"It's fine, it's fine~" Satoru Gojo waved his hand lazily. "Teaching students properly is a teacher's responsibility. But before that, Itadori, come with me to meet the principal."
He pointed toward the path outside.
"We need to report the situation with the tenant living inside you to the principal. Depending on his decision, you might not even get accepted, so try your best."
"Eh?!" Yuji Itadori stiffened instantly. "Does that mean I'm getting executed right away?!"
Gojo chuckled and casually patted his shoulder.
"Relax. The principal is a reasonable person. As long as you explain things properly, it'll probably work out." His tone carried absolutely no reassuring sincerity.
Itadori looked even more nervous after hearing that, but Gojo still pushed him toward the principal's office.
Before leaving, Gojo turned back and waved at Sol.
"Sol, you can look around for now and get familiar with the school. You can also check out the dorms. Your room should already be prepared. Once I'm done, I'll introduce you to the others~"
With that, he walked away while dragging the still-panicking Itadori along with him.
Soon, only Sol remained at the dojo entrance.
The mountain breeze drifted through the campus, carrying the soft rustling of leaves.
The school grounds were unusually quiet. Aside from Gojo's overwhelming presence that had already disappeared into the distance, the entire campus felt nearly empty.
Sol slowly stepped into the dojo, the wooden floor creaking softly beneath his feet.
The spacious training hall was silent except for the sound of his footsteps. He stopped near the center of the room and casually scanned his surroundings with his dark red eyes.
A moment later, the sliding door on the opposite side opened.
A tall girl walked inside.
She wore the dark blue uniform of Tokyo Jujutsu High, identical to Sol's. Her black hair was tied into a ponytail, and a pair of glasses rested neatly on her face. In one hand, she carried a wooden practice sword.
It was Maki Zenin.
She clearly had not expected someone else to be in the dojo. Her steps paused slightly as her sharp eyes landed on Sol.
The calm yet strangely noticeable aura around him made it impossible to mistake him for an ordinary person.
"Who are you?" Maki asked directly.
"New student. Sol Mirek."
"A new student?" Maki frowned faintly while adjusting her glasses. "Brought in by Gojo-sensei? I didn't hear anything about another admission today."
She paused halfway through her sentence, as if something clicked in her mind.
"Oh, another special case?"
She was obviously referring to Itadori.
Sol neither confirmed nor denied it. He simply looked at her quietly.
Maki studied him for another second before giving a small nod.
"I'm Maki Zenin, a second-year. Since you're here, stay out of the way while I train."
Her tone was straightforward and blunt.
After speaking, she walked toward one side of the dojo and began practicing with the wooden sword. Her swings were precise and powerful, every movement refined through constant repetition.
Although her cursed energy was weak, her physical skill stood out immediately.
Sol remained where he was, calmly watching her practice.
His gaze held no mockery or criticism. He simply observed.
Still, after a while, Maki began noticing it.
She finished a sequence of strikes and glanced back at him.
"Do you need something?"
"No."
"Then why are you staring?"
"Observing the environment."
The answer came so naturally that Maki nearly lost her rhythm again.
What kind of weird response was that?
She clicked her tongue internally and resumed training, but Sol's steady gaze lingered in the background the entire time, making it harder than expected to focus completely.
After some time, footsteps approached from outside, followed by Gojo's unmistakably carefree voice.
"Yo~ Looks like you've already met."
Gojo slid the door open and walked in with Itadori beside him.
Unlike earlier, Itadori looked visibly relieved, as though he had barely survived a life-or-death interrogation.
"Gojo-sensei." Maki lowered her sword before glancing at Itadori. "So this is the guy who swallowed Sukuna's finger?"
"That's right!" Gojo grinned while patting Itadori's shoulder. "Itadori Yuji will officially be your new classmate!"
Then he looked toward Sol.
"And this is Sol Mirek, another first-year admitted today. Looks like you two already introduced yourselves?"
"More or less," Maki replied.
Her gaze shifted between the two newcomers.
One contained a Special Grade cursed object inside his body.
The other carried an unreadable presence that felt oddly dangerous despite how relaxed he looked.
This year's first-years were definitely abnormal.
"Alright then," Gojo clapped his hands together. "Fushiguro is still recovering, so we'll keep introductions simple for now."
He pointed casually toward Maki.
"Itadori, Sol, this is Maki Zenin, your senpai. Maki, these are the two new first-years."
"Please take care of me, Maki-senpai!" Itadori bowed enthusiastically.
Sol simply gave a slight nod in greeting.
Maki responded with a nod of her own.
"Perfect. We'll finish the paperwork later. For now, let's get you settled into the dorms." Gojo turned around and started walking out. "Follow me~"
Itadori immediately followed while asking endless questions about the school and dorm life.
Sol walked behind the group in silence.
The dormitory area sat behind the main school buildings, made up of several traditional Japanese-style residences surrounded by trees.
Gojo eventually stopped in front of an empty room.
"This one's yours, Sol. Itadori's room is right next door. Most necessities are already prepared, but tell me if you need anything else."
"Thanks."
Sol slid the door open.
The room was simple but clean. Tatami flooring covered the interior, and the furniture was minimal. Through the open window, dense mountain forests stretched into the distance.
"Take today to rest and get used to the place," Gojo said casually. "Tomorrow, we're going to pick up the fourth first-year student."
After waving lazily at the two of them, he left again.
Itadori leaned against Sol's doorway with his usual energy.
"Sol, we're neighbors now, so take care of me from now on!"
Sol glanced at him.
"Sure."
Itadori blinked in surprise before grinning.
"Nice, you actually answered this time."
Sol smirked faintly.
"You looked like you were about to cry earlier, so I figured I should encourage you a little."
"Huh?! I was not crying!"
"Mm," Sol replied lazily. "You were just one motivational speech away from tears."
Itadori immediately started arguing while Sol casually slid the door shut in front of him.
Standing inside his room, Sol walked toward the window and looked out at the mountains slowly turning orange beneath the setting sun.
The power system of this world was interesting.
Cursed energy, cursed techniques, binding vows, all of it operated through unique rules that differed greatly from the systems he already understood.
Not particularly advanced, but fascinating in its own way.
He only needed time.
Time to observe.
Time to understand.
And eventually, time to make this world's power system part of his own.
