her grandson, a young man with sinister eyes.
On the opposite side stood the burly Cursed User, Kurisaka.
Without exchanging a word, Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro burst into action and rushed onto the rooftop.
"Who's there?!" the Worshiping Hag screeched.
Her grandson immediately entered a defensive stance, while Kurisaka turned around with a sneer, his thick arms swelling as Cursed Energy surged through him.
"We're here to destroy the Curtain's anchor point," Nanami said coldly, moonlight glinting off his blade.
Without wasting another second, he dashed straight at Kurisaka, who stood closest to him. His movements were swift and precise.
At the same time, Itadori charged toward the Worshiping Hag and her grandson, his fists wrapped in Cursed Energy.
"You won't get away with this!"
The Worshiping Hag cackled strangely as her bony fingers rapidly formed hand signs.
Twisted black runes spread across the rooftop, and a disturbing Cursed aura filled the air.
"You ignorant brats! Interrupting Grandma's work will cost you dearly!"
Her grandson acted in tandem, throwing several talismans into the air.
They ignited instantly, transforming into blue spectral fireballs that shot toward Itadori.
Itadori reacted immediately. He rolled aside to evade the attacks before slamming his fist into the rooftop.
Cursed Energy exploded outward, shattering several newly formed runes and disrupting the Worshiping Hag's technique before it could fully activate.
"Tsk!"
Her expression darkened. She clearly hadn't expected such a straightforward and effective response.
Meanwhile, Nanami and Kurisaka's battle intensified.
Kurisaka possessed tremendous strength, each Cursed Energy enhanced punch slicing through the air with immense force.
However, Nanami's close combat skills and swordsmanship were exceptional. He effortlessly avoided the heavy attacks while his blade struck like a venomous serpent.
"I'll be taking these with me now," Kurisaka sneered.
He suddenly reached into his clothing and pulled out two of the black Cursed Tool nails serving as anchor points.
"Stop him!" Nanami shouted as he increased the intensity of his assault.
Silver flashes from his blade formed a deadly net in an attempt to intercept him.
Seeing this, Itadori immediately prepared to help.
"Your opponent is me, brat!" the Worshiping Hag's grandson shrieked.
More talismans transformed into fireballs and wind blades, forcing Itadori to defend himself.
"Itadori! Megumi!" Nanami barked.
His attacks shifted, forcing back the Worshiping Hag and her grandson.
"Go after him! He cannot escape with those nails!"
Itadori didn't hesitate.
He immediately rushed toward the staircase where Kurisaka had fled.
Megumi followed closely behind as the two disappeared into the dim stairwell.
"Don't think you can escape!" Itadori roared, taking several steps at a time with incredible speed.
Megumi remained close behind.
"Be careful. He could be setting up an ambush."
At that moment, the Worshiping Hag began muttering an incantation.
She bit her fingertip and flicked a drop of blood toward her grandson.
The blood expanded into an intricate crimson symbol before crashing onto his forehead.
"Ugh... ahhh!"
His body violently convulsed.
Bones cracked and shifted as muscles writhed beneath his skin.
His face twisted and changed shape.
Within seconds, an entirely different man stood in his place, radiating an overwhelming sense of danger.
He was tall and muscular, with black hair and a scar across his face.
His eyes were empty, yet as sharp as a predator's.
It was Toji Fushiguro.
Though unarmed, the pressure emanating from him instantly caused Nanami and Ino to break into a cold sweat.
Toji casually twisted his neck, his joints producing unsettling cracks.
His hollow gaze swept across the rooftop before stopping on the Worshiping Hag.
The smug expression on her face vanished, replaced by pure terror.
"W, wait! I summoned you..."
She never got to finish.
Toji vanished.
There was no Cursed Energy fluctuation whatsoever.
His overwhelming speed came entirely from his physical abilities.
Crunch.
With a sickening sound, the Worshiping Hag's neck snapped at an unnatural angle.
Her eyes remained wide open as her body collapsed lifelessly onto the rooftop.
She had never imagined that her own Spirit Summoning Technique would bring forth such a deadly monster.
After killing his summoner, Toji turned his attention to the remaining two.
His gaze held no trace of humanity.
It was as though he were evaluating objects rather than people.
Nanami's entire body tensed.
Cold sweat ran down his forehead.
As a Grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer, he immediately recognized that the man before him was far more dangerous than anyone currently present.
"Ino, fall back!" Nanami growled.
He raised his blade horizontally and entered a full defensive stance.
Ino was equally shaken by the sudden turn of events and the overwhelming killing intent.
Instinctively, he raised his guard as Cursed Energy flowed over his arms, preparing for battle.
