The instant God's Avatar was completely annihilated, the Moon's surface looked as though it had been wiped clean by an invisible hand, leaving behind nothing but absolute emptiness.
The suffocating pressure faded like a retreating tide.
The abnormal weather consuming the planet abruptly ceased. The violent energy vortex above the battlefield silently dispersed, and long-lost sunlight finally broke through the darkened sky once again.
Dead silence swallowed the devastated battlefield.
Heroes and monsters alike stood frozen, staring at the monstrous figure near the Moon's orbit. Its cold, deathly aura spread endlessly through space while everyone below struggled to process the impossible reality before them.
God's Avatar, the being that viewed all life as insignificant insects, had been erased.
Not defeated.
Erased.
A terrifying unknown entity had appeared, overwhelmed it completely, devoured its power, and then annihilated it without leaving behind even a trace.
After several seconds of absolute silence, chaos erupted across the battlefield.
"Is... is it over?" an A-Class Hero muttered weakly as he collapsed onto the ground.
Drive Knight's electronic eyes flickered violently while overloaded static buzzed from his body.
"God's Avatar energy signature has completely disappeared. Annihilation confirmed. Unknown lifeform energy signal remains active. Threat level impossible to calculate."
Inside the command center, Sitch slumped heavily into his chair. Sweat drenched his uniform while his trembling mouth failed to produce a single order.
Everything that had happened today had shattered his understanding of reality.
Bang supported the weakened Tatsumaki while staring into the sky with narrowed eyes. Beneath his shock and vigilance, faint disbelief lingered.
That fighting style.
Those movements.
Those techniques.
Far too familiar.
Tatsumaki's emerald eyes remained fixed on the monstrous figure. Her heart pounded violently as a ridiculous possibility surfaced in her mind.
Could it really be him?
But that cold aura, that inhuman presence, made the thought difficult to accept.
"It... it actually won?" Metal Bat muttered while leaning against his damaged bat, still breathing heavily.
Tanktop Master stared upward grimly.
"Yeah, it won. But what the hell is that thing?"
Genos continuously adjusted his visual focus while trying to analyze the figure.
"The energy signature resembles Sol-senpai in some aspects, but the overall structure is completely different. It feels closer to a physical manifestation of a rule or concept. No matches found in database records."
Saitama rubbed his bald head while staring into the sky.
"Hmm. It's really strong. Feels kinda familiar too."
He tilted his head thoughtfully.
On the monsters' side, fear spread even more intensely.
Gouketsu's four eyes widened in disbelief.
"It devoured God... what kind of monster is that?"
Black Sperm's countless tiny heads twisted frantically while shrill voices echoed nonstop.
"Too terrifying!"
"That thing's worse than God!"
"It looked at us!"
"Is it gonna eat us too?!"
Elder Centipede shifted uneasily. Gums released frightened gurgling noises. Overgrown Rover lowered all three heads to the ground with its tail tucked tightly beneath its body, while Ugly President's twisted grin had long disappeared.
Every monster executive felt it clearly.
That creature possessed an aura far more terrifying than God's Avatar itself.
Not just stronger.
Higher.
Like an existence capable of deciding their life and death on a whim.
Then the monster slowly turned its head.
The smooth bone-white mask reflected the sunlight while two narrow crimson slits swept indifferently across the battlefield below.
Everyone touched by that gaze, heroes and monsters alike, felt instinctive fear crawl up their spines.
It felt like being noticed by a predator at the top of the food chain.
Its gaze lingered on no one.
Everything below seemed meaningless to it.
Finally, the crimson slits lifted slightly toward the deeper reaches of space, as though confirming something unseen.
Moments later, the figure shifted slightly.
It looked ready to leave.
Then everything changed.
Without warning, the space surrounding the monstrous figure suddenly twisted violently.
The distortion did not come from its own power.
Another spatial force had forcibly intervened.
A far greater one.
The monster reacted instantly. Dark red veins across its body erupted with blinding light as it attempted to stabilize itself against the distortion.
But this spatial power vastly surpassed anything from before.
It carried absolute authority, like the will of the universe itself.
Hum.
The strange vibration echoed directly into everyone's senses rather than through sound.
Under countless horrified gazes, the monster's body blurred like a reflection in violently disturbed water.
Its form distorted.
Faded.
Then vanished completely.
It had not moved.
It had not turned invisible.
It had been forcibly removed from space itself.
Silence covered the battlefield once again.
Everyone stared blankly, unable to comprehend what they had just witnessed.
"It disappeared again?" Child Emperor's voice trembled slightly. The endless shocks of the day had pushed the young hero close to his limit. "What is even happening anymore...?"
Drive Knight scanned the surroundings frantically.
"Detected abnormal high-level spatial displacement. Unknown lifeform was forcibly transferred. Source cannot be traced. Spatial authority resembles universal-scale interference."
Bang frowned deeply.
"Forcibly taken away... was that the real God? Or something else entirely?"
Tatsumaki bit her lip tightly.
The faint hope inside her chest had been extinguished as quickly as it appeared, replaced by growing unease.
Saitama scratched his cheek lazily.
"Huh? It left already? I still wanted to ask if it was Sol-senpai."
Genos immediately looked around vigilantly.
"Sensei, please remain cautious. The situation is still unstable."
The monsters quickly descended into panic again.
"It vanished?!"
"Was it destroyed?"
"Did it escape?"
"What the hell just happened?!"
Gouketsu and the other executives exchanged tense looks.
With the terrifying shared enemy gone, the fragile balance between heroes and monsters instantly collapsed.
The remaining monsters subconsciously regrouped while staring warily at the heroes.
The heroes also tightened formation despite their injuries, preparing themselves for another possible conflict.
Inside the command center, Sitch forced himself to regain composure.
"All units remain alert! Drive Knight, continue monitoring abnormal spatial activity. Bang, Atomic Samurai, maintain defensive positions and prepare for possible retaliation from the Monster Association!"
But despite the tension, both sides seemed distracted.
After witnessing battles far beyond their understanding, after watching God's Avatar erased and that terrifying monster appear and vanish like a cosmic disaster, their own conflict suddenly felt insignificant.
Meaningless, even.
