The four walked down the winding mountain path. Itadori Yuji and Gojo Satoru walked ahead, with Itadori constantly asking questions about his new classmates and future missions. Gojo answered in his usual carefree tone, making it hard to tell whether he was joking or serious.
Megumi Fushiguro followed quietly behind them, occasionally glancing at Sol, who walked beside him in silence.
This newcomer's presence was strangely quiet, almost impossible to detect, yet at the same time impossible to ignore.
And that face, Megumi had to admit, was undeniably handsome. Still, there was something sharp and dangerous about Sol's appearance that made people hesitate to stare for too long.
Sol paid no attention to Megumi's observation. He was silently adjusting the "frequency" of his power, carefully synchronizing it with the cursed energy of this world while suppressing the vast strength within him.
"This level should be enough, right?" Sol muttered inwardly.
The faint energy remaining inside him now felt roughly comparable to Gojo's cursed energy.
At least on the surface.
The station was crowded with people. Gojo stood near the exit with the three teenagers, making the group especially eye catching.
Gojo himself naturally drew attention, but alongside him were the energetic pink haired Itadori, the cold yet attractive Megumi, and Sol, whose silent presence carried an intense pressure that attracted countless glances.
"Ah, there she is!" Gojo suddenly raised a hand and pointed toward the ticket gate.
A brown haired girl wearing a stylish jacket and skirt walked out while dragging a suitcase behind her. Her eyes swept across the station before quickly landing on the unusually noticeable group, especially the tall white haired man wearing sunglasses.
She puffed her cheeks slightly before walking over.
"You must be Nobara Kugisaki, right? Welcome to Tokyo!" Gojo greeted with a smile. "I'm Gojo Satoru, your teacher. These three are your classmates, Itadori Yuji, Megumi Fushiguro, and Sol Mirek."
"Hello, everyone!" Nobara placed her suitcase down and looked over the three boys carefully.
When her eyes landed on Sol, she paused for a moment. Surprise flashed through her eyes before quickly turning into stubborn competitiveness.
"From today onward, we're partners, so take care of me!"
"Oh! Same here!" Itadori responded enthusiastically.
Megumi gave a small nod. "Nice to meet you."
Sol casually glanced at her before giving a small nod in return.
"It's pretty rare for all four first years to gather together this quickly, and since three of you are new to Tokyo, we're obviously going sightseeing first!" Gojo clapped his hands excitedly.
"Yes!" Itadori immediately cheered.
Nobara's eyes sparkled as she looked around the bustling station. "I love Tokyo already. Finally, I'm out of that countryside town."
"Right? Tokyo's amazing!" Itadori instantly agreed.
The two immediately bonded over their excitement for the city.
"So, our first sightseeing destination..." Gojo dragged out the sentence while looking at the excited pair.
"Shibuya!" Itadori shouted.
"Harajuku!" Nobara declared at the same time.
The two froze before immediately glaring at each other.
"Obviously Shibuya! It's the center of trends!"
"Harajuku is literally the birthplace of fashion! What do you know?"
"Shibuya has way better food!"
"Harajuku's crepes are unbeatable!"
Megumi watched the argument expressionlessly before quietly speaking to Sol.
"It's going to get noisy."
Sol nodded slightly. "Isn't that part of the fun?"
The argument between Itadori and Nobara only grew louder, attracting the attention of nearby pedestrians.
Megumi rubbed his temples with a sigh. "This is definitely going to be exhausting."
Sol casually observed the bustling crowd around the station, completely unconcerned by the chaos nearby.
"Alright, alright." Gojo clapped his hands to interrupt the two first years. A sly grin appeared on his face. "Your suggestions aren't bad, but your amazing teacher already picked the first stop."
The two immediately stopped arguing and looked at him expectantly.
"Where are we going?" they asked together.
Gojo raised a finger dramatically.
"Roppongi."
"Roppongi?" Itadori tilted his head, unfamiliar with the place.
Nobara's eyes lit up immediately. "Oh! That's the place with all the skyscrapers and luxury stores, right?"
"Bingo!" Gojo snapped his fingers. "You can get an incredible view of Tokyo there. Perfect for sightseeing."
Although slightly disappointed their choices were ignored, the two quickly became excited again.
"Then let's go!" Gojo waved toward the taxi stand outside the station.
A spacious taxi soon stopped nearby. Gojo entered first and sat in the front passenger seat.
Itadori, Nobara, Megumi, and Sol entered the back one after another. Itadori sat in the middle, with Nobara on his left and Megumi on his right. Sol took the seat beside the window next to Megumi.
The taxi soon merged into Tokyo's busy afternoon traffic.
Inside the vehicle, Itadori and Nobara remained fascinated by the city scenery outside the windows, constantly pointing at buildings and stores while chatting excitedly.
Megumi leaned against the window with his eyes closed, completely uninterested in the noise around him.
Gojo hummed quietly in a good mood while tapping his fingers against the door.
His attention slowly shifted toward the students in the back seat.
Itadori carried Sukuna's overwhelming cursed energy.
Nobara's cursed energy was solid and stable.
Megumi's remained the same as always.
But Sol...
Gojo's tapping suddenly stopped.
Strange.
He focused his Six Eyes on Sol once again.
Nothing?
The cursed energy coming from Sol was so faint that it was almost nonexistent, weaker than most ordinary civilians walking outside the taxi. If Gojo had not physically seen Sol sitting there, he might have overlooked him entirely.
"Hm?"
Behind his sunglasses, Gojo narrowed his pale blue eyes slightly.
When they first met yesterday, Sol's cursed energy had still been faintly detectable. Weak, but noticeable.
But now, after only one night, it had nearly vanished completely.
Was he hiding it somehow?
No.
What kind of concealment technique could deceive even the Six Eyes to this extent?
