Paris was at the harbor school.

"You have that look," Paris said.
"What look."
"The one where you want something specific and you have calculated that I am the most efficient path to it."
Lysander sat beside him on the wall.
"Kephon's network," he said. "The contacts in the eastern interior. Did any of them have connections to the northern river routes."
Paris set the tablet on his knee.
"The Thracian timber routes," he said.
Not a question.
"Yes," Lysander said.
"You have lost the Thracian supply and you need it back or a replacement and you think Kephon's network connects to the northern traders."
"Does it."
