Chapter 159 - 159: Breaking Into the Core

"I'll throw you from the sky ten thousand times!" Tatsumaki roared through clenched teeth, her green hair whipping violently within the storm of psychic energy. She spun sharply, unleashing a surge of psychokinesis that crushed several charging alien grunts into fragments.

Meanwhile, inside the spaceship.

Sol moved swiftly through a dim metal corridor, his armor emitting a faint dark red glow. Each step left deep imprints on the floor, and the oppressive aura around him forced nearby grunts to hesitate and retreat.

"I need to find the control room," Sol muttered, his crimson eyes gleaming in the darkness.

A group of heavily armed alien warriors suddenly emerged from the passage ahead, their weapons raised and locked onto him.

"Intruder, surrender immediately!" their leader barked in a universal tongue.

Sol did not slow down.

Dark red energy seeped from the seams of his armor as he surged forward like a phantom. His movements flowed smoothly, blending the precision of Smashing Fist with the explosive force of Exploding Heart Release Fist. Every strike landed cleanly on vital points.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

The dull impacts echoed through the corridor. The grunts never got the chance to fire. Weapons shattered, armor crumpled, and bodies collapsed under overwhelming force.

Sol continued forward without pause. Deep within the ship, he could sense a powerful presence gathering.

Boros.

"Running out of time," he said quietly.

Faint red patterns spread across his skin beneath the armor. As his patterned state fully activated, his speed surged again, his figure flashing forward like dark lightning.

A massive blast door suddenly sealed the path ahead.

Sol raised his right fist, energy gathering rapidly along the seams of his armor.

Boom!

The door exploded inward, twisted metal scattering across the corridor. Sol stepped through the wreckage and entered a vast circular chamber.

The core of the spaceship.

The walls were lined with flickering control panels, and at the center floated a glowing blue energy core. Standing before it was a tall figure.

"At last, someone worth facing," a deep voice echoed.

Sol's gaze sharpened. His muscles tensed beneath the armor.

Gloribas, one of the three generals of the Dark Matter Pirates.

The green alien's body resembled a crustacean, its exoskeleton thick and ridged, with massive pincers extending from its arms.

"Move," Sol said flatly.

Gloribas let out a low laugh. "You think a creature like you can stand before Lord Boros?"

Without warning, its pincers released a spray of highly corrosive acid.

Sol sidestepped instantly. The acid struck the floor, burning through the metal and leaving a gaping hole.

"So that's your trick," Sol said, unimpressed.

A red sheen flickered across his armor as he launched forward.

The two collided in rapid succession, each impact sending ripples through the chamber. Gloribas lashed out with acid and pincers, but Sol weaved through every attack with precise footwork. In return, his punches hammered against the alien's hardened shell.

"It's useless!" Gloribas sneered, swinging a pincer like a whip.

This time, Sol did not dodge.

The strike hit his armor, sparks scattering on impact. He seized the moment, drawing back his fist as energy surged violently.

"Heart Release Fist."

Boom!

The punch landed squarely on Gloribas's chest, shattering the exoskeleton. Green fluid burst outward as the alien staggered, disbelief flashing across its face.

"H-how..."

Sol gave no opening.

His second strike hit the same spot, completely breaking through the chest plate. Gloribas's massive body was sent flying, crashing into the barrier surrounding the energy core.

"N-no... impossible..."

It struggled to rise, its body failing under the damage.

Sol approached steadily, his gaze cold.

He lifted his foot and brought it down.

Crunch.

Gloribas's head was crushed instantly, green fluid spreading across the floor.

Sol flicked the residue off his foot and turned toward the energy core.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, Muzan and the other demons worked quietly, moving civilians away from danger. They avoided drawing attention, blending into the chaos as they carried out rescues.

"Sol-sama is fighting," Muzan said, a faint reverence in his crimson eyes. "We must not fail him."

Kokushibo's six eyes shifted in unison. "Continue. Stay unnoticed."

Hantengu's clones moved in different directions, each carrying injured civilians. Daki pulled a small unconscious girl from the rubble.

"Brother, I found one."

Gyutaro appeared beside her. "Good. We move quickly. Heroes are getting closer."

Gyokko remained hidden, releasing streams of water to ease the pain of the wounded. Akaza stood nearby, alert, his gaze scanning the surroundings.

"S-Class heroes are approaching," he warned quietly.

At once, they suppressed their presence, disguising themselves as ordinary rescue workers while continuing their efforts.

From a distant rooftop, Child Emperor observed everything.

He adjusted his glasses, his expression thoughtful as his mechanical lenses recorded the scene.

"Why are these monsters helping humans?"

His fingers moved rapidly across his tablet, comparing data.

"They do not match known monster patterns... yet their abilities exceed human limits."

Metal Bat's voice suddenly came through his communicator.

"Hey! Kid! Stop standing around and help with the evacuation!"

Child Emperor snapped out of his thoughts. "Coming."

He cast one last look at the mysterious rescuers before turning and running toward the evacuation zone.
